Ammit the Devourer Eponishta we were poor, but we never knew it. Mom and Da always made sure we had what we needed. Plus, I could listen to anything out in the barn as long as it didn't disturb the animals... Yeah my parents made sure we had what we needed. But I got picked on a lot in elementary for living in a mobile home and shopping at good will.
But I never cared really. I still don't. I see a lot of people that were poor too like my ex and now they just want a bunch of stuff. For me it taught me that I don't need a bunch of stuff and to be happy just to have a few nice things and my family.
It also taught me how to work hard for the things I want. Which I have. I don't have a lot of awesome things but what I do have I worked my a** off to save up while paying bills and get. Yeah i understand where you're coming from. I only get what i need too with a few exceptions. lol But yeah things dont bring happiness at all.

Groing up the way we did taught me how to survive, and perservere I am not sorry for it, nor will I paint it as other than it was. It was hard, cause the kids in school teased us constantly. On the one hand because we were outsiders, native american, and on the other hand because we did not live on the reservation, but outside its border. Its not like we weren't part of the tribe, just that we were seen as outsiders because we didn't live inside those borders. Ah... I wanted something that I could hold onto longer than the next storm, so I went to college and got a job doing something that I felt was my destiny. I am not a bit sorry for it. Ah, and angel, here is a song for you, since you liked the one with Kannon Wakeshima http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxGdR7NeRYc

Like not physically or anything. i just get a weird feeling like it would be a mistake or something along those lines.

Like I finally just now decided to update my console and get a 360. I had a ps2 forever.

(And it sux that i havent even played it for a couple weeks now. xP) And i'm glad that i dont spend money all the time especially when things like a car needing maintennance puts a huge hole in the bank. I'm still recovering from it. xP

The hot tub came with the house... I bought the playstation before I married Ray, and the Wii was a gift.
But yeah, I understand. What we have in our hands doesn't equate happiness.
@ Butteroll.... I like the song. 3nodding
