Sayo continued her twirl, adding in a Shunpo so that her blade smacked aside each of the weapons as they came at her with enough force to tear them out of their owner's hands. She usually did this sort of thing with two blades instead of one, but she was proficient enough with her weaker style. "You don't even know what strength is." she answered mildly. Sayo did not believe herself to be particularly strong, since she had seen what real power was. When she was the Lieutenant of 10th Division, there had been three Shinigami who could truly be called strong. Despite her offensive power, she knew that she was not yet even in their shadow, much less able to stand beside them. A fight at this level was a joke, whoever won, compared to the battles she had witnessed and fought in.

The weapons were not lost, though the attack was. The two imposters were made clear at once as Kaigen used the momentum Sayo gave him to spin and deliver a strike towards her midriff that would, in real combat, either cleave through her, or be ready to divert in order to block a counterassault.
"Then show me!" he exclaimed as he attacked, his right foot forward to serve as a spring board should he see fit, and his left stabilizing him. Neither party in any way took the battle seriously, but Kaigen wanted to take it seriously. He wanted her to try and kill him at this point. She talked about power but refused to prove it. Where was that strength that could rend mountains? Tucked in the back of her being? Well then Kaigen would bring it out, so that his could be awakened as well.

Sayo's free hand came down and stopped the blade, the armor on it sufficient for the task; it was bound to her Zanpakuto somehow, and contained the same amount of defensive ability as her striking power. Speed, strength, and defense... a living tank, but faster, was a good description of the girl. The armor was enough to stop his weapon, certainly. "I don't have such power. And you, having never seen it, cannot even comprehend what true power is." the girl answered. Her blade came down inches from his face, unleashing another shockwave. Dodging that would not be nearly so easy, not from this range.

Kaigen smirked as he slid Jakenkou back and upwards, crashing into Sayo's zanpakuto with such force that the shockwave was entirely canceled, and his physical strength was enough to push her blade up, that must have been something new for the brute of a girl. The tip of his zanpakuto pressed against her armor at the back of her shoulder as he muttered a few words.
"The prince has spoken, to the dungeon with you." With that, his zanpakuto slid clean through the back of her armor, and her shoulder where he had pushed off of her earlier, stopping only when it hit the other side of her armor. With a shunpo backwards, he withdrew the blade from her shoulder and stood still, his eyes dark, and his face grim.

When the other Shinigami came at her with a little more force, Sayo merely added in more of her own, twisting the blade aside and using that to protect herself and send his weapon off to the side of her shoulder instead. His work to use Bakudou on her was relatively entertaining, and not much help; the first binding she had broken earlier through brute force, the second would thus be doing nothing. The ground formed into a crater as she launched towards the man, using a little more striking power than before as she shot faster through the air at him for a simple ramming attack; not only was she starting with shunpo, but she was using raw physical force to increase her speed even more so for what Rednal called the Sayo-doken. This man was moderately good, but not quite good enough to be reacting fast enough to stop her, not unless he was secretly a speed-oriented fighter. Quantity, which in her case was faintly absurd amounts of strength, had a quality all its own.

((funny thing is, you havn't broken a damned thing yet.))

Sayo may have thought that she had the upper hand, or that she even had a hand in it at all up until this point, but she was dead wrong. The second was not quite a binding in the way that she assumed. Instead, it had bound the tip of his blade to the front of her shoulder, effectively making an undodgeable lunge, hence the inured shoulder she now suffered, though it didn't seem to take much pep out of her step.
The girl was physically strong and fast, but Kaigen was both of those things, and calculating to boot. His spells were not what they appeared to be in the way he used them, which was greatly to his advantage. As Sayo tried to ram Kaigen, he crouched low and brought his zanpakuto down and to the side so that it was in line with her arm as she charged. He leaned his shoulder into hers, hearing naught but a pop of his shoulder going out of place yet again . . . Nani's work went to waste. He skid backwards along with her ramming maneuver, but uttered, "Nikase"as a cue for Jakenkou to run up her upper arm, piercing her armor once more, but this time also skewering her upper arm and the front panel of her armor. He didn't need to use any physical force as it was all in the kidou, his arm merely went along for the ride, which was nice since he'd have to pull the blade out.
"Perhaps we should stop before one of us gets seriously hurt," he muttered, his voice dull in comparison with his tones earlier, as if a new voice altogether came from his mouth. Actually, one might catch a hint of femininity in this voice.

