Serena had come in to do her duties and and looked around shocked. "Master Chief you have done wonders with this kitchen!" She then looked and saw he was upset. Her eyes grew big with worry, "Master Chief? Are you okay?" She then glanced over and saw Chris. She was surprised to see him there. "Chris?" her voice was a bit surprised at his sight too. However, the look on his face, made her ears fall back. Uh oh.. when he was unnerved, something wasn't right. She slowly walked over to the side of the chef. She looked very worried, "I think its time for brownies." She excused herself to hurry around the kitchen. They needed brownies. STAT!

CHOP! CHOP! CHOP!
Chef's knife was loud and... well, loud. Obviously something was upsetting the loud Audio, and what did he take it out on? Why, the camper's next meal, of course! Earlier he had managed to take most of his rage out on tomorrow morning's bagels, but... honestly? That wasn't enough.
The table itself held an image that would strike fear and nightmares into the hearts of male campers. Packages of hot dogs were waiting to literally go under the knife, undergoing a not-so-magical transformation from full-sized wienie to a lil'smokie. Heh heh... eat this, campers!
Chef Hatchet paused when the tell-tale squeak-and-slam of the Messhall's door announced the arrival of... He stared. Chris-man? And of all the things he was wearing -- "Yo." Chef grumbled-growled in greeting. "Hey Chris-man. Someone messed with mah kitchen." And he didn't sound too happy about it.
When his "assistant" came in, Chef only snarled in reply. "Ah liked it the way it was before. Someone came in and did this! They even took mah crowbar -- yew don't wanna know what ah had to do to get today's dinner out!" He grumbled, ears flicking back in annoyance. "And load the dishwasher already, Brownie Scout!"

Chris looked...lost. This...this was not the kitchen. Wawanakwa's kitchen had looked the same for -years- and this just wasn't it. His own ears flicked back the host turned confused little circles and looked around the kitchen.
"...Someone did this? Dude I swear it wasn't me!" One...he'd never use the money to fix up the kitchen, and two even if he -did- he'd be smart enough to ask the Chef-man first. He knew how much the larger Audio hated his kitchen messed with. Even Chris wasn't sadistic (or stupid) enough to try this.
As the other came in Chris merely blinked at her. Huh, the kitchen assistant. She sure was taking the position seriously. But...no time to worry about that. What the HECK was going on?!
Slowly (as he had no idea what Chef-man would do in this kind of mood) Chris padded over towards the table. The sight of hot dogs being chopped into little bits caused a bit of a 'YEEESH' face from him, but at least he didn't have to eat it.

Serena looked at Chef and merely gave him a nod. She set down all the supplies she needed for amazing brownies immediately, and began to do as he said. Hearing Chris' words she blinked a bit. Were these men crazy? More efficient equipment meant better times.. didn't they? So backwards. When she had filled and ran the dishwasher she moved like lightening to whip up the batter for brownies. Her blue hues dropped their stare to the ground as she put the brownies into the pre-heated oven. She quietly awaited the next order from the Chef.

Chef snarled and stabbed the tip of his knife into the kitchen table top, effectively holding it in place. "Ah don't know either. It smelled like grease and burnt chicken when ah came in earlier." He lashed his tail, adding, "There's no footage on the cameras, either! The damned interns made sure to cover up whoever did this!"
He sulked. There wasn't anything he could really do... except take it out on the campers as a whole, heh heh. He ignored Serena and focused on scooping up the camper's lunch tomorrow, adding it to bowls and mixing the beef, pork, and tofu dogs all together with little regard to a camper's diet plan.

Still balancing the chiapet on his head (ffff was that a beaver too?!) Chris stared at the table. He left Serena alone, not really realizing what she was up to juuuust yet. Brownies would be delicious though...
But for now, Chef-man concerned him. "They deleted it man?" Alright, who told the interns they could delete -useful- things? Chris was going to have to have a little talk with them over that one. "Awww cmon dude, it'll be okay! ...Right?" Ears still flicked back, Chris tilted his head to glance up at Chef. Noooot quite enough to send the chiapet flying, but enough to at least get a better view of the large Audio.

Being that she had remained quiet, her mind was working. She didn't know anyone outside of her team and she prayed her team had not been involved. She had JUST tried to separate her team from getting in trouble by agreeing to this nonsense, and now... her eyes snapped open.. They took his tools... Oh heavens please don't let it be. She shook her head and glanced over to the two staffers. Oh this was the last place she needed to be right now. Hearing Chris' words, she added on gently, "We can try to put it back.. or I can at least. I can't promise to make it the same, but I will try if it will help?" She didn't like seeing him upset, but she was actually trying to mask her sudden emotions of worry. 'Yes, think that I'm worried over you..' was her only thought.

"Deleted. Gone, zip! Acted like ah was crazy when ah roared at them about it!" Chef replied, banging his fist on the table and causing it to wobble. He liked his kitchen being a squeaky mess. The squeaks would tell him exactly where someone was in his kitchen, but now? Man!
And then Serena spoke up. "Put it back? Put it back?!" He snarled, "It took me two seasons to get it just right! TWO! Ah had it perfected, and now ah have to start all over again!" Wait, two seasons? This kitchen was standing around for that long?! Damn, no wonder the kitchen was in such bad shape!
Chef stopped, and stared at Chris. "...Don't tell me you refilled that chia pet thang of your's."

