Simon was relieved with the flirt left of her own volition, allowing himself to relax as best he could considering the circumstances. Luckily for him, it looked like all of the dreaded real-life interaction wasn't happening anywhere near him, so it wasn't getting stacked on his already heavy pile of worries. He was fit to sit there idly adjusting his bracelets, occasionally glancing up to watch what was happening.
Apparently there was a pirate, or a girl playing the role of one... he wouldn't mind trying to approach her later and see if she'd like to go on an adventure with him back home when this involuntary one was over.

"Good t' meet ye, Luna." Elli couldn't help but rub her eyes as she wasn't used to seeing such bright shades "Yer very bright." She explained. "I be Cap'n Elli. This here be Ratchet, Carmen, and Johnny."
Elli wasn't certain if they've been introduced but she figured better twice than none. Wait, no, that wasn't how that saying went.

It wasn't obvious how long Cotton had been standing there. She could've been there for only a few seconds, or a few hours. It didn't matter, either way she was completely silent, clinging onto a small teddy bear in a top hat. Her eyes darted about to all the different kinds of people, and it just made her stature sink closer to the ground. A tiny whine was heard from her, and finally she spoke:
"Where are the dancing stuffies... they promised me dancing stuffies..."

Helena walked into the messhall wondering what situation she had just walked into. She had left the dock shortly after she finished disposing of the books that no longer suited her needs and abandoned them, floating in the water. She stepped carefully, looking at the place with disgust. "I'm suppossed to be staying here?" looking about, she noticed the same same black haired dude from the dock and sighed. Thinking of ways to torture her sponsor (All involving summons), she picked her way over to and empty seat, sitting down carefully.
Flicking her ponytail, she smiled up at the other campers, trying her best to make it look natural. It's not like being distant would win her anything, let alone the grand prize.

Carmen nodded and grinned with Elli. "Hey, that sounds nice."
She started to feel tired of standing in line and waiting, but if the food wasn't going to be very good to start with. It was better to get it while it was still fresh and warm off the stove. If she was last in line, it'd had sat and look nasty.
She grinned at Luna. "Hello there. Nice to meet ya!"
Then, she noticed Noel was going to find seating. "Hey, Noel, if you're going to find a seat; you should get one for yourself, Elli, Ratchet, and Myself. I'll grab an extra tray for you." If he decided to wait with her, hopefully one of these nice girls around here would volunteer to hold a table.
Last thing Carmen wanted to do was end up in a table with anti social people. She wanted to have at least someone nice to spend time with. That's how summer camps go. You find people you can tolerate for a week or two, and you're home free.

"How about just Johnny then?" He gave Elli a good natured grin, "I'll still call you cap'n though, thats cute."
Noel smiled as he was introduced as Johnny, he really liked his middle name. It sounded more rocker esc then Noel.
"Nice to meet you Luna," He gave a slight bow of his head like he'd given the others. The brit mod ajusted his glasses closer to his eyes, her fur was very bright.
"Sounds good Carmen, I'll save us a spot~" With that the mod wandered to the cleanest looking bench and sat. This was good so that he could finally fix that one freaking hair that was out of place.

Luna grinned. "Awesome! Captain Elli. Thats a cool name!" she grinned. "And yeah... I like bright colors! I brought some dye, I could give you bright colors too later if ya want?" she replied with a giggle.
She turned her head to Ratchet, Carmen, and Johnny as the Elli introduced them one by one. Ratchet seemed to be tinkering with tools or some sort. She was immediately interested. "Wow that looks neat!" Luna was very easily amused...

Frowning slightly at the girl who mentioned dancing stuffies, Annabel quickly made a mental note not to get involved with that girl in any way, shape, or form. Christ, was she mentally retarded or something? Rolling her eyes, she turned to look for anyone else who might not be such an annoying twit.
...And, there. Sitting in the corner, looking perfectly awkward and abused by the world, was some little nerdy boy. Oh, this was absolutely perfect. She could probably work her way into his good graces with very minimal effort. Standing and stretching lightly, Annabel quietly made her way over to the nerd-boy, taking a seat a little ways away from him.
"You seem a little bit out of your element here, Tiger. How'd you get conned into this one?"

