"I've never met Illustria or Kodiak, they both sound like nice Painters," Selenium smiled, peering up at the two from her spot on the floor. "So what does Illustria and Kodiak look like?" she asked intrigued by the two. Illustria was a goregous name and peaked her curiousity as to what the female Pan Lun looked like. Kodiak was equally handsome, and reminded her of warm brown colors. She was anxious to know if her guess was correct or not.

"Illustria is gorgeous. It's kind of hard to describe her. She's Pan-Lun and her skin color shifts, like every color of the rainbow under bright blue water. She has a blond blond and blue maine and strange crystaline wings. He also have no back legs, I guess that makes her a mutant," said Floyd dreamily.
"Ilustria is a whole lot more impressive then my mate. Kodiak is sort of carmel colored with these tran swirls all over him. He's a common just like me," Vera said more connected to here and now than Floyd.

"Wow, Illustria sure does sound like an angel," Selenium smiled and held in a giggle. The look on his face clearly told her he was bitten by the love bug. "Caramel? Now you're just making me hungry Vera," she joked. Her tail swayed around in the air, as she thought about Sysyphus. A daydreaming expression slipped its way on her face. But she quickly pulled out of it. "Kodiak sounds sweet and his markings and colours sure do back that up. You two would bring such adorable hatchlings into the world! I mean your dark brown colors and his light caramel; it's like chocolate and caramel!"

"That sounds a little like and ice cream sundae," she said with a little laugh, "I bet if I tell Kodiak you said that he'd joke about it from then on"

Selenium smiled, "It does!" Her gaze searched around the room and stopped on Floyd. He looked like he was still in his reverie. "He'd probably never let me live it down," she laughed lightly, turning her attention back to Vera. "Is he okay? He looks a little out of it," Selenium looked back at Floyd. "I mean being lovestruck can do things to ya, but he looks like cupid got him good," she said seriously, all joking put aside.

Floyd snapped out of his daze, "Oh excuse me, didn't meant to wander like that . I was just thinking... hmm well never mind what I was thinking. Sorry I even forgot to invite you two to sit down. Go ahead and make yourselves comfortable. Would you like a cup of tea?" He was clearly embarrassed by his wandering mind although it was quite common in most male sandpainters.
"Oh don't worry about it Floyd," said Vera taking a seat on a fur pillow, "but tea does sound quite wonderful."

Selenium gave a small laugh, "Don't worry about it. I've done that many a time," her cheeks turned red again. She had to start thinking about what she was saying before she said it. "I mean, other than daydreaming about Sysyphus. My friends, they can catch me daydreaming about my home, because well . . . They annoy me sometimes, and my home is the best escape I can think about. I just recently moved out of my cavern in the Canyon. All of my two legs' Painters have their homes made throughout a series of tunnels that open up to rooms. I got tired of it," Selenium started to babble and caught herself before she said anything else. "Oops, sorry," she said with a sheepish smile, "Tea sounds wonderful!"

Floyd poured some tea from a sand colored teapot , "I make this myself. It's a combination of jasmine tea and green tea."
"It smells wonderful," said Vera taking a large whiff.

Selenium took in the scent with a deep inhale, then let it out as she exhaled. "Wow, it does smell wonderful," she smiled sleepily. After flying through the storm, she was so caught up with talking to the two, she hadn't noticed how sore her wings and body were. "That storm sure was killer, it sounds like it's still going too," she said taking a sip of the tea. Thunder boomed overhead. Selenium could just imagine the lightning strikign down after.

"I better cover the flight entrance," he said as he swaggered over to the top entrance. And pulled some kind of of thick tarp over it, "I don't want it to flood in here, that would never do." He sat down and poured himself a cup.
Vera took a sip, "Selenium would you like some tea cake with your tea? Or maybe some small sandwiches.?"

"That'd be terrible if that happened," she said moving to a small couch and plopping down. Selenium was careful not to spill her tea, as she steadied it in a firm grip of her tail. "Especially after you've done so much to make it look fantastic," she set her cup of tea down on a flat rock. "I'll have what you're having. Thank you Vera."

"I have some buttered english muffins, would you like that?" Vera said as Floyd took over a tray. There was a a large boom that shock the whole room. Vera shivered, "I'm glad we are out of that. In a place that is warm and dry." It began to pour outside.
Floyd began to tend the fire in his fire pit.

"Sure. They sound wonderful," Selenium smiled and took one from the tray. She shivered along with Vera and nodded, "I don't even want to think what would've happened if we didn't get here in time. If it was only thunder, I'd be all right out there, but the rain and everything else is too much for me to handle." She took a small sip of her tea and clamed her nerves. "Being soaked isn't a favorite pass time of mine either," Selenium joked with a small humorous smile, trying to lighten things up.

"Yes they are," said Floyd with a grin. He began to curl up into a little ball.

Selenium nodded in agreement. "You don't mind if we stay the night here? I'm not sure if the storm is going to pass soon," she said over a loud boom of thunder.
