I pick up my glass and take a sip,"back the death was an everyday thing and if you did not kill you died."

Picking up the glass, I swallowed the blood quickly and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand, then embarrassed for such an awful display of manners, I grabbed a napkin and apologized. Chuckling at the Seras' words I told him that it sounded an awful a lot like Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest.

I start to laugh,"back then that was not even known all we called it was living," I finish my glass of blood and call the waiter back over,"would you like more Elisia?"

"Yes please." Curious, a question popped into my head, "Do you plan on selling me or Zeilia back? Actually, rephrase that, are we only temporary?"

The waiter takes are glasses and returns to the kietchen for more blood," you two are here to stay, I didn't buy you for the reason that others buy slaves, I bought you and Zeilia for your abilitities." I turn to Zeilia and the look back at Elisia," Zeilia is special she has the power to see a persons soul and you my dear have a fire in your spirit that I have not seen in years." I lean back in my chair as the waiter returns with the blood,"plus when you two feed from me you did not die." I take the glass and take a long gulp.

"Yeah, fire," I say rolling my eyes. "So nothing I do will get me sent back to the cage?" Grabbing the glass that is set in front of me, I sip it more lady-like now. I didn't have many manners, but I wasn't a complete cave woman.

I laugh and sit the empty glass on the table," I wouldn't say nothing,but as long as you mind yourself around other masters and keep your nose clean you will not be sent back."

Zeilia sits down at the table quietly and listens to what they are saying. but she has not yet ordered her blood yet. she just sits there remebering something from her past. "zeilia come here for a moment" a man with long blonde hair sitting in a chair says. "yes master" zeilia runs over there over joyed. but back then she was just a little kid. "silly girl dont call me master ok" the man smiles at her picking her up and setting her down in his lap "you know zeilia since my daughter died you have been there for me" he pats her on the head. zeilia smiles. a few year pasted when zeilia power awakened "mast..ter....wher..e is ... your..sou..l!!" she man walks to her as she backs away. "i am sorry you have found out this way zeilia but now that you have seen that i have no soul i will have to get rid of you" the man grabs her and throws her in a cage back to the slave shop. zeilia sits there at the table with them looking down trying to forget what she just remembered.

I look across the table at Zeilia," my dear are you not hungry?" I finish off my second glass of blood and call the waiter back over,"order anything you like." The waiter bows and smiles, he holds a note pad and pin ready to write down her order.

"Is that all?" I say with a raised eyebrow. "That's not hard. That's not hard at all." Grinning broadly, I wonder what else could possibly be needed. I knew Seras knew that I had pink on my collar and therefore, I didn't trust that he wanted only a companion. Not quite believing it though, I ask yet another question, "So what exactly is me 'minding' myself around the other masters then?"

"oh sorry i was just thinking to myself" she say to him still trying to get that memory out of her head. then she looks at the waiter "may i have AB+ please" she looks down slightly "kaze" she says softly in a real quiet tone

zeilia looks up surprised that he heard her then puts a smile on her face "it is nothing" she tries to look reassuring" then she looks at elisia " so elisia do you have any special ability?" she says trying to make conversation

I close my eyes for a second as the waiter sits the glass of blood in front of Zeilia. An image flashes across my mind, my eyes snap open with a gasp as I try to find my breath. I look at Zeilia with a tear at the rim of my eye," I am sorry, when I healed you I must of gained some of your memories." I catch my breath and run my hand across my forehead.

she looks at him and smiles "it is ok that was in the past i am much better now dont worry ok " she reassures him " beside i am glad i am here now if you have not come along who knows what type of master i would have plus your soul is a kind and caring one too. so i am really happy so you dont need to worry about me ok"
