As the song advanced, grew stronger, faster, Aoi did as well, the dance twirling faster, more precisely than ever before. Aoi couldn’t help but notice it was suddenly so much easier to balance, to twirl, as if he had more to balance upon…and he felt heavier, yet strong enough to move the new weight regardless…and his feet felt so much more sensitive to the ground beneath them, too…
We can just figure out what it is after we’re done dancing…
Not to say he wanted the dance to ever stop.

"Okay, dat sounds good to me," Orpheus whispered as he completely ignored whatever was happening to Aoi. Surely, it was a good thing seeing as he wasn't in pain or anything. In fact, he seemed irrevocably enthralled with their dance, which elated Orpheus more than he could express to Aoi. The mist was so thick he couldn't see anything, but he could feel him, his pulse, and it was comforting, relaxing. The little wyvern wrapped around his fellow Essentic's neck and nuzzled what he assumed was Aoi's cheek, but it might've been his own back...

Mmmhmmmm… was all Aoi could reply, now. No, he most certainly felt no pain here, now, just blissful- what was it, this…blissful something or other, this elated feel…Several songs had past now, but that didn’t matter to Aoi so long as the dance kept going. Soon enough, though, he began to hear the last song on the play list begin…and he felt that light nuzzle…even returned it a little bit. It all just felt so…right.

Orpheus sighed with such contentment and continued nuzzling Aoi's cheek, that warm, fuzzy feeling enveloping him completely. This feeling... if he could make it last forever, he would, this lovely warmth smack dab in his heart. His tail flicked back and forth, no longer in time to the song, but to Aoi's heartbeat...

((I'll take that as my cue to come back in. xd ))
To say that Shade was tired when he finally stumbled out of the bathroom was an understatement - he was exhausted and quite sore, truth be told. Had one been able to see the mark on his neck beneath his fur, they'd probably be able to figure out what had obviously happened. Then again, the way he was walking /STILL/ made it pretty obvious.
Now, that wasn't to say that he hadn't enjoyed himself - the yells that had been coming from the bathroom were enough proof of that - but he was worn now. He just wanted to fall onto a couch and sleep for a few hours.
Or a few days. Whichever ended up happening, really.

The song, slowly, eventually came to its end, a heavy rain pouring down upon the plants. The storm was far, far larger than anything Aoi had ever produced, and as the mist cleared, and a newly-nude alter stood in the center of it all, it became apparent he was larger too. He looked down, at his new body.
“…huh. That explains it.”
His thoughts, however, were shifted as his Alter-sharpened senses detected the situation inside. Looks like Shade’d need some help…He quickly ran inside, past Shade with a short “Just a sec…” before he got to his room. He slipped on a bath robe, not really thinking about how it was nearly open in the front because he’d never had to think about it before, and got to Shade’s side.
“Man, I got back at the right time, huh…here… He put Shade’s arm around his shoulders, supporting a decent amount of the impling’s weight. “Must be hell to walk like that, here, lemme get you to my room, take a nap…”
At the moment, he seemed to have forgotten the whole ‘I just shifted to Alter’ thing.
Elst, in the meanwhile, had been lounging around, at work on some of the plants. The shrieks from the bathroom seemed to have not phased him at all, didn’t even distract him from the clipping of his several bonsai trees. Only thought he had that were even related to the likely countless, undoubtedly sacrilegious acts going on in his shower were in regards to where he put the cleaning supplies.

Orpheus jumped a bit when the rain started falling (he wasn't about to doze off, noooo) and shook off the water droplets from his tail. He wasn't one for getting wet and always gave
"What explains it?" The little wyvern asked before realizing that Aoi didn't look like Aoi. In fact, Orpheus wasn't sure the person he was resting on was Aoi. He sounded like him a lot, but the Aoi he knew wasn't this tall, wasn't humanoid, and certainly did not have the same kind of parts as the brahs in Verdant's magazines.
Before he could say anything else, Aoi was running into the house faster than Orpheus was used to flying. He flitted off his shoulders to rest on Elst's while his... friend went to help out Shade.
Verdant sauntered out after the imp, a wide and satisfied grin on his face. He did attempt to hide it for a bit, but he thought he was gonna get a smile charley horse. Then some other naked kid rushed by and that made the nymph mildly confused. He did a double take and raised an eyebrow. "Elst, what's with the eye candyhelping Shade?"

Shade blinked confusedly as the unfamililar boy slung his arm over his shoulders to help him walk. After a few moments of bafflement, the impling realized that, while he didn't recognize the boy physically, he did recognize his scent and the sound of his voice. Was this...
"A-Aoi...?" Shade tried to ignore how sore his throat was (he could blame all the yelling he'd done on that part) and did his best to wrap his head around what his senses were telling him. "What...happened to you?" Maybe he was just /REALLY/ tired and needed a nap...he could've been hallucinating for all he knew!

Aoi frowned as Orpheus left his shoulders, making note to hurry Shade to his room so he could reunite with the wyvern. He was careful, though, not to walk Shade over too fast, wouldn’t want to aggravate the sensitivity, of course, but made good time in getting him to the mellow-lit, comfortable room, laying the impling on his bed. “There, just get some sleep, alright? I went Alter, is all, this is just my new body.” With a soft smile, he made sure the impling was comfortable and left to retrieve his precious wyvern.
Elst, meanwhile, kept Orpheus balanced on his shoulders, looking over at Verdant. “Eye-candy? What do you mean, Verdant?” He had not seen Aoi run by.

Verdant tilted his head in an avian manner, then pointed in Shade and Eye-Candy's general direction. "There was this cute guy who rushed by to help Shade walk. He had petals for hair and these heterochromatic eyes-"
Petal hair? Eh?
"OH. Aoi."
Orpheus rolled his eyes and flew off to take his rightful place on Aoi's shoulders. "How's Shade doin'?"
