Goosie steadied herself by gripping his arms, a little wobbly as she got used to standing again.
"I am! Gosh, it feels like it's been a while since I had anything to eat..." She looked around, sliding her arms away from his and absently fussing with her hair.

*He strode over to where he had set out the food, and held his arm out and down, inviting her to sit with him*

She followed after him absently, still taking in all of the scenery. When she looked at the picnic, she lit up immediately.
"Ooh! So we really do get a picnic!" Goosie hurried over, adjusting her skirt accordingly before she took a seat close by, "You didn't have to, though. But thank you!"
She beamed at Doctor MK, never ceasing to be doubly touched by the kind gestures he made. Even though she had to work very hard for him, and sometimes the experiments were scary, it always seemed to feel fine because she was with him, and he'd always kept her safe from real harm in the past.

*He took a seat opposite her and picked out a simple sandwich from the basket. The choice of food for himself was quite an easy one, for he very much appreciated a good sandwich any day of the week*
Funny how food seems to hold different taste when you can feel the sun and wind, ne?

"Yeah," She said, looking around once more. She honestly couldn't remember why she didn't mind missing out on this. Being here again felt so great. But, she reminded herself, so does working with Doctor MK. Content with that answer, she turned back to him.
Goosie peeked over, examining the basket's contents and then squealing with glee. There were all kinds of things that she loved, eclairs and cookies and doughnuts and, what had her most excited, custard fruit tarts, and sprinkly strawberry cupcakes!
For a moment, she seemed beyond words, only managing to squeal again as she grabbed one of the tarts and tried it.
"Mm!" She tried to exclaim as she devoured it, "Iht's sho yhummy! Thahnk yhoo!"

She swallowed quickly, wiping her mouth and looking surprised.
"A birdy? You mean like an experiment?" She asked, never knowing him to keep many natural pets.

Well... not by intent, though I was thinking a songbird. One we'd have to train, or keep in the back during projects, but yes, a bird.

This seemed to excite her a lot.
"Wow, that would be so nice! We could listen to it singing and I could let it ride on my shoulder and, and like, fun stuff!"
Goosie imagined it more and more and felt even happier. She spied a cupcake and picked it up, offering it to him.
"Here, I want to share!"

Oh... OH. You were thinking of... Raven. Sorry about that, I was just thinking about getting a little more life down in the lower levels. The quiet is nice, but maybe too quiet some days.
*He finished up his sandwich finally, and relaxed there, leaning backward on his hands*

She continued helping herself to treats, mulling over the possibility of a raven. It seemed almost like having one would goad on the scary lady, but if he thought it was safe, she wasn't one to argue.
After a few more minutes, Goosie decided to take a break from eating and flopped back on the blanket, closing her eyes for a minute and listening to the breeze as it tossed the leaves around. She smiled, lost in relaxation.
