Isadora let out a smile. "I don't think we need to worry about this Asami woman. From what I've heard, I heard that Melethia had defeated and killed her. But in the meantime, let's get something to eat."
[The following characters are not really part of the event nor be part of FEF. Those are minor characters. However, they will be used for this scene.]
"Boring!!" The young girl sighed as she looked out the window. So far, the regular customers were coming to have lunches and yet, not one new customer came to eat. Not only that, but they are in the most active festival of all too. Where are the new customers? The young girl humped. Before she was about to take another order from her regular customers, she saw something approaching.
A smile spread up when she saw two new customers approaching the Shepherd's Corner, the restaurant. Before the customers were about to enter the building, she quickly dashed toward them and give them a huge.
"Welcome to the Shepherd's Corner, I'm your waitress Mary!" The young girl greeted as she grabbed the customers' arms and dragged them to the nearest empty table. One customer was a woman in armor. She must be a knight. The other was a young girl around her age with a sword behind her back. Placing them in their seats, she gave them the menus.
"As you can see, our restaurant is the best of all of Eryis. We have great entrees, vegetarian meals, and more. In fact, if you look in this menu." As she handed them her menu. "You can try our creative dishes. Made by yours truly, me."
"Here's your meal, sir." The young man let out a smile as he placed the order on the table. So far, the business wasn't so bad. Though the festival was festive, he was glad that the restaurant wasn't overcrowded. After all, there wasn't enough waiters and waitresses around. Turning his attention to see any available customers to serve, his face paled from what he was.
His twin sister, Mary, had trying to serve her dishes to the new customers. This wasn't good. Though his sister was a good waitress, she was horrible at making dishes.
Please ask for the drinks. The young waiter silently prayed as he watched them from afar. Happy to hear the the customers needed time to think of the order and asked for drinks, he waited until his sister headed to the kitchen. Once she was gone, he went toward the new customers.
"Hello. I'm sorry if I've interrupted your thinking of what to order, but I suggest not to order any dishes from what my sister had made. She's not a very good cook. And if you need more suggestion, just call me my name, Me- ACK!!!" He choked when he felt his sister's arm wrapped around his neck.
"What were you telling them, Merry?" Mary curly smiled. However, there was an glint in her eyes.
"Ack! No- Nothing!" Merry choked. "I was- Ack! Telling them how great- ACK! The dishes are!"
"Oh." Mary replied as she let go of her brother's neck and turned her attention to the customers. "Then I suggest you should order the Mary's Bo Beep Pot Pie."
"Which is too salty." Merry murmured to the customers, away from his sister's hearing.
"Or the Chicken on the Range Kabobs?"
"Which is too charcoal."
"Or my signature dish, Meadow Fields Salad?"
"I advise you not to- ACK!!!!" Merry pulled back and choked as his sister wrapped her arm around his neck again.
"What are you telling them?" She questioned her brother.
"Ack! Secret recipes!" It was all he could say as his air pipe was getting tightened again. Suddenly, his sister let go of his neck again.
"Oh, you silly brother. You know you're not supposed to tell them the secret recipe." He heard his sister spoke.
"Yeah.... I shouldn't" Merry muttered as he rubbed his neck. No matter how many times his sister tried to choke him, he still couldn't believe how gullible his sister was. When his sister went to the kitchen to get the customers' drinks, he turned to them.
"If you want to avoid her cooking, I suggest avoid those with the stars on it. It may look like it's for decoration, but it's the only way to avoid it without her wrath on you." He told them. "If you excuse me, I have some customers to take orders."

Hatori Miharu As usual Hatmon was with Kris, as they entered the festival grounds. They weren’t together very long, for as soon as the wily Manakete caught sight of a familiar lizard, he vanished with a quick word of farewell, much to Hatmon’s distress. She did enjoy time away from the feminine man, but it prevented her from doing her job. But, this was a festival, some time apart would do no harm, and they wouldn’t have any changes to meet new people if they stayed together. Not that Hatmon much cared for meeting new people, and this place was crawling with humans anyway!
It was less than a second later, that Hatmon noticed Ganon for herself. My, my. Kris is always so quick to pick up on these things. By now though, having traveled well into the festival crowds, they amount of people sure had increased in number. Making it to where Ganon was would be no easy manner if she walked that is. “Time to fly,” she said to herself as a smirk played across her face. With those three words, her body responded in turn as her tail swished a few times to clear some space to herself as she spread her small, black, demon wings. With one small, yet powerful she launched herself into the air and started to flutter to where Ganon was seated on a sloped roof.
It took a lot less time to fly to where the reptilian man was compared to if she had decided to walk. Her greeting consisted of a small wave of the hand as she landed gracefully on the roof beside Ganon. Her wings folded securely against her back as she seated herself. “We meet again,” she said in a sing-song voice as she curled her tail around her body. “I take it by the way you’re eating, you’re enjoying yourself, hm?” The snake raised his brow and grinned as Hatmon approached, waving to the vendor for two more steaks as he tossed a few more coins down. The vendor was experienced at serving in crowds-- that is, he had developed a good arm and excellent aim. Ganon fumbled a bit with the catch, but got his claw around one stick and his tail around the other, then offered one to his companion.
"I always eat like this! Once a month or so." He grinned and chomped on his stickmeat. "I get it all out of the way at once." He stretched out, laying back again to let the sun cast down on his bare, scaly chest. "I'm gonna do a show pretty soon, I think... Plan on sticking around?" He grinned again, his eye closed as his tail waved back and forth along the roof that was meant to shade him when he played. "I'd certainly be pleased if you did.""Hrrrrrah!" Steely Dan growled as he shoved forward, forcing the Warrior fighting against him in the makeshift sparring arena to stumble back, and then he brought his greatsword around and bashed it against the side of his opponent's head. The Warrior went down with a thud as cheers erupted in the audience, and Dan turned to face them with a grin on his face. He was wearing his sparring armor, which was less covering than his battle armor, and slowly he moved to the table outside the ring. "Alright! That's m'gold, aye?" Laughing, the "arena's" broker passed Steely Dan the bag of his winnings, and the crowd parted as he passed through with his greatsword held over his shoulder. As he passed through, he could hear the next fight being announced somewhere behind him, and he chuckled softly. Gods, he loved festivals.

