The s-band is playing this epic song called pilatus-mountain of dragons. we just had our fall concert and one of the clarinetists was introducing "what to imagine" in the song, and he was talking about, "probably to save some maiden because they're always doing that" but then he started rambling cuz it was a full house, and said "or guy, you never know, they could be homosexual..." and then our director interupted with "well! on that note..." it was pretty funny xd and wind ensemble is playing October by Eric Whitacre, who i think is a BEAST because every song i've ever heard them play by him is EPIC. (like Ghost Train my freshman year) and if youve never heard October, you need to youtube it. its absolutely beautiful. and The Tyger by Frank Ticheli The Tyger is the "most messed-up song i've ever played in high school" -quote from drum major...

sweetkittycupcake oh we've played Mars by the Planets before.... We played that last year along with Jupiter and Venus. But this year, we're playing "Fanfare,Ode,and Festival", "Air For Band", "Pevensey Castle", "Flourish For Winds", "El Relico", and since it's around Christmas, we're also playing "A Christmas Festival."

For the winter concert... Symphonic is playing Incantation and Dance and Solas Ane (Yesterday's Joy)
We have this piece for the spring concert called In The Spring At The Time When Kings Go Off To War. My head will explode if we play it. I can barely read it. But I'm excited to try it. We've also got Gavorkna Fanfare, which I dislike because the clarinet part is kind of lame. It's a cool sounding piece though.
