Sirius laughed harder, "You know he'll be at tryouts too? Shouting things about Snively?" he gasped, "You aren't even making sense Evans!" his brief break from laughing was instantly broken as the girl was becoming desperate.

Lilly was done. She grabbed a roll off the table, dunked it in whatever the bark red sauce was and through it as hard as she could at Sirius's head. "Quit it!" She turned around and stormed out of the great hall; her hair flying out behind her. She didn’t think that she could stand listening to him for one more second.
Remus cringed when food started to fly, He closed one eye and lanced at Sirius. “Was that really necessary?” He asked in a quite voice. The werewolf hated upsetting anyone, he was grateful to have the number of friends he did and Lily was one of his favorites.

Sirius whipped out his wand and muttered a spell. The roll hovered inches from his face. Sirius's eyes widened and he shrugged, taking a bite he smiled, "Well it's good sauce Moony." he shurgged, taking the roll out of the air and putting it on his plate, "Look, Evans and I don't get along. We just butt heads Moony. It was a good laugh though." he wiped his eyes with a grin.

Remus took another bite of his mountain of food and sighed. "That doesn’t mean that you have to be so mean to her… She’s a girl, man.” He knew that it was a sexist comment but they really shouldn’t be so mean to girls… He rolled his shoulders and sat up very straight.
Lilly walked quickly down the hallway she was trying not to break anything. Her shoe made clicking noises on the stone floor and as her pace picked up the clicks got louder. “Stupid Sirius!...Why the hell does he have to be such a child…” She muttered and wiped her eyes on her sleeve.

Sirius rolled his eyes, "Forgive me for having a bit of a joke." he said, starting to eat again.
Severus stood up ad ran out of the hall after Lily, shooting Sirius a dirty look as he did so, "Lily! What did he do?" he asked, catching up with her quickly.
Anthony watched as Severus ran out of the room and raised an eyebrow. Though he was the youngest of the group he hung out with, he often felt that he was the most mature and had the most self control.

Lily kept walking but slowed a little and kept her head down. "Nothing, we just got into a fight..." She didn't want him to get upset so she would not tell her friend what had happened. The girl balled and unballed her fists trying to calm down fast. “Sometimes I think that you should try to get along with people better…” She said hoping he wouldn’t take it the wrong way.
Remus rolled his eyes and kept eating. "You’re forgiven..." He said, he could not keep a grudge against anyone, especially not Sirius. He finished his first plate and piled it high once more. The food disappeared into his trap and he was not a quite eater.

Severus frowned, "I try. But those guys have it out for me. You know that, Potter and his friends. If he tries to hex or jinx you, just tell me. I would put him in his place." he promised.
Sirius looked up at Remus, "Moony, get some table manners." he chuckled lightly.

Lily would not hear it. "they wouldn't do anything like that to me... don't worry about it. " She glanced back the way they had come. "You should go finish dinner, I'll seen you tomorrow, okay?" She hugged him tightly then let the taller boy go. A small smile danced on her face and she was happy again, all her angry emotions gone with the wind.
Remus stuck his tongue out playfully at Sirius and made a face. "I'll get some table manners soon as you invite me to your mom's table!" He laughed at the joke and took another overloaded fork full of nurturance from his plate.

Severus frowned, "Okay, I'll talk to you later." he said, walking back towards the Great Hall slowly.
Sirius chuckled, "Well then you will always eat like a pig." he joked.

Lilly made her way up to the Gryffindor common room, she had over heard the password earlier so she was ably to get in without a problem. The girl sat down on one of the soft couches and drew her knees up to her chest, she leaned her head on her knees and closed her eyes. She was annoyed, and now determined to make the quidich team.
Remus shrugged. "Who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to sweet talk my way in, or break down the door..." He winked and gulped down his glass. this truly was the best food he ever got, nothing like magic to make it taste it's best.

Sirius chukled, "Probably have to confound her." he joked, "Or use the Imperious Curse on her, and that's just to let you in for a little. Any more and we'd need a potion and the Imperious Curse."

Remus laughed loudly with his mouth full. "Maybe I can seduce her with my dashing good looks and song bird voice!" He pointed his finger in the air above his head. "Who doesn't like blonds, We can lie and say I'm a Malfoy!" He slapped his leg and snorted.

Sirius chuckled, "Maybe, only problem is you don't have the skin for it. You have to be white as a sheet!" he exclaimed, "Remember the Lucius Malfoy we came across first year? Looked as if he had been hiding from the sun half his life!"

Molly gave Sirius a hard shove with her elbow, frowning severely. Growing up with her brothers had taught her just where to aim for it to hit his ribs, causing the greatest amount of pain, minuscule as it was. No crush was going to keep her from standing up for her friend. "Why is it that you don't get along with Lily anyway?" she glared harshly at him, "Is it because she tries to stop your cruel bullying or because she's pulling James' attention away from you?"
She got up quickly, leaving her plate half full, a rarity for her, and ran after Evans. She slowed slightly seeing Severus and nodded a little to him. It surprised her that Lily wasn't still talking to him, "Hello Snape," she said softly, "Is she okay?" For a Slytherin, he was fairly nice, and less stuck up than Sirius's cousin. Sometimes Molly wondered how different Sirius was. She knew he was a good person, but still.
Andromeda turned with an eyebrow raised at Anthony. She barely heard his ramblings of Quidditch, but Snape's rushed leave drew her from her day dreamings of Ted. She had taken Lily's side on many reprimandings of Sirius, but she would not let herself be seen rushing after a muggle, even if it was Tonks. And she understood her cousin's desire to play around, many times she had joined him.