Amelia had gone to exploring slowly as Sue disappeared to send off the message, knowing not to drift too far from the others. Festivals were less fun on your own, and she wouldn't expect them to appreciate her ditching them. The sound of shouts and raucous cheering was enough to distract her, though, and she turned to find a rather large man giving his opponent a heavy blow to the temple, enough to knock him right out of consciousness.
The distance was enough to make Amelia unsure, but then she could see the victor departing, holding both a small bag and carrying a Greatsword over his shoulder.
Totally called it. Well, half of it.
"Beating up on civilians?" Amelia laughed, putting one hand on her hip. "This is how you give back to the people when you're not on duty? For shame."

Ed bobbed her head once more. "Right you are! I'm starved!"
And then hardly a minute later something dashed up at them in a blur so quick and frightening that even Ed hardly had any time to react, and then something closed around her wrist and the next instant Ed, wide-eyed, was dragged along with Isadora toward a table.
Ed was still out of it when she sank into the nearest chair. Staring with big, bewildered eyes at their overeager waitress, Ed swayed and managed a vague nod, slipping her hand dazedly over the menu on the table. Ed had never thought anyone could move that fast, let alone catch her off-guard...
Ed picked up her menu as soon as her thoughts started to click back into place.
"Well, I must admit that was a little strange!" Ed remarked as she scanned the contents of the menu.
And then there was a young man at their table, his approach marked by a much more humbler greeting. She looked up, somewhat perplexed by this difference in behavior, although she was certainly glad to see a collected figure approaching them now.
Not a good cook, huh? she thought as she absorbed the words. And then her eyes widened again as she saw an arm around the young man's neck.
This waitress was very violent! After the exchange ended, Ed nodded at the young man before he took his leave.
"...R-right," Ed sighed, turning back to Isadora and the menu. "Avoid the...stars... Got it."

"Cap'n, what in the name 'o Falchion 'n the Hero Anri do ya think yer doin'?!" Leon grew furious at his superior's habit. "Them mercenaries ain't got proper trainin' like we do, ya know! It ain't even a match for ya! It's for yer win record, ain't it?!" If this was a quality of his Captain he didn't like.. if he could name Steely Dan's fatal flaw... it would have to be his pleasures of getting up his Arena wins... and of course the gold from it.

Victoria rolled her eyes at Leon, hearing the 'fight fair' speech all too much. She was surprised that a man his age was worried about such. "You're young, aren't you? If you show your anger like that, you're gonna grow old rather quickly." She winked, and then she approached Steely Dan.
"Excuse me sir, are you in need of healing? And what about your enemy? If either one of you can step forward... I could use some more experience in the art of staff healing." She smoothly spoke, not at all scared of the large man or his weapon. The bishop was taught how to dodge weapons.

Captain Dan rolled his eyes and grinned at Amelia. "'S an ol' tradition, boy!" he said to Leon. "Th' annual summer fest always got a arena!" He threw his head back and laughed as Victoria approached, then grinned as he replied, "Ah, I migh' 'ave a scratch 'r two yeh kin look at fer me!" He shifted, lowering the point of his blade to the ground as the healing light of Victoria's staff washed over him.
"Aha... got tha' kink outta meh back! Anehway... Dun see wot's wrong with a li'l sparrin' fer cash. Cut th' moral crap, Leon," he smirked with a glint in his eye. "We all know th' onleh reason y'ain't in there's yeh're scared ta get yer a** kicked by a merc."

