Securing an arm around her waist to make supporting her easier, Zhane helped Nani down the stairs to the couch.

"It wasn't TOO noteworthy." he continued at last. "As I was saying, Seiji and I had a talk about what its going to mean for him to be a big brother, and then he wanted to know where babies came from, so we took a walk to the library and rented a movie about it. He seemed to take it all right."

His words were careful, hoping it wasn't something he'd overstepped his bounds on when he and Nani weren't even married yet.

Zhane cast a look down the vacant hallway in the direction the children had disappeared in as he planted himself on the couch beside Tinania.

"I think we're okay now." he ventured at last, smiling a bit. "If not okay, at least better than we were a few hours ago."

A hand ventured over to place itself lightly on the swell of her stomach. "Aside from worn out, how're YOU doing, though?" the ijiuo inquired gently.

Reaching past her to grab up and arrange a throw pillow against the arm of the sofa so that she could lay back. he nodded. "I can imagine." he sympathized. "I think if I had to sleep on my back or side for nine months, I'd go nuts."

He hesitated before he spoke again. "....we really should think about breaking out the baby book soon and settling on a couple of names."

He scooted in a bit, redirecting her legs so that they were guided safely over his lap, allowing him to sit closer to her. "Wasn't sure if you felt like beating your head against it right now, is all." he told her, giving her a grin as fingertips reached out to comb stray blonde curls away from her face.

"I'm not very good at names." he admitted as he did so. "Ken gave me endless hell when I named Lexi. He said it sounded like I just took 'sexy' and threw some extra letters in it." He wrinkled up his nose a bit in distaste at the remembrance. ".....and of course, by then, it was a little late to change it since it had already stuck."

"Renee's nice." he put in, again settling a hand on her stomach, feeling the occasional fluttering within. "Not one you hear too often" Zhane furrowed his brow in thought for a moment and then smirked.

"...can't say I like Markel though. Sounds a little like a cartoon character."

....though it wasn't fair to criticize without offering any choices of his own. "Let's see....I kinda like the name Haille for a girl. Maybe Lisey. For a boy...." he paused, narrowing his eyes in thought. "....Dylan maybe?" Green eyes met her own. "I'll tell you the truth, I got hung up on Tremaine for a little while, but it sounded too....I dunno. Too much like a name you'd come home from school with a wedgie for."

His eyes rolled back in thought. "I like how in the movies, there's always that magical moment where the mother looks into her newborn's eyes and knows exactly what she's going to name it. Like nobody ever sits down and thinks about these things."

His gaze fell back to her stomach thoughtfully. "So we've got a troublemaker on our hands, hmm...?" His answer was a small kick to the bottom of his palm. "....and a soccer player, maybe." he added with a laugh.

At this, his wings tensed on his back, the membrane rattling a bit with the force of his shudder. Ugh.... no thank you.

"As theraputic as it might be to be able to yell my dad's name for scribbling on the walls or to get down off the roof, I'll have to give that one a pass." he told her, giving her side a playful poke.