(( Well, it IS a friendly fight... XD But I should note that she was going through the air faster than he would have been able to see. Not just a shunpo, but extra force simply from her physical abilities to accelerate her even faster. Speed, defense, and brute strength are her specialties. Aaand... getting off for today. So I suppose it's a good time to stop anyway. ))

The other man's blade scraped along the side of her armor as it tried to connect with her, but failed to penetrate as she simply shoved it aside in defiance of the power of the spell. The man just didn't have enough energy with those to overcome her version of protection against Bakudou, which was to simply push against it until it broke. Most Shinigami had the weakness of their clothes in combat; it wasn't really protection at all, and fairly easy to cut on top of that. Not so with the silvery armor and its deceptively weaker-looking white cloth segments; as tough as her weapon was and thus sufficient to stop his blade, and indeed push it aside when it tried to come in and hit her. If he couldn't cut into her sword, then he wouldn't be able to slice through her armor, and worse luck to him because of it. As she'd come in and his sword came out, though, one of the girl's arms had arced around his so she could get a nice, firm grip on it and as he was shoved backwards by the impact, one of the girl's feet connected with the ground and she used that to whirl around and throw him towards the side of the arena. The shields there would stop his flight, but it would be a bruising impact. "Really. I could do this all day; I've had harder warm-up sessions."

((you're not pushing to break a kido. The kido is doing nothing but moving the sword, the swords piercing power is all it's own, and I'm trying to make the point that he's not just dicking around, and he has the power to poke through your armor. A friendly fight means the end result isn't death, not that I'm not going to hurt you, XP))

"Good," Kaigen muttered as he slammed his blade into the ground, using it as an anchor as he landed not far from Sayo. "That means I can do a lot more damage without worrying about silly things like killing you," he said, his voice almost gutteral now and deeper than either voice Sayo had heard thus far. What the hell was with this guy. As he puled Jakenkou from the ground, he started walking towards Sayo again with a serious killing intent. After just a step, Kaigen stopped moving altogether as a hand caught his shoulder. This hand hadn't been there before, and nor had the woman that it belonged to.
"Stop now, Prince, before you kill the girl," she cooed into Kaigen's ear before vanishing altogether, and Kaigen's face returned to normal, if not brighter than normal. His Zanpakuto now reverted to it's sealed form as Kaigen stood there, one hand holding Jakenkou, and the other hanging slack since the arm was dislocated. So the damage report consisted of a dislocated shoulder, and a couple of stab wounds . . . not bad.

(( Her armor doesn't break quite THAT easily. ^^ And remember; your character is only an acting Captain, not a true one; even normally, Sayo outranks him. ))

"You couldn't if you tried." the girl answered, sheathing her sword. It was perhaps a pointed fact that she had used no technique other than shunpo, nor even released her own blade to Shikai. Not that she ever actually fought with her Shikai. She had yet to use it in battle in all her years. "The greatest difference between us is experience. You are young, and have no idea of the truth of things that have happened. You have not seen the great wars, nor fought in them. A few small-fry Adjuchas slain, if you have even that much, do not make you a true veteran." she was apparently unimpressed with the acting Captain. But then, she was unimpressed with nearly everyone after the people she'd known before.

