hey, 1313.EXE, the Type 1 thread was for specifically type 1 players and decklists. But whatever.
Here's my current incarnation of Suicide Black (not much suicide to it, honestly).
Sui Black type 1.5

1 Volrath's Stronghold

Creatures: 19
4 Hypnotic Specter
4 Order of the Ebon Hand (ron spencer artwork)
4 Carnophage
2 Akuta, Born of Ash
3 Ravenous Rats
2 Phyrexian Negator
Spells: 23
4 Dark Ritual
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Diabolic Edict
2 Smother
3 Rend Flesh
2 Contagion
No sideboard as of yet.
The deck is designed to get lots of efficient, drawback-ridden creatures on the field quick using Lake of the Dead and Dark Rituals. Usually the drawbacks to the creatures are things like Phyrexian Negator's sacrifice permanents drawback, or Carnophage's pay 1 life every turn. The rest of this deck is hand disruption and creature kill, enabling you to clear the board for your threats. Hippy Spector is the star, being a 2/2 flyer for 3 that makes the opponent RANDOMLY discard cards. I would include the Rack, but that actually slows the deck down rather than speed it up.

I know 'wtf are that many dragons doing in it eek ' i like them scream good enough
but it slow and my artifact are all i could think of at the time.

I was thinking about building a dragon deck, actually. Mine would be mono red, but here's what it would look like.
Land: 20
16 Mountain
4 Blinkmoth Nexus
Creatures: 17
3 Rathi Dragon
3 Covetous Dragon
4 Furnace Welp
3 Shivan Dragon
4 Fledgling Dragon
Mana Accel: 16
4 Talisman of Impulse
4 Chrome Mox
4 Desparate Ritual
4 Seething Song
Other: 8
4 Magma Jet
3 Shock
The deck can easily cast any of these dragons, save maybe Covetous Dragon, on turn 2 or 3. A good example of my hands are:
Turn 1: Land, Mox, Talisman
Turn 2: Land, Seething Song, Covetous, (or Shivan, or Rathi, or etc etc).
The deck can stall pretty bad (all accel, no dragon), but typically it goes off very consistently.

I hate the current Beacon Green decks, but I suppose you have to have them built that way... I just don't like playing Swords of Fire/Ice and Jitte in green. But I suppose that's the only way TO play green nowadays.