Ariel looked around the messhall with trepidation, her ears laying back further and further each time their...host...spoke. Don't complain about the food? Chef threw knives? What the hell had she signed up for, exactly...? Not for the first time, Ariel wished stealth was as effective in the real world as it was on Azeroth. Invisibility would be really handy right about now.
...Then again, there was a good reason she was resto and not feral.

Cotton's eyes continued to dart from Audio to Audio. She didn't care about food, really. It wasn't very important, as long as it was edible. She just wanted to get away from all these others. She caught Annebel's frown for a split second and jumped a few inches into the air.
That was it, she needed to sit down.
She wasn't quite in a corner, but she was far away enough from the main group, sitting on a dusty bench with her teddy bear. She continued to look nervously up at the others, but kept her eyes mostly on the floor.

Simon jumped for the second time of what was probably going to be many, as she was approached and addressed by another girl. Why was this happening all of a sudden? He was used to girls walking in the opposite direction most of the time, and as such had no idea how to handle himself.
"W-well, I-- you see--" the boy started, "I-I was a-at the park nearby, and..."
Try as he might, he couldn't stop choking on his words. It looked like talking to girls that weren't playing the roles of princesses or elven sages wasn't quite his forte.

"Johnny it is, then!" Elli agreed. Her eye twitched minutely at being called cute. She didn't want to be cute because as far as she was concerned Pirates weren't supposed to be cute. Before she could express this, Johnny had gone to save them a table.
Ah well, no sense in getting worked up over nothing.
At Luna's offer of dye, Elli declared perhaps a little too enthusiastically,"NO THANKS! I like me fur the way it is." She added. "Unless ye has color that ain't so... bright?"
She turned to Carmen and Ratchet, as if asking for their thoughts on the matter. Fashion? Never was Elli's thing.

Oh, this was just too easy. She could easily scare the Audio she didn't want away- from the Stuffed Animal Chick's reaction, her appearance was enough to do that- and then form a small, tight group. One that wouldn't annoy the everloving god out of her, that she might actually like in return.
This one would be a good start. He was quiet, awkward; wouldn't go out of his way to talk to her unless she started something. In a way, it was sort of endearing. You know. If you were into weird, dorky guys. Flicking her tail slightly and offering a soft smile- (which, really, considering her appearance? Probably wasn't too reassuring at all)- Annabel started again.
"They just gotcha, huh? That's gotta be some crappy-a** luck, Tiger. I'm sorry."

Carmen found herself wondering how to respond to this as diplomatically as possible. She totally was picking up on Elli's vibe. She totally understood. Carmen wasn't about to put anything neon on her fur.. especially not in her hair.. Her long pretty tresses...
She then flashed her glam smile to Luna. "Well, you know... I totally forgot to paint my claws this morning. Do you have stuff you could put on them?" She offered the nail painting. Who knows.... maybe bright colored nails and claws might come in handy later on.. if for nothing else, than to serve as a makeshift flashlight in the dark of the woods.
It hadn't escaped her peripheral vision that all the other campers were slowly making their way in, and maybe one out. She started to rethink she was here for a drama camp. Some of these teens definitely didn't look like they were here for drama camp. Curious.... soooo curious. What was camp for then?

"Er, y-yeah... I guess they did," the LARPer replied, ears dipping downward in a sorrowful fashion. At this point, his facial expression was pathetic enough that it almost needed a frown emoticon to go with it. He had remembered an offer for some kind of adventure a while back, but some miscommunication and a joking offer for a spell that increased hair shininess had landed him in this sadistic dump. He wasn't sure how he was going to survive this... normally the wizard at least had a melee fighter of some kind backing him up!
It looked like he had to at least try and make some friends out of the strangers here, otherwise he would be as good as dead. "W-what about you? Y...you don't look like the type who can just be... w-whisked away like I was."
