"Amalis watches the shop for me when I leave for trade. He's very good at it." The young boy purred, but it was a terrible purr. He was still blue and his ears were pointed. "Most think he is a dark elf....so it works for us." She looked him up and down. "That won't be a problem." Jesturing to her bedroom she went to her closet and opened the secret compartment. Handing him her weapons to hold while she slipped into her armor. Grabbing her weapondary back she strapped them on. She was intense with all of the steel.

"Ah, nicely crafted, has it seen any battles? I don't se a single scuff or scratch." Radiaas said, examining her armor. It looked new, but only didn't seem fitting for a vampire, but that was probably his own aversion to shiny metals. His own magnificent armor looked shabby besided hers, it had seen every weapon you could imagine, and others, but it held strong, made with iron, silver, and human blood, like all vampiric war tools. It was a deep black, with splashes of red across it.

"It has but I killed them first before they got me. I had to have light fitting armor for when I was an assassin." She smiled and stood prumt and ready. "Where we off to?"

"An old acquaintance of Lord Arogani, the one with The Heart, and The Fist, he's a decrepit old man, he won't put up much of a fight." Radiaas said. "He lives out beyond the forest, in some dank cave."

"Arogani'll want an audience with you, we should go see him." It was the first time Radiaas had not called him Lord, he felt dirty, as if he'd just said something foul.

Nodding she followed him out of her store. Petting Amalis goodbye the catboy meowed and purred. Radiaas lead around the markets intot eh courtyard of the castle. "We are here?"

Radiaas nodded, then glared at a guard, who opened the gates. Radiaas and Serenus walked into the main hall of Lord Arogani's manor, there armor clinking. "Ahh," Arogani said as they walked up to him, "Radiaas, you brought a volunteer for our mission?" Radiaas nodded. Arogani looked her over with a military eye, "You're a fighter? You look a bit scrawny."

She beared her teeth. Weak? I am not weak... "I am able bodied my lord." She bowed her head, even though every part of her wanted to strangle him. "I have come as an assitant to Radaais."

Arogani nodded once. "You are responsible for you're own life, if you die, it's not my, or my agents fault. Now, begone." the lord shoooed them out, outside again, radiaas turned to Serenus, "Are you sure you wanna do this?"

She nodded, "I haven't been outside of this town in a while. It will be good for me." Smiling she followed him to their next detination.

"Ok then, are you ready for a day of travel?" Radiaas was always ready for an extended mission, he carried a pouch of blood candies, and carried a tinderbox and a tonic for reversing the effects of silver.

"Yes shall we go." Serenus didn't take much with her, weapons, assorted dried food and other things. She healed fine from vampire posions but if it was her time to die it was.

The gates were huge, made of strong iron and connected to huge stone walls enclosing the city. It had been some time since she had last left the city. She was in awe of the structure of the fortress. No army could penatrate the wall. "So where are me off to?' Serenus played with the handle of her sword, running her fingers along the detail.
