"I'd say we'd start by heading towards that barn. It may lead us a bit closer to the humans," Aila suggested. "In anycase, we should probably at least get nearer to the edges of the cornfield."

Aura sat on a cloud and took out a book, 'To Shape a Cloud' by Veire Wett. "This is very cool!" she mumbled as she read.

Sazura landed next to the barn and ran her hand over the chipping paint. "It's so rough. Not what I expected at all."

"Well, I don't see anybody around. Should we look somewhere else?" Just then Sazura heard footsteps and human voices (not at all like angelic ones). She gasped and hugged Aila's arm and looked up at her with a look that said "I'm so excited! ... ... ... What in all of heaven and earth do we do now?"

Sazura held her breath and contunued to hang on Aila's arm, her eyes as big as the sun and moon, and as bright as well. The human footsteps came to a stop and they spoke in low voices for a moment or two before something occured to her. Her eyes widened (believe it or not) and she tugged on Aila's sleeve. "W-Where's Terashi?" she whipered.

"Shh." Sazura whispered and pulled back farther into the shadows. She stared into the light, listening to the humans talking. She couldn't understand much of what they said, but she caught that they had seen one of the two of them, and were arguing over what they had seen. A white wolf or fox? An illusion? An angel? No, of course not! Not an angel! Then perhaps it was a snowshoe hare?

Sazura shot Aila a look and glanced around for some inspiration for what to do... Her eyes fell on some wild grasses growing nearby and she pulled some out silently, she handed half of it to Aila and began to rub it against the knees of her white dress, making grass stains. Then she rubbed her hands in the mud and did the same. She folded her wings against her back so they were only visible if you were looking for them. Her eyes glittered as she stepped out of the shadows into the open.

There was a silence. Then one of the humans spoke up. "What are you doin' here, girl? Are you one of the Adam's girls from down the road?" Not knowing exactly what he was saying, she nodded "I was just playing, sir." The title sounded obsurd considering how filthy this man was, and how terrible his human voice sounded. She waited for Aila to step out into the open before she continued.

Sazura felt like she was flying again. Her feet were moving faster than she could have ever made them go on her own, because Aila was older and had longer running legs. "Where are we going now, Aila?" She whispered, uncertain.
