Riome watched her, looking grumpy, but when she smiled, he couldn't help by smile a little as well. It was so pretty. He sighed and sat up straighter, shrugging one shoulder, "Maybe just a little." He didn't understand what she was doing, but he wouldn't ask questions.
"Its a deal then!" Liluye grinned, wading out a little further, until she could fold her legs up, and start floating on the surface, bobbing with the waves.

"Say..." she looked at him, this time genuinely concerned. "Do you know the way home from here? It's probably getting dark now..." Palladia didn't want to walk home alone, especially in the dark when there were suspicious men around.
Riina looked at Liluye in awe. She couldn't float on the surface could she? The foxtaur shrugged, trying to float on the surface, her green legs tucked in, and her tail straight up in the air.

"I know the way to my home," he frowned slightly, then smiled, "I'll walk you home, if you like," all signs of jealousy seem to have faded from him at that. Making sure she got home alright was important.
Liluye watched her, smiling, "Does it work?" She had never seen a taur try to float before, she didn't know if they could.

"Oh, will you?" she said, her eyes hopeful, "It would be most wonderful if you could walk me home." Palladia looked at him, looking bashful, "If its too far I don't mind staying at your place for the night..."
"Well...its salt water so I should float...?" she said nervously as she stay half-submerged in the water. Thankfully the water was warm so Riina wasn't shivering and panicking.

Riome blinked, then looked thoughtful, "Well...if its too far out of the way, you're welcome to stay over. Where abouts do you live?" He was surprised by this, but obviously didn't mind having her there. He would rather like it, actually.
Liluye tilted her head, looking confused, "Salty water makes you float?" she'd never tried to float in fresh water...maybe it was true!

"Um. I live on the outskirts of town. Not too far, but a good distance away." Palladia looked around her stomach churning in hunger, "When's our food coming?" she asked, placing a hand on her stomach, "I'm getting really hungry." the last part came out with an impatient tone, the innocence act starting to crumble.
"Well...I'm not sure if its true...but that's what my father told me." Riina looked at the water, "I guess its kinda true because I am floating, but I'm also kind sinking at the same time."

"It should be here pretty quick," he said, glancing around for a moment, "But I'm not entirely sure which one of us is closer..." he went silent, looking thoughtful, then someone appeared with their food and set it down infront of them. Riome paid for it, then turned to his potatoes happily.
Liluye made a confused noise, floating over to her, "You're floating, but you're sinking?" she tilted her head, leaning to the side to try and look to figure out what she meant.

Palladia nibbled on the food daintly, trying hard to not show how hungry she actually was. For such a high price, it did taste good. She gave a curt nod of approval before taking small bites.
Riina laughed aloud, "I'm confused myself. It's weird you know. Like. I can feel myself sinking," she gestured to the water around her, "But I'm not hitting the ground..." scratching at her head she sighed, "All this thinking is making my brain hurt."

Riome chuckled, watching her for a moment, before digging in. He was going through them pretty quickly, though it wasn't a surprise. He was a big and built guy, and he loved his food. Within two or three minutes at least half the plate was empty.
Liluye laughed, grinned and ruffling her feathers a little, "Oh well! It doesn't matter why, just as long as you don't sink. That would be bad."

She continued to eat, enjoying the meal. Palladia peered at Riome's plate, not surprised by his appetite. "If your still hungry, your more than welcome to share with me..." she pushed the untouched portion of the meal towards him.
"Oh!" Riina splashed around, her paws hitting the wet sand clumsily, "I wanna see you catch fish with your talons!" her tail sagged down, the fur soaked wet.

Riome smiled gratefully, and took a bit, popping it in his mouth, and swallowing before he thanked her with a grin. The boy sure did love his food, that much was certain. "Enjoying your dinner?" He asked, taking a little more.
Liluye blinked, looking surprised, then grinned, "You got it!" She seemed to almost stand up on the water, as she opened her wings, and beat them a few times to get up into the air. She swooped for a moment then soared way up, circling slowly with her wings outstretched. She scanned the water, eyes flicking this way and that, until she caught sight of a quick flash beneath the surface of the water, and she dove suddenly, wings tucked tight against her body. She straightened out completely, hair flying behind her for the few seconds it took for her to hit, and disappear under the water. A few moments later, with a big splash, she came shooting out again, grinning, and holding in her talons a fish that was at least three feet long.

Palladia nodded, "Much better than I expected. And its very filling." she motioned to his dish, "I can see you were pretty hungry too." she smiled, "I'm not surprised. A strong man like you would eat a lot."
Riina stared at Liluye with bated breath. She'd seen the harpy fly, but it never ceased to amaze her. Liluye was so graceful in the air, it was like she was dancing with the wind. The foxtaur's eyes went big, staring at the fish her mouth wide open.
"Th-that's such a big fish!" she exclaimed. It would also be a pretty filling meal between the both of them too. "Are we gonna eat it?"

Riome blushed lightly, and grinned, swallowing then giving a one-shouldered shrug, "Yeah, well, I guess I do eat a lot." he patted his stomach, "Got a lot to feed." He was resisting the urge to flex his biceps subtley.
Liluye laughed and swooped towards the beach, going low, "Of course!" she dropped it on a relatively flat rock, then landed and ruffled her feathers, that poofed up.

Palladia smiled sweetly, pushing the plate towards him, "Have some more then. I think you need it more than I do." She wondered exactly what she was doing. Really, this whole meal had been about getting her revenge but it was turning out to be a pretty fun dinner. Even she had to admit that.
Maybe she should just get him drunk with ale and leave him here.
At once, Riina ran out of the water as best she could without her paws sinking in the wet sand. Upon reaching dry land, she scrambled her way to the rock, her tail fluffing up proudly. Kneeling down, she poked at the fish, admiring the size and the plumpness. "A feast we shall have!" she said, clinging to Liluye. "How should we cook this?"
