He then looked to Aoi and Seiko giving them botha nod. His gaze found itts way to Kira-soutaichou. "I believe Aoi-Taichou's Idea is great. I would also like to accompany her if possible. I'm in need of a good mission. I feel I havent been of much help. Besides im sure Seiko and Orphius are able enough to look after the squads until we can have a definate return from the Human world. What do you think Kira-sama?"

"The serum was used before." She calmly but a little pissed, it was true since she read the archives. When Ishida and Renji were in grave trouble under the Ninth Espada, Mayuri arrived then offered them the serum to help them boost their reiatsu.
"Don't fret, we are not taking a step to abuse power. It is something we can use in the future, if no one wishes to use it then don't. No one is forcing you." She closed her eyes, placing her hand on the table.

"I will help Aoi-Taichou with selecting the shinigami who shall go, though I know very little of those who are currently enlisted in the Gotei." Hitsugaya replied to Kira, now sounding annoyed with the Soutaichou. "As for this little superhuman serum, I think you all are foolish for resorting to such tactics." The short shinigami turned away from those sitting at the table and started to head towards the door. "Keep this in mind.... Juunibantai-Taichou. All of our bodies are different, thus they will react different to any type of drug. If it is safe for one person, it may not be safe for the next." Toshiro glanced towards her, only turning his head very little in her direction. "I wouldn't trust anything that had anything to do with Mayuri. Don't make me remind you that there is a reason he is not here." He gave everyone a slight bow, than exited the room. The temperature in the room now starting to rise because of his departure.

She sulked as Hitsugaya exited, feeling a little bit odd for the sudden change of temperature. She scoffed then glanced back at the juunibantai taichou.

Orphius's eyes widdened, "C...Captain..." He starmered. He couldn't believe his captain recominded him for a trial run to being head of squad 7 until his return even after the fact his spirit was trying to take over.

Aoi stood straight and thought a moment. "It seems to be a good idea, however I can't honestly say I do not agree with Hitsugaya-san somewhat." she said, closing her golden eyes as she spoke. "While it may be useful in other situations, I cannot condone using it on a trip to the World of the Living, whereas, as we will most likely send some powerful Shinigami, it would not be wise to raise their reiatsu further, for their current reishi is enough to warrant a seal so that they do not corrupt anything there..." she paused, opening her golden eyes to look around the room.

Mikoto let out and exasperated sigh. Though on the inside, she was extremely pissed. How dare they compare her formula to... to Mayuri?! She so badly wanted to run after the former Juubantai taichou and spank him like the chibi he was! Mikoto was going to definitely need some sake after this meeting.
"Fine, fine," she finally said. "Ix-nay on the serum then, ne? I do have another invention of sorts that was completed and already given a small test run just a few days ago."
Hopefully, they won't shoot this down, she thought.
"While trying to figure out a new way of surveillance, I've developed somewhat of a video prescription that I can have embedded into glasses and contact lenses that streams live video feeds directly to a screen receiver in my lab," she explained. "If we equip those going on this mission with these, we can gather enough data on what exactly is happening in the Transient World. Furthermore, it'll be a more accurate way of researching so that I'll be able to get something created and tested, ensuring that it will succeed against any attacks from Aizen or his underlings."
Mikoto looked around the room at the Captains and Vice-Captains, then to the soutaichou himself. Her eyes held the words, 'What do you think?'

"Glasses?" She imagined herself wearing one, she just hoped she looks okay with it. "I think it's a great idea! Having a gadget that can capture events. As the captain of the central intelligence division, it will be a great help to gather data for the archives. " She said, nodding at the her friend.

If I'm allowed on this missionyou Will be in charge of the nanabantai until my return." He refocused his attention on Aoi and the others.__ Seiko stood proud behind his captain, she handt chosen to punish him. He was surprised though that Natsuko was volunteering for this mission. He'd always known Natsuko to be a lazy bum. I wonder whats his motive.." he said to himself silently.

Yuki didn't say anything else and she really didn't plan to unless someone addressed her or a topic she had an opinion on came up. She listened to the meeting intently.

*jon listened to the arguments and finally said* I think we should just send 2 lieutenants and a few underseats to the world of the living and keep an eye on things so everything doesn't get out of hand *jon tapped the ash off of his cig*
