The ball of plastic and metal falls to Psyche's hand one more time. Then it vanishes. In its place is now a large piece of jerky. She appreciatively sniffs the meat. Venison! Eyes closed in an expression of happiness, Psyche begins to slowly chew on the deer jerky. Though it may not be apparent, Psyche is still paying close attention. But she's hungry.

Lina tilted her head back and sniffed a few times before grinning. She definitely liked her cousin's style.
Lina raised her hand and started thinking it through. In her hand she began releasing some spiritual energy before she started trying to form it into something. Her first attempt fizzled, as did the next few, each looking like they were trying to mimic the point of impact of her rai techniques.
She stopped and scratched her chin for a moment, the way those attacks worked it felt like they'd burn something at least, but there was a small window and it felt like a close combat technique more then then something useful at range.

Reeve runs a hand through his hair, shrugging slightly.
"Hmm...My brain's been too fuzzy since...everything... to make much sense of this."

She shrugged.
"I'd almost feel insulted if anything fixed it easilly given how long I've dealt with the full force of the technique usually coming close to taking my own arm off... Though I'd say a third of my techniques can pull that bit in some way or another."

Reeve holds his hand out, looking at the ragged scar that now runs down his wrist and between the first two fingers of his hand.
"Heh, it seems like to even be efficient anymore you have to straddle the line between harming the foe and yourself."

"I need to figure out some techniques.... and we still have to get your training in just in case Neko's ready for using Dalcon."

Reeve cocks an eyebrow.
"Bunshin daikawhatnow?"
Part of that he was familiar with, bunshin jutsu being rather basic in the GNA arsenal, but the daibakuha was all new.
He grows a little more tense as Dalcon is mentioned.
"That prospect is beyond frightening to me."

"Well, I brushed a few places I shouldn't have when Neko still had the reigns. It's something like a solid clone, but it detonates all it's energy when it releases, I can't say if it's initiated or just when it bursts."
She looked thoughtful.
"It's not exactly something I haven't heard of before. I mean I know similar techniques that always pop into my mind when things really get bad. But it's not something I should talk about anyway... Sorry"
She turned her head towards the direction of the Rai dojo. Her eyes seemed to show she had spaced out. She shook her head to clear it after that.
"We'll probably be able to return sometime soon, I'd give it a while longer just in case."

"We might check where the mech was stored or repaired when you controlled it. If he was rushing the reconstruction it might mean he'd be sloppy and try to use existing facilities. If the ship must go to ground then burn the ground."

I'll be on the ground one way or another, the R2's the only heavy armor left from Sarket, it's the only thing I know he wouldn't be able to duplicate or take over. Though the unit's useless to me as well... Damn VI is a sexist pig and hard wired into the systems."

"I'll be pulling out whatever tricks I can for the fight when we start it. I have far too much that I can't bring to bear given we need to rescue at least one from the mess. And the risk of using that equipment for precision then becomes the problem of Neko's mind recreating it."

Lina, before you came, the first time the GNA got burned down, we evacuated to a connected mass of service tunnels under the Academy. It stretched under here but it snaked out for miles and miles. If Neko wanted to use existing facilities, he'd likely use that place as it's proven defensible and hidden before...and the only one left that remembers them is me, who he had under his thumb..."
