They grinned down at her like a pair of cheshire cats, lazing on their respect branches and waving goodbye.
She was pretty fun to hang out with, and doing so behind Valeriu's back? Triple the fun.
"Okay!"
"Be safe!"
"Look both ways before crossing the street!"
"Don't look into the sun!"
"What kind of advice was that, Seamus?"
"General, good advice!"
"Right," Murphy said after a pause, before directing his attention back down to the once-blonde girl.
"You remember how to get home, right?"
They both grinned wider, and pointed due west.
"Three blocks that way!" they chimed, helpfully.

“Wait-- what?” She had gotten there on the bike… And while she didn’t want to, she just kinda assumed that they’d take her back, too. “I gotta walk? Okay, fine.”
But… She was an adult! She could do this! Adults walked by themselves all the time! Heck, even before she had grown, before she was a god, she had roamed the streets in her free time like it was no problem! She could do this!
Only babies were scared to walk by themselves anyway! It was still afternoon, she’d be fine!
“I know how to get home!” She stamped her foot angrily, even though she really didn’t understand how far a ‘block’ was exactly, she’d just go in the direction they had pointed until things got familiar. No worries about distance-- she was too stubborn and too stupid to think of asking for their help.
Even if it took her all night, she’d make it, somehow!
Tepin darted past the metallic trees, hands wrapping around them for an occasional spin around the base. When she reached the end of the ‘forest’, she turned, waving enthusiastically (After all, she had to appear like she knew the way!).
“ ‘Kay! I’m going now! Thanks for lunch!!” Her hands gripped the bars of the fire escape and she pulled herself over, starting down the steps before remembering and shouting loudly, “Byyyyyyyyyyyyye!!!”
She’d just run, and she’d get home in no time!
