I wasn't calling it filler, but referring to it as such. It was nice to see so many characters, but at the same time nothing really popped out at me in this two-parter. *shrugs*

Yeah that isn't going to end well.
I'll just edit in my thoughts ont he episode since I still have the last post on the thread.
Over all Decipticon Air is an episode that I'm not too sure about. A lot certainly happened and the references to other Transformers continuities were great we got nods to a lot. Like Quintessons and Nebulos. Two of the clones getting new helmets was also nice.
However I have never been very fond of the type of movies that this episode was a clear homage to and frankly Sentinel Prime is an automatical detraction from any episode he appears in.
The Ceasar imagery when he came back to Cybertron was also kind of disturbing as that incompetent buffoon being the new magnus is a recipe for disaster.

I thought this episode was...Interesting.
Great that Swindle's back, too, and, I loved the bit where he put the new helmets on Ramjet (?) and Sunstreaker. you know, it really makes me wonder how Ultra Magnus is holding up. I suspect he's going to be recovered before Sentinel does any horrible damage. Because everyone knows he doesn't want to be JUST Primer Prime. rolleyes I wanna see Shockwave again, too.

I am still curious why they put such emphasis on the Magnus Hammer . . . all the Autobots seem to treat it as more than just a weapon. What could that thing unlock?! The allspark/matrix is revealed (and shattered), the space bridges are shut down . . . what could it be?

I think you mean Sunstorm Chaos.
Sunstreaker is the narcistic autobot who is Sideswipe's twin brother. Who was also planned to be gay in the dreamwave continuity.
And I'm also curious about exactly what the Magnus hammer is for and why it seems so important.
I'm hoping we'll get an answer by the end of the season.

"It's the one thing... the only thing that can stop the All Spark" mrgreen I love that line lol (note it has nothing to do with Season 3 but thought I'd just throw it in there since there's speculation)

This was a brilliant episode. Sentinel proved to be just as incompetent a stand in Magnus as he was a Prime.
I agree Animated has handled humans much better than a lot of other continuities.
I enjoyed seeing Fort Max.
I'm definately looking forward to Endgame 1&2 now.

It's kind of sad Fort Max was just a tower, but it was awsome that he and Metroplex got named. I don't think they're actual Transformers in this continuity, but it's sweet just seeing them.
I have to say that this was my favorite episode of the series so far. I mean Ratcet is one of my favorite Animated bots and the fact that he got to show his stuff was great.
I also loved the other Cameo's, the question is was that Rattrap or Packrat?

Yeah, I agree, this is also my favorite episode (for season 2 though) At the end I was all "Oh, slag...She remembers!!" Man. This is going to be one heck of a ride. I also loved all the cameos, especially Tracks.
Jazz is SO cool, by the way. I always knew he wasn't in agreement with Sentinel, and that he had his own agenda. biggrin
I also found it interesting, the two main characters that they used for this ep. They make an awesome team, really.

Actaully accourding to the Transformers wiki, his name is Rattletrap.
I really hope Arcee and Jazz stay around for the fourth season.
