Noel realized just exactly who he had been battling, and all anger drained from him.. He couldn't believe that he had done such a thing... His anger caused him to act so carelessly, and made him attack someone so young..
This had to end now.. He didn't want to cause anymore pain. With a small, mist ball, he threw it at the Twilf's chest, hoping that it would knock her out, so they could leave this place..

Rylia blinked a couple of times, tired from the battle. Her attack had missed again. She looked at her opponent and realized that their eyes had changed. They were kinder, softer now. But even though this had come up, they needed to finish the battle they had started to leave this place. Her opponent must have known that as well, which was why he sent out yet another attack.
Rylia concentrated and dodged this attack with whatever strength she had left. She came to a stop and turned towards him, sending out a couple f dark energy balls from the little bit of darkness surrounding her.

The little one just wouldn't give up.. But she, too, seemed to know this needed to end. Noel looked at her sadly, and used a nother small mist ball aimed at her neck.

Rylia's attack had missed yet again, btu she didn't feel as bad now about anything, even if she was in pain. She watched as her opponent fired another attack at her. She didn't have the time or power to dodge it, but she did make a last ditch effort to see if she could land a least...another attack. Quickly summoning as much darkness as could, she carved it in the shape of small heart and sent it towards her opponent, getting hit in the process.
It was over this time as she fell back onto her back, laying on the ground, with no strength left. Before she was to pass out, she whispered a single word, practically inaudible.
"sorry...."

Noel saw the twilf fall, as he too was hit, but by a weak attack. Now that the gates were open once more, he rushed to her side, cradling her gently. He was ashamed of what he had done... Tears began to cry, using what strength he had left to somewhat heal the little one, then carried her out of the dungeon, hoping that he wouldn't have to fight again....
The End.

Far off in one of the distant rooms of the dungeon, a golden light flickers against a giant slab of stone in the Hall of Warriors. Lines of hot fire graze against that stone, sparking and lacing fire to letters and words. As the embers die down, and the fiery light vanishes, two names are left etched into the stone slab.Congrats Cooro the Mute Wolf!
