I hate trumpets...egos is all I have to say.

In terms of the people who play them, I hate the clarinets because the clarinetists at my school have the biggest egos I've ever seen, and our director used to just FEED that until this year when I became flute section leader and my section destroyed them.

YEAH!!!! I hate the clarinets with emormous egos. I play the clarinet, and I gotta say we can be egotistical, but that's because we are trying to hide the fact we are a bunch of immature idiots. XD

I can't say a hate any instrument...because each one is different and special in their own way. Even if an instrument is low sounding (which is not in my tastes) it usually sounds really good with another specific instrument.
I play violin, and it sounds best when accompanied with a voila (to me)

oboe definately and flutes and clarinets cause the intonation is horrible

I hate the Oboe the sound that thing makes it just makes me want to rip my ears off and ram them into my trumpet!

I don't get why people hate the clarinet. : I play it, and our section is pretty good. Actually, all of our woodwinds are good (except the oboes). The brass and percussion are always goofing off and not paying attention; they always screw us up.
We have two oboes in our band; they sound horrible together. Not that we can hear them 99% of the time, though; their forte sounds like piano.

i hate the trombones. i play the clarinet and sometimes we sqeak but our lower notes sound cool. i hate the high notes. you have to have lots of trombones too drown out the sound of the high notes of the clarinets.

I don't know if it is the instrument or the player in our band but I really have grown to despise the sound of the french horn. It is good sometimes but when someone plays it during a solo I just can't stand it... I used to like them too...

In my band, the saxes have a great hate for the flutes, even though it is mostly for fun.
But the most hated musicians (if you could call them that) are the drummers. They are so immature and unintelligent! They drive us all banana sandwich.