"Well Chef-man I can't get the footage back but I will have a talk with some interns about deleting juicy stuff before I get to even LOOK at it. Sheesh!" What were those damn interns thinking?! ....Oh right, they probably wanted some better food.
"Dude it'd take a lot of wear and tear to get it back to the way it was..." Chris whistled, glancing around again. "They sureeeeee made a mess of things...." ...Yeah these two really were a** backwards when it came to matters of the kitchen.
"Whaaaat?" Chris muttered a reply, stealing a glance back up at Chef. "'Course I did dude!....Why?"

Serena just looked at Chef, completely taking in his words. She let him be upset then thought quietly to herself, 'Two seasons..' She held back a shudder. Her voice was lowered to a whisper which Chef could choose to ignore if he wanted, "I could never put it the way you had it, Master Chief. But I would try to at least get it started again if that is how you wanted it to be." The smell of brownies was drifting in the air by now. She really just wanted to not have their foods messed with. Oh when she got back to the cabin.. Ratchet better be around. Now that she was in there she hardly wanted to have her head lost because she wanted more tools. Inside she was very unhappy with her. Hearing the words he asked, blue eyes shot a very curious glance over at the host. What the heck?

"Hrmph. You betta. The only lead ah have is from a half-pawprint on the refrigerator, and even that is a bit smudged." Chef grumbled, then began ripping open more packages of hot dogs to be chopped down.
He laid them in neat little rows and reached for a knife. "It'll take more than wear'n'tear. Considerin' how old and cheap this stuff was bought due to th'budget, this stuff could break if ah attempted to put'em back to normal. Ah'll just haveta think of somethin' new to do, y'know?"
He stopped and sniffed the air. Was that... the smell of non-camper food being cooked? Hot damn! He didn't reach for his knife, figuring that letting the hotdogs get a bit of air before he chopped them up wouldn't be a bag thing.
To Chris, he reached, stopped, and went to go wash his hands. With that accomplished (and his hands dried on a clean towel), he walked towards the host and picked up the chia pet, looking inside it then sniffing it. "Mrrrmph. Ah figured as much," he muttered, passing the chia pet back and shaking his head.

"Mmrph, maybe one of them will remember who was on the video, hehehehe..." A few well placed bribes (or threats) and he could probably find out anything. He'd have to try at least, or Chef-man would be in a funk for days. ...Actually he might be in one anyway. Who knew.
Chris sniffed at the air. ...Huh. Something smelled really good. He was about to investigate when a certain chiapet was snagged right off his head. "HEEEEEY! Give him back Chef-man!" The host whined, forgetting alllll about being in front of a camper. It didn't matter, he wanted NEEDED that chiapet back. Arms up and trying to grab it back, he was pretty flustered until Chef was finished the inspection and passed said chiapet back. "Don't DO that." Chris held it between his paws, not about to risk putting it back on his head and having a certain Chef snatch his precious chiapet back up. No no no.

Hearing the sniffs in the air, a smile crept along her face. Aha her ultimate plan for happiness to be returned was being sniffed. She gave a nod to Chef's plan. "Well whatever I can do to help, I will." Seeing Chris' reaction, her eyes just grew wide. She had to turn away from them and cover her mouth with her paws to hide and shove away her laughter. That was just hilarious! What in the world was that! She was so confused and didn't care; that was too funny. She had to take a few deep breaths to hide her laughter, before turning back around with a smile. It only took a few more minutes before she smelled the air. "Finally." Taking care to grab oven mitts this time, she reached in and grabbed the cooking brownies. They were just right, and carefully she grabbed a spatula, cutting out the brownies and putting them on two plates. She offered the plates to Chef and Chris but did not say a word. She only hoped this would be enough to keep a good spirit up.

Chef tsk'd and shook his head. "Yew shouldn't 've put it in mah reach then, man." Well, at least he didn't look like he was ready to bite off someone's head. Instead, he looked... calm. Uh oh. A calm Chef wasn't especially a good thing, was it?
Well, at least Ratchet's repairs were good for something: the brownies didn't take as long to bake as they would in any other oven. Cartoon physics!
Chef took a plate and, without checking to see if it contained any poison, laxatives, or ants he bit into it. Chewed. Swallowed. Finished it and held his plate out for more. "Damn girl!"

"Hrmph!" Chris grumbled, taking his own sniff of the chiapet before glancing back to Serena. Huh...fast baking brownies. But he wasn't going to complain!
Now, normally camper food would worry him. Afterall, that one season's cooking challenge had been rather dangerous for him... Buuuut if the Chef-man ate it with no ill side effects it had to be okay, right? Putting the chiapet back on his head (he needed his paws free, afterall), Chris nabbed his own plate and bit into a brownie. "...Mmmm, these are good dude!"
