During all of this, Raquel turned in her sleep, her hand reaching out for Damian who was not there. She opened her eyes, panicking fora moment, thinking it had all been but a dream. But when she sat up and saw the beautiful room she was in, she smiled, relieved. Standing and stretching, she went to her closet and picked out a white simple sundress she had bought with Damian the day before. Combing through her messy hair with her fingers, she managed to make it look presentable enough. Looking herself in the mirror, she wondered what she would look like with long hair. Would Damian prefer her that way? After all, that's how Lorey had her's. Maybe she could be a step better than she was now if her hair ere longer. Sighing, realizing she was worrying over probably nothing, she exited hr room, in search for Damian. She hard the two men talking in the kitchen but didn't catch what they were saying, walking in she smiled cheerfully, though realized almost immediately that there was some tension in the room. "Good morning..." She said trying to keep her smile. "I'm not interruption anything am I?" She asked, looking from Richard to Damian with curiosity. Richard turned, looking to Damian with a new view. He was about to say something more when Raquel walked in. He quickly turned his back and finished preparing himself a mug of coffee.

He looked up with a snap. She was the last thing he expected to come through the door, to be sure. Anxious fingers swept through his hair as he tried to make himself look presentable... really, he needed a shower.
"Good morning," he said, standing to offer her his own chair. "You look lovely, Raquel... are you hungry?" His mind reeled with all of the options she had for food,, but he stopped for a moment. "And you, Richard, what would you have? What do you think Lorey would like? She hasn't woken up yet..."
With the way he buzzed, one would think Damian had a shot of espresso, but it was only Raquel he needed to be suddenly on edge and fretting.

"I'm fine..." Raquel answered honestly. "I'm not feeling all that hungry." She smiled, remembering yesterday's 'feast' that was so much food, her stomach wasn't used to it. She'd be ready to eat something small again in a few hours. She seemed to think a moment before asking "Is there anything I can get you?" She hated that he always doted on her. She wanted to give him some well deserved attention as well.
Richard raised an eyebrow, gave Damian a look, the turned to get a small cup of coffee, adding some cream and sugar before going to wake up Lorey. He didn't think she had a taste for coffee black, so he tried a softer, sweeter approach to the beverage, hoping it would be more to her liking. Knocking on the door, Richard called within. "Lorey, you awake?" He asked, opening the door to give her coffee.

Damian thought for a moment. Well, he did have to take a shower... while he was doing that, he could at least give her something to do as it was so evident that Raquel wanted to help. "Could you make me a bergamot tea with some sugar while I go and make myself a bit more presentable? And place some bread in the toaster for me?" Simple things, nothing more would he give her to do.
Meanwhile, Lorey was actually still sleeping. At the sound of Richard's voice, her eyes fluttered open, and she realized that the lovely feeling of being on air was not part of a dream at all. She was sleeping upon a down comforter, in a lovely room filled with morning light. "Mm... just a little..." Lorey rubbed her eyes a bit, slowly sitting up. Once she opened her cobalt beauties up once more, they rested on Richard and smiled. "Ah, did you make coffee? And you look nice, too..."

Raquel smiled, glad she could do something for him. "Of course" She nodded, turning to boil some water. She didn't know much about cooking but at least she could make a cup of tea and toast. It was too simple for her to screw up too badly. While the water boiled, she turned to find the tea and stick some toast into the toaster, as as brief flighty thought of Damian in the shower crossed her mind, making her cheeks glow red.
He smiled loving how she looked so fresh when she woke up. "Yes I did...And thank you...not as lovely as you look though." He sat on the edge of the bed and handed her a dainty little cup filled with a sweet creamy coffee.

"Thank you." Damian gave her a wink before going off to his own room. Each bedroom had it's own shower so that no one had to go through the trouble of sharing. He tore off his inhibiting old suit, grabbed a change of clothes, and made his way to getting fresh once more. Once he was done, Damian pulled his wet hair back in his signature ponytail, dried off, dressed himself (in a smart but casual outfit), and returned once more to the kitchen. "Alright..." he muttered, coming up behind Raquel to plant a kiss upon her cheek.
Her hands wrapped around the cup, bringing in it's warmth right to her heart. "You do look just as lovely," she giggled, and sipped her coffee. To Lorey, it was perfect. "Ah... just as lovely as this. It's wonderful, thank you..." Her eyes wandered over to the bag of clothes from the day before. It would be the first step to beginning this new life, by stepping into a new dress. "Which one do you think I should wear?"

Raquel blushed turning to look up at him smiling. "The tea's almost done...Your toast is on a plate on the table." She bit her lip, hesitated, then leaned up and kissed him briefly on the cheek as well, feeling giddy and light as she did so.
Richard looked to the bag of clothes. He really knew nothing of fashion but he did know one thing. "Darling, you could make anything in that bag look beautiful..." He said honestly, taking a sip of his coffee.

Damian grinned like he had some kind of great secret, but it was more like a plan of sorts. He placed his arm about her waist, and took his other hand in hers. For a moment they looked like they were about to go dancing across the floor until Damian kissed her sweetly upon the lips. It was his way of saying thank-you, by keeping her so close and not dropping the ball they had picked p the night before. "How did you sleep?" he whispered, searching her eyes for any kind of sleeplessness. Lorey smiled and pecked him on the cheek. "Then you're going to have to excuse me while I change." She placed her little cup upon the nightstand before rising from her little roost on the bed. From the bag, she pulled a blue sundress with a white ribbon about the middle that tied in the back. She would emerge in a few minutes looking fresh, with her hair tied back and up for a change to reveal more of her face.

