'Ello all! I'm Chickeloo and soo can not wait for the new season to start.. But because it doesn't begin for another three hours in my time zone (Unlike my lucky peer below)... I'll have to get off the computer so not to spoil it for myself.

Hiya, another newbie here!
I'm laura_bill, i'm 26 and have been watching HIMYM since around 2006 when I caught 'The Pineapple Incident' on tv in a hotel in Canada. Unfortunately i'm in the UK so it's awkward to find episodes as they still only have season 1 available on DVD over here!
Still I manage and am pretty much up to date.
My favourite character is Barney, but I love Lily and Marshall as well, they make such a cute couple.

I'm from the US so forgive me if this seems stupid, but have you tried the ABC website for episodes? They generally load them for viewing the day after air. smile

a panda epidemic - yeah, unfortunately all the US network websites have a block on them - you can't access full episodes from outside the US. Which is a shame because it means you have to wait until an English station picks them up - or find somewhat questionably means of obtaining them!
You'd think that they'd want as many people as possible to watch the shows - I guess it's something to do with rights. I don't really understand the legal stuff behind it.
I remember when Buffy was airing - I was such a huge fan I couldn't wait a year to find out what happened so I had to find transcripts online!

Hey all.
the name's summer, and i've been watching HIMYM since it first aired in australia, never missing an episode. rofl i just love it so much. i've also collected the dvd season sets and i love to watch them over again and again.
but since i live in australia, i'm behind on the new season 5 episodes crying - so i'm not reading the comments on the new episodes yet, otherwise it'll spoil the stories sweatdrop .
anywayz, i think i'll go away and watch the previous seasons again before the season 5 premieres. i'll be watching out for the new episodes ninja .

Hello everyone!
My name is Celestine and I've just joined. I'm a high schooler and I've been watching HIMYM since season one. I'm a HUGE fan of the entire show, but I started watching because of Neil Patrick Harris, so I'm totally biased towards the Legendary Barney Stinson. I am a full supporter of letting him sing on the show as often as possible, and every time he does my heart is filled with joy. mrgreen
My favorite seasons are two and three, though I still do like aspects of season five. I was a big supporter of Barney X Robin so their breakup has kind of lowered my opinion of the current episodes however... Regardless, I am still a devoted HIMYM fan. =]

I love How I Met Your Mother! Although that makes sense, being in the guild and all. At first I bought the first four seasons because of Jason Segel (and slightly for Alyson Hannigan) but by the end of the first episode, I was hooked.
It's just... simply amazing. I can't wait for season five on DVD!

Hi, I'm gabby, 21 and I've been watching the show since 2010 and I've just recently watched the last season a couple of months back. But don't worry, I won't spoil anything. I like the show because the characters' are unique and the way they we're portrayed is really great. Also, there's not a dull moment and the characters' on-screen chemistry together is as natural as real life friends.
Although to be honest, at first I thought it was just a rip-off friends. But after watching a couple of episodes (although in a way similar), the two show is distinctly different, especially the main plot.
