Rory bit her lip at some of the antics that were going on, especially as Iggy's condom went flying through the air and the banana that went shooting over her head. Poor poor Wisp. She'd never recover from this class.
Chris was ready to spring out of the door the moment the bell rang and she knew it. He'd probably out race her! And Antony? He was just in a bad mood.
Then a new qustion and she finished condomizing her banana as she listened.

Condoms were now getting fired all around the class, mainly by Jace; Casca was doggedly trying to open a new one, just to find he ripped that one too. Ms. Lindy ignored all the chaos and leant forward on her stool, a slightly dreamy look coming over her face as she considered it.
"I think it's about how comfortable you feel with them," she said. "Can you see them wanting to be with you afterwards, check if you're okay? Will stand around with you in your underwear making post-sex munchies? If you're caught by your parents, will that person stick around and honestly face the music without resenting anyone? Do you like them?"
Condoms were still flying around. The bell rang. "I want no condoms left on the floor," she said, "hey, Chris, no running in the classroom! -- "
Jace kept on, sitting next to Manny, unpeeling a condom and stretching it out to see how far the plastic would go before it snapped. She did not look the teacher in the eye.

Chris was gone before she could finish that statement. It wasn't even really a run, it was more like two lunges and a twist to get out the door and away from this hell. He moved like a beast at the best of times, but this could only be called...
Running away with his tail between his legs.
Antony just sat there, his hands resting on his stomach, his eyes on Jace. He looked perfectly calm, until you noticed how he was slightly transparent.
But dammit all, the last person he wanted overseeing this argument (he was honest to himself, at least) was Loony Lindy.

Rory sighed, looking at the 'dust trail' Chris left behind him. She got up off the ground and stretched since she had been sitting there the whole time and only got up to get her bananas and 'rubbers'.
Then she gave Antony a sympathetic look. He had to stay here -after- the class. Good grief! She looked to the two on the couch. "Alright, this one's over. You're going to be okay, Wisp?" she asked with a grin, lightly teasing her friend for the laughs. "I don't think Barbies' should have coats made out of those, but maybe you can find something with a similar effect at the store."

Manny gave a sympathetic look to Jace as she maneuvered herself to her feet. "Videotape it if you kill him," she whispered, starting to walk out. After a couple steps she turned back, "Call me sometime okay?" She flashed a smile and put her supplies in the trash, levering her bag up onto her left shoulder. She barely had to use her cane for just walking now but she did, remembering that the stiffness wasn't exactly a pleasant feeling. This hadn't been so horrible.

Delilah only briefly glanced at Jace and Antony as she gathered her things and stood, smoothing down her jean skirt. "Thank you, Ms. Lindy," she said politely. "This was... interesting." Then she started towards the door. She paused suddenly, though, and looked over her shoulder at the two again. "Good luck" she mouthed with a faint smile. Then she quickened her pace, beelining after Manuela. "Manuela? Wait up."
"Geez." Ignacio gave his friends a mournful look. "I'm sorry, guys. I'll wait outside for you, okay? It'll be cool. Lindy's not gonna, y'know, do capital punishment." With that odd reassurance, Iggy picked up his stuff and headed out.

Wisp had only just started to realise that something was, in fact, genuinely up: she had put the Antony and Jace down to being -- Antony and Jace, and although her sister swatted at her as she passed by with Ophelia in tow, Rory as part of the entourage. All thoughts of Barbie raincoats and even Iggy were forgotten: her blue eyes squinched up in sympathy, and she said "You can have the brownie for my lunch," before her sister swatted at her again (this time affectionately, she was pretty sure). And then -- because she knew her sister hated humiliation -- she left.
Her redheaded sister nodded vaguely at Iggy,at least partly caught up with the fact that Manuela had somehow turned out really cool when she'd never noticed that before -- there'd been all the stuff with her leg and her being sick and the Harper bullshit, except that the dark-haired girl had actually turned out vaguely cool. She'd flashed her the v-sign as she'd left. Crazy s**t. Manuela was decent.
The health teacher crooked her finger at both Antony and Jace and waited for the others to leave. When they had, and when the door had been closed with a prisoner's clang! behind them (her son included: he'd escaped pretty soon after Chris) she looked at them both. Her gaze was golden-eyed and strangely somber: and then Ms. Lindy said, "This is only my business in that it is impeding you two working here, and I don't like unresolved issues. They fester. So what I am going to do is go and get a cup of tea from the staffroom, and I want you to use this room to talk about the issue and solutions to keep it from coming into your school lives, and when I come back -- I'll be about five minutes -- if you want me to mediate, I will. If you don't, I won't. But I want some kind of resolution, got it?"
She then did exactly as she had promised -- picked herself up, jangly bracelets and homemade skirt and all, and left.

Manny waited a couple doors down for Delilah, not wanting to seem like she was eavesdropping. She smiled and shifted her weight between her feet as the other girl caught up to her. "Been a while Del. You grew uh, out, good," she laughed, gesturing to the chest area. Awesome start. "What's up?"

Delilah smiled, clearly not minding the reference to her chest. She absently toyed with a loose bit of hair and studied the other girl. "Nothing except we haven't seen in each other in forever," she answered. She paused as if considering something heavy. Then she nodded. "Would you like to do something sometime?"

Manny looked like she was thinking for a moment, then cracked a smile, "Absolutely, it's nice to get out of the church once in a while." She gestured forward as she started to make her way toward the front of the school. There were a couple minutes before the bus would be there so they could talk some. "What did you have in mind?" she asked curiously.

Delilah's hand tangled more firmly in the strap over her shoulder, backpack hanging heavy against her shoulderblades, and she matched her steps to Manuela's. "I don't know. Do you still like shopping?"

"Absolutely," Manny laughed, "Haven't gotten much of a chance too lately, shopping with my mom is a little well, embarrassing." Estelle had some very strong views on fashion, conflicting almost one hundred percent of the time with her daughter's. "This weekend maybe?" she suggested, pulling open the heavy front door.

"Perfect." Manuela's suggestion was met with a bright smile as Delilah reached forward to hold the door as she followed. "I'll see you in the food court at noon." She waved then and skipped ahead, clearly planning to walk home in the warm sunshine.

Kisala'd grabbed the banana and one of the condoms, but was pretty much in the dark as far as what to do with them. Sure, she'd been -told- what sex was and condoms had been briefly mentioned and such, but she'd never actually seen one and only had the most vague idea of what to do with one. And, considering she didn't have the parts required...well, she supposed that must be what the banana was for. Was it really shaped like that? Did she really want to -know-?
She fiddled with the banana and the package a bit, and looked around at the others, all of whom seemed to have a little more experience in the matter. Copying what she saw, she opened the package, taking the little rubber bit out.
Still not impressed.
Then thing started going crazy and she flung hers out with the others, not particularly wanting to try playing with it. And thankfully after a few minutes, the bell rang. She gathered her stuff (including the condom she'd looosed, which she tossed in the trash) and headed out, swearing she'd study up on this stuff for next time so she could ask better questions, because NASA depended on getting good grades, even in classes she wasn't that interested in.