Raquel laughed as he held her in such a manner, staring right back into his eyes, showing nothing but bliss and contentment. "Wonderfully." She said matter of factly, resting her head on his chest a moment to hear his heart beat. "Thank you....for being there last night..."
Richard couldn't help but stare when she came out. His jaw hung slightly a jaw as he looked her up and down. "Gorgeous..." He muttered under his breath, standing to get a look at her. He had never seen her with her hair pulled back. Gently touching her face, he smiled. She had lovely features...stunning really.

His hold on her shifted right into a hug so he could hold her close. If this was what Richard got to experience every day, this closeness with a beautiful woman... then he wanted every bit of this for himself, too. "I'll admit, I fell asleep next to you out of pure exhaustion, but everything before that was done with purpose. And I won't forget that you want me to come tonight as well to help you fall asleep..."
Every time Lorey blushed, her entire being seemed to go pink. Against her white hair, she felt like a peach. "Thank you," she mumbled through awkward smiles and sudden little laughs. "I'm glad you think so... all ready for breakfast, right?" Lorey took his hand, kissed it, and decided it was best for them to join the others. Before walking with him out of the room, she grabbed her little cup of coffee so she wouldn't leave a mess.
Once out into the kitchen, Lorey began to chime a good morning, before her voice dropped off a little bit. Damian and Raquel were in a tight hug, and sure didn't seem like they were going to come undone any time soon.
And if Damian had anything to do with it, being walked in on, as it were, wasn't going to suddenly make him ashamed. "Good morning Lorey," he said, unabashedly giving Raquel a final squeeze and little kiss upon the neck before letting go a bit.

Raquel wasn't used to such affection, ecspecially in front of others. Her face was a bright red as she nervously pulled her hair behind her ears, still in Damian's hold a bit. "Erm...m-morning." She managed to stutter, smiling nervously, gripping Damian's arm, trying to get her blush to die down, but failed miserably.
Richard rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged apologetically to Damian before laughing a bit. With a stretch, and a yawn he leaned against the wall. "So what shall we have for breakfast, if anyone wants anything at all." He smiled.

Seeing how utterly red she was, Damian let go of her, though with a great reluctance. "Waffles, pancakes, fruit, it's all there..." he muttered, opening the fridge and pulling out a greenish fruit along with a small bit of butter. Having his toast made for him already, he went over to the table to have that along with his tea.
"Ooh, waffles, please," Lorey said, walking over to settle that all out for herself. She couldn't help but notice, though, how much Raquel was blushing. It irked her, in a rather selfish way. Wasn't he madly in love with her? What had happened to all of that nonsense that came pouring out of his drunken lips? Unless it was all alcohol speaking, and nothing at all like the truth... but hadn't Richard said that he knew it for awhile himself? It was all confusing, even if she was happy for Raquel to have found someone. Lorey gave the other girl a wink before turning around to make herself a plate of waffles, fresh fruit, and a glass of iced tea.

Raquel smiled and diverted her eyes, deciding to at least have some tea. She poured herself a glass and joined Damian at the table. Taking a sip of the hot beverage, she placed her hand on his knee gently, then gave him a look as if asking if that was ok.
Richard had decided he just wanted some fruit and maybe a waffle himself, standing close to Lorey as he prepared his as well, jokingly bumping her, sending her goofy smiles and sweet looks.

"Everything's lovely," Damian whispered to her, having just finished everything upon his plate as well as his tea. Her hand upon his leg made some color come to his cheeks, but in a way that made the refined features healthier. In a moment, his fingers wrapped around hers so that she wasn't so singular in showing affection. "Everyone should start taking daily vitamins," he suddenly called out. "Medicine cabinet is to your right, Richard, up higher." To Raquel he gave a knowing look, wanting her to be healthier and get the proper care she needed to stay that way.
Lorey spread butter over her waffles, along with some jam. She didn't know what she was doing, but what did it matter? It would be good to her, especially with so many caring people around. She returned the little bumps and nudges, laughing here and there when she nearly toppled over from the effort just to move him with her smaller frame.

Everything seemed just so perfect. Nothing, it seemed, could shatter this perfect moment between the four...except maybe the doorbell. Raquel stood, since she didn't have any dishes, or food that needed her attention. "I'll get it..." She smiled before turning to greet whoever was at the door. Upon opening it, A girl, roughly Raquel's age, if not a bit younger, stumbled in, falling to her knees. The poor girl looked beaten, tired, and filthy. She had tears in hr eyes and her poor ankle looked swollen and purple. "Please, You've got to tell me, is there a Richard Mentaro here!?" The girl pleaded desperately, as a small furry creature joined her ,equally as desperate if not a bit annoyed. Raquel froze when she heard Richard's last name. "Mentaro...?" She said distantly, suddenly her whole body numb. Enty didn't wait fora reply, he took off running until he slid into the kitchen, yelling incoherently *as if he was coherent before* "Yarah gardle beesnoo!!!!" He shouted, seeing Richard. He ran towards him, jumping into his arms and hugging him tightly. Richard looked surprised but knew something must have been wrong. "Enty! What on earth are you doing here?!" He shouted, happy to see his little buddy.
