Hanna blinked and narrowed her eyes, studying Kallman again. "You know, you're very pushy," she said, but kindly. Friend? How long had it been since someone had called her that? Too long for sure. Kallman hardly seemed like the kind to bestow such a title lightly, and yet they had only known each other for a few hours.

:: Kallman looked at her what was she thinking? Did she hate him? Did she wish he would leave? Kallman wasn't used to being around other people espically girls. Kallman admitted yeah he liked her, but she was a human and he had to snap out of it:: "So are we going to hunt this thing or stand here like idiots?"

Hanna sighed, realizing she would have to explain. "I guess I gave you the wrong impression before. A Marsh Hare is not a normal creature, and I do not hunt it to kill. Sometimes, when I've truly needed it, one will come and give me some kind of instruction. There are many more of them where I come from." As she explained, she noticed that the sky was getting lighter. Dawn already? she thought. Surely it hadn't been that long! "It wouldn't do much good to chase him now though," Hanna said. "I've already spoken to him. Whatever he thinks I need is in that cave," she said pointing.

"Cave huh? Well if you feel you should go alone I will let you. It is much safer now that the sun is up. Just be careful." ::He slowly started to walk away knowing that she surely would come back to his swamp at one point or another.::

Hanna stared after him for a moment and shook his head. He's almost as twisted up as I am, she thought, and walked toward the cave. Sweeping back the thick curtain of vines, she entered slowly, not wanting to walk into some kind of trap. She waited for her eyes to adjust to the darkness, her hand resting on the hilt of her dagger as she counted the seconds. One. Two. Three...

:: Kallman was walking back to his swamp as his ears perked. There was a strange noise in the swamp. He slowly crept to the noise making as little sound as possible. He saw them, lots of them Hunters. Why in the world were they in the swamp. He knew they wouldn't find him but of his friend. He couldn't go back he promised to let her hunt alone. He stood in front of them directly as he beared his fangs and sharpened his claws. The leader looked at him as he commanded the others to attack. The hunters furiously attacked Kallman and Kallman did his best to fight them but he ended up on the ground. The leader had him chained::
"You are a full demon, surely your skin is worth a worthy price. Take him to the hideout." "Yes sir!" ::The hunters and the boss quickly left the swamp.::

What was that? Hanna put her ear to the wall of vines, listening closely to--yes, fighting. From the direction Kallman had come. She ran through the trees on quick feet, following her ears to a clearing. She slipped behind a tree and watched helplessly as Hunters took Kallman down. If they caught her, she would die, but Kallman, for all that she wanted to help him, wouldn't be killed. Not yet anyway. She drew a short dagger and followed them. Where's Charlie when you need him? she thought.

::The hunters had entered their hideout deep with the forest. They threw Kallman into a cell and left him there with 5 guards to stand by watching. Kallman looked at the guards. All he could think about was just fighting them, but since he was chained he was trapped. Kallman thought about Hanna, surely she had heard the noise. Kallman hoped that she wouldn't come after him. It was too dangerous too dangerous for her alone. Maybe if she had help from Drake and Charlie. By herself she would end up where he was trapped. Kallman sat in his chains and wondered about her, he couldn't take his mind of how stubborn she was, wanting to do everything herself. Kallman had to admit he was like that too.

The Hunters gaurded their hideout well. Without a doubt Hanna knew she could not make it in and out again before she was caught, if only from the sheer number of the enemy. Whatever she did next was going to be curst hard, because she knew that she couldn't just leave Kallman there. She knew what happened to captured demons. As evening came again over the world, Hanna returned to the swamp. If she could just find Charlie or Drake, then maybe they would help her. If not, then she was on her own, and she didn't like to think of the odds. She crouched on one knee and massaged her temples, thinking hard. This is stupid, she thought. I don't even know him! The more she thought, the more ridiculous it became, but the more ridiculous she thought it was, the more her stubborn streak kicked in, and she knew that she wouldn't leave Kallman to his fate.

::From the shadows Charlie awoke and looked around for his master. With him no where in sight he began to howl. (Very loud). Charlie started looking in the dirt for Kallman.::
::Kedro was counting the money he had been promised for catching all these demons. Who would have known that a demon lived in a swamp of all places. Kedro smirked, surely Kallman would go for quite a price considering he was found in a rare place and was full wolf. Kedro laughed and then realized that he wanted more, he wanted her.::

When the howling hit the evening air Hanna flinched and covered her ears. What was that?! After a few minutes she walked toward the sound and was surprised to see that Charlie, the giant flytrap, was the one causing all of the ruckus! "Charlie!" Hanna shouted, not taking her hands from her ears. But the plant didn't hear. "CHARLIE!" she bellowed at the top of her lungs, and prayed that he would stop.

::Kedro was tired of waiting. He walked down to the dungeon and waved to the guards. They left him pass. He entered the cell and pulled Kallman up by his shirt.:: "Where is she? Where?" ::Kallman did not know what to say or do. Who was she and why did Kedro want to know?:: "Where? Come on demon you must know something!" ::Kallman refused to answer and was thrown into the wall knocking him unconsious.:: "He doesn't know anything tommorrow we kill him."

(Uh-oh...)
Hanna realized that she was going to have a difficult time figuring out what to do about Charlie. How in the world was she supposed to get him to follow her? A giant fly? Actually, she thought, rubbing her nose thoughtfully, that might not be a bad idea. If I had any, that is. She ran to Kallman's treehouse and grabbed everything that she thought Charlie might like, then ran back. "Charlie! Charlie here, take this. Master is in trouble, you have to come and help!" she said, tossing something that closely resembled beef jerky in his direction.