(( Plate armor is for swings, not for stabs, reiatsu based armor or not))
"I don't claim to be anywhere near veteran. I just needed to know that I wouldn't be disgraced if I fought claiming to be a captain. I'm no Zaraki . . . I never expect to be," Kaigen replied, sheathing Jakenkou before pushing his shoulder back into place, reeling it around a few times to get all his movement back. "But if I don't try and step up, our division gets nerfed, so here I am. Now I know you're unlikely to take orders from me, but we have a mission to take care of, you and I . . . we are to retrieve a rogue lieutenant, preferably alive. Think you can handle that?" he chuckled. He had no doubt she could help retrieve the lieutenant, but the alive part would seem to be a challenge for the girl.

"If you can tolerate a few limbs torn off..." the girl answered wryly. Her fighting style wasn't a terribly cautious one; mostly, it involved running up to the target and bashing it until it stopped moving. This didn't often take a very long time. To take somebody alive was... hmm... perhaps if she just aimed at the legs to start with and then let him take over once those were gone. The chances certainly were that the target would get injured somewhere. The girl didn't even know any spells to use on her own; the only real way for her to capture someone was to beat them senseless and physically drag them back to the Seireitei. It usually worked fairly well.

"Yata-sama said alive, he didn't say anything about limbs," Kaigen replied, chuckling at the girl's response. "All you need to do is weaken him, I'll take care of the actual capture part. And I'll stop you before you kill him."
The question was would he be able to keep her from bashing Raiden's brains out, and the answer: of course.
"I'm sure you'll find a way to take him down . . . come on, let's get started, hm?"
Kaigen smirked as he took a bottle from inside of his cloak and popped it open, making that little Kssh, noise soda tends to make. How it managed to go unshaken was a miracle. He took a sip of the strawberry goodness as he walked towards the door.

Sayo simply followed. As always, she wasn't around for the purpose of delicacy. Despite her appearance, it really wasn't in her nature; she was muscle, plain and simple, there for when somebody else wanted something broken. As far as she cared, that was as simple as it needed to be. Right now, she couldn't even see that man's shadow, much less his back; only when she could see that could she allow herself to be something more. Until then, it was simply follow orders and continue to hone her skills.

Tanrei or Tan as she preferred to be called stood in the center of the ring her Zanpkutou in its scabbard. She was in a fighting stance which was obviously meant for multiple enemies as 4 members of the 11th division surrounded her sword drawn. They were unseated or very low seated officers and she knew that she would win but the training would be good for them. "COME!" They charged and she smiled under her neko hood the first one came from her left as he swung down at her she spun round planting her left foot and rotating in reverse her right food sliding on the ground as she drove her elbow into the Shinigami's rib cadge cracking 2 ribs with the blow. She opened her arm turning her palm to the man and grabbed him turning her hand and coming fully around she planted her leg behind his making sure to hit his knee as she pulled him down and through him onto his back cracking the stone.

The others would soon be on her as she spun and looked at them with a wicked smile her left hand fell and hit the bottom of her scabbard sending the blade up into the air she ran forward dodging the next Shinigami's horizontal attack by jumping into the air and flipping she grabbed her sword when she was upside down and above another of her students before using riatsu to send her straight down at the man her sword smashing against his and cracking it. She laughed and then spun vertically kicking him in the chin hard and probably breaking it.

Her hood had fallen back revealing her sandy blond hair as the next shinigami attacked her with a cross body slash just as she landed. It was easy to block, and then counter with a left upper cut straight to his stomach causing him to gasp and pull back as the next Shinigmai attack vertically she dodged it by spinning and turned her blade so that the blunt part would hit the shinigami upside his head and cause a thin line of blood to burst as he fell unconscious fling a few meters away.

The last shinigami charged again and she bowed low at the last second as he tried to get her from behind with a horizontal slash. Her size saved her and she used the butt of her hilt to jab him in the stomach, and as he fell send a right knee into his chest cracking his center bone. She smiled sheathing her blade, and walked away to the outside of the ring to sit in a special champion's chair that she made her subordinates bring for her. She affixed her hood, and smiled as she ordered a lemonade.
