Vajapocalypse Little Miss Fortune argenti vulpis They do? O.O I dont mind when one gender says they have an advantage over the other and is proud of it (assuming its true). But when I see people saying theyre better "just cause" I find it annoying. ._.
When is it ever true? Well I assume if a guy's muscly and tells a woman who's frail that he can kick her a**, than yeah, I'd consider that a true advantage but it's more person specific than gender specific.
Exactly, but he said when one gender says they have an advantage over another, which is never true.

Misser Godiva I would like to point out that: Your strength, emotional levels and mental capacity are not determined by your gender. Men are not naturally inclined to protect women, that is trained in to them. So your hypotheses are incorrect. As to maternity pay, men can get pregnant to! Incorrect on both points. Males are genetically designed to be stronger on average than females, that's what testosterone -does-. Like many instincts, it's fading out in modern society, but it's still present in a fair proportion of the last generation. We know it's there, because that's where the "don't kill women and children", and chivalry mentalities came from. And no, men cannot get pregnant. We've no eggs.

Val's got a point. There are genetic impulses, as well as certain behaviorial traits that we have.
Women give birth to their children. The woman needs to nurse the child. The woman nurtures the child. The woman, for a long time, gives a large amount of affection to the child (not to say that the woman feels more affection, it's just how it is felt by the child).
As part of a strange survival/mating impulse in a man, they protect the woman. It is their mate, and they will not let another man attempt to mate with theirs, as humans are fairly monogamous (in this respect, although there are other non-monogamy impulses as well). Also, to ensure that their children are able to be born and continue to live, the man protects the woman out of a survival instinct. A man will take harm upon himself to protect the wellbeing of the offspring and their species' line of genetics.
These factors, both learned and inbred, tend to govern generic patterns. Cooking is not really a trait, but merely an application of these ideas. So a woman does not need to cook or stay at home, but an oversimplification of these complex social phenominon will boil down to these actions that most will likely follow.
The reason we do not like these are because they are in fact generalizations. We believe it takes away the self, and due not feel obligated to these standards. We would also like to believe that we have our consciousness, and that a mere instinct should not rule us. For the most part, they shouldn't. A man's need to protect can easily get intertwined with jealousy, but if a man can heed the need to protect without being a jealous mess, than what is wrong with that?
The thing I'd like to advise against is rebelling against your nature in a manner that is harmful. There are harmful effects on a wide scale when many people neglect beneficial impulses.
I will also admit that with or without oppression or sexism or anything else, women do have a bunch of things to do that men don't. I don't ever want to know the pain of childbirth.

I can't believe that I'm finding myself agreeing with AHMETRock on a matter involving gender... Wow. o.O
I don't actually rebel against my nature so much as I rebel against what other people believe should be my nature when all they're basing it on is the fact that I have a v****a. I don't want to marry a man who's going to "put me in my place" and expect me to do all the housework just because I'm a woman. But if I marry someone who works, and I end up quitting my job when we have kids, then I'd be more than happy to take care of what needs to be taken care of at home when he's not there to help. If we don't have kids, though, and both of us work, then the housework should be split up evenly--it shouldn't all fall on my shoulders just because I'm a woman.
I was always the kid who would scream "THAT'S NOT FAIR!" when one of my brothers got something that I didn't get. I know my views are idealistic, but I can't help it. I wish everything could be fair and equal... =/

Women Should be treated equally..I am so sorry for you guys that think that they lead this country..Barack does. Yes, hes a guy but He is also africian american and It can change from White to Black To Male To Female in an instant just like it did for the president.
Women are the most respected..
Fine, If you say women should Not be treated equally..We should leave and if we DID ..Every women..Men would be giving each other blow jobs... blaugh

That's foolish. There's a reason we have seperate terms for male and female, because they're -different- and hence not equal. I don't actually know. In the case of hermaphrodites, it would depend how dominant the testosterone's effects are (since humans are by default female).
As for transgender, I would again assume that any difference based on physical sex is based on the sex they've assumed rather than the sex they were. Hormones are in theory what causes the difference.
It's an interesting point though.
Of course, personally, I treat them the same as any other person... but I have to confess, some of the ones you find on K-road are creepy creepy people.

They follow the pack and more specifically the pack leader. Ever heard "that behind every strong man is an even stronger woman"? Well it's very true. Women control men and need to go back to the proper status. Their ability to use emotions and persuasion makes them a much more useful tool in battle as they are multipurpose. Bitches get further in life. cool Bitches aint nothin but hoes and tricks. As the song goes, "Lying is the most fun girls can have without taking their clothes off" Girls most of the time, to get their way, are kniving, and manipulative. usually the pack leader is a male. Men follow men. Men follow women, to get laid. That is why women are in control. Because they can give sex. Boobs. Girls could rule the world with them. Vagoos, said to be the most beautiful things in the world. Playboy, is a frickin cash place. Big money gettin into the joint. I rest my case.