"I agree with you..... Avoid the stars." Isadora agreed as she looked at the menu. It surprised the paladin and Ed when the waitress approached them so fast and dragged them into the nearest table. She had never met someone who could sneak and surprised them as a thief...... Like Master Legault did when she met him.
And the interaction between the siblings? She had never seen someone would respond so..... violent to another. Well, at least the waiter know how to endure his sister well. Isadora thought as she looked into the menu.
Somehow, nearly half of the menu had star next to it. And yet, she wondered how could the manager would ever let her dishes in it if they were horrible. She looked up to Ed. She suggested, "Maybe next time, we shouldn't come here."
It wasn't that she didn't like the dishes. After all, she and Ed hadn't order their dishes. Not to mention that the waitress said it was best. If it wasn't, there would not be customers there to eat. It was to avoid the overexcited waitress that she didn't want to see. Isadora had no idea why the manager managed to get used to her.
Looking at her menu again, she finally found a dish that looked edible to her, plus there was no star next to it. She commented, "The Spring Garden salad looks nice. What are you ordering, Ed?"

Cortesa Arai Himura FD looked around for things that Nils might enjoy, unsure if he'd be happy with anything FD picked... And then caught a glance at a shishkabob stand where you the customers seemed to be able to decide what they wanted on their skewers. It looks like they had a large variety of items to try. "Well, would you like to grab something to eat first, maybe?" FD smiled at the bard, "My treat." Nils nodded slowly, grinning happily. "Sounds good to me!" A small growl from his stomach said that it was a very good idea. He laughed sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "Really, really good... Uhm..." He watched the people pass by, trying to get an idea of what they had so he wouldn't end up standing around for five minutes trying to decide what the heck to get. "... Something with meat, I guess." Great then. Fire Dragon took Nils' hand in his so as not to be separated by the crowds as they made their way across to the shishkabob vendor (among other reasons). When they reached their destination, there remained two more customers in line before them. FD eyed their menu posted above. They had all sorts of meats from across Learania with spices and vegetables to provide an assortment of flavors, in addition to recommended combinations posted to the right. "Hmmm... the spicy Sacaen sounds good to me. What are you gonna want, Kaoru?"

Amelia just laughed. If you could understand what they were saying, hanging around those men offered some pretty decent humor. She glanced to the direction of the arena as a tall man tackled his opponent head-on, much to the entertainment of the crowd, then looked back to Captain Dan. "I guess you gotta put your talents to work," she agreed, smiling. Amelia vaguely wondered if she could defeat any of those regulars in the arena before Dan spoke up again, now directing his words again to the record keeper.
"I think he's got you there," Amelia laughed, her smile widening. She leaned on her spear and raised one eyebrow. "Or what if I challenged you? Or anyone else? Would you go in?"

Ed was absentmindedly tapping her finger on her lip, skimming over the contents of the menu. The siblings' conflict was still fresh in her mind but her hunger was even fresher. Her stomach complaining again, though quietly this time, Ed flipped back and forth in the menu until she settled on something that looked at least remotely interesting.
"Uhh, I'mma... 'Pegasus roast', what in tarnation is... No, what's the one next to -- yeah, mutton. I'll just get the Classic Mutton. Maybe the perry drink with it too..."

"Wha did ya say, Cap'n?!" Leon's enraged face continued to show, the man now insulted by one of the people he admired. "I ain't scared of no mercenary! Lemme go in there right now and prove it to ya! 'Melia. Watch closely. I'm 'bout to win... but don't ya do this often... 'tis too risky." It was so strange that somehow through his anger showed passion.

Sue rode Andre, nice and steady to where the Doctor's quarters was in Learania. It was a quiet day outside the main city, where all the festivities took place. Here in the 'business' district, it was easy to get around. A great day for an appointment or purchase, as there were no lines. "Let's see... it should be this way." She pointed east, and rode.

"Ah, even more warriors to heal." Victoria sighed. "So much for being off duty... but at least I can get more polished at this." She smiled up at Dan kindly. "By the way, thank you for letting me heal you, good Sir. I understand the Watch probably has their own preferred Healers..."

"Hmm? Not bad. I think I might have some apple juice with it." Isadora suggested as she placed her menu down. She looked around and called out the name.
However, that brought the siblings together.
"You're ready to order?!" Mary chirped.
"You call?" Merry answered her call.
Isadora could feel a sweat drop from her head. Who would in their right mind name them with similar names? Isadora thought.
When she announced her order, she noticed the waitress with a confused look.
"Wait? You're not ordering my dishes?" Mary questioned.
Oh dear....... Isadora thought dreadfully. It took them a few minutes over a silly argument about the orders, few rings around the brother's neck, and some few shouts from the waitress before the waitress was calmed down.
Isadora fanned herself with the menu, making a mental note not to pick a verbal fight with the waitress. The paladin turned her attention to her comrade when Mary asked Ed what she ordered.

"Hm..." Nils blinked, staring at the menu. After a few moments and a bit of mental debate (No, I want that one! ... But that one sounds good, too!), he squeezed FD's hand lightly, turning to look up at him. "... I guess I'll get the same thing, Hikaru."
