Yes. Because it's an easily accessible rabbit-thing. X3

I'm not saying it's a bad item, but I kinda' think that now it's becoming a crutch, since 90% of the avatar's have a pose or a few poses of one or the other. *Shrugs.*

I like everybody's so far!

Just one thing on da_simple1's, I agree that the blue doesn't really match too much this time around. I really like matching avs, though, so you might not want to go too much on my opinion. ^^ I think the blue in his sweater is just a little too bright... maybe go with a softer color? (Like a lighter blue? - perhaps on his shoes, too, so that they match.)

I guess I should work on mine, now. biggrin

Cute~ I like it, though I think the Nestegg looks a bit funky (I'm not a fan of that pose for the item, but that's just me XD) at the same time though, it kind of matches the Tama's Basket and the bits of red you've got. I dig it!

The point of this contest is to coordinate items in an Easter theme. Since there are a limited number of "rabbits", then it stands to reason that any or all rabbit items will pop up with great frequency.

It's not like the theme is "spring" and we're seeing these pop up over and over again.

I don't see them as a "crutch" at all. I think that's like saying the rabbit-ears are a "crutch." x.x It just doesn't make sense.

(Also, I don't see where 90% of the entries have them? x.o)

You're right, I should expect to see any of the rabbit items to pop up in this contest. I guess I have a pet peeve for seeing some items appear frequently, since most of the contests I have been in don't have that often unless the item is assigned.

I guess I just threw a number onto the percentage since it seemed that every other entry or so had one of the items in discussion. o.o

I guess I can understand. I get a little peeved when there are four of one item in an avatar. X3

I just figure on it getting used by at least a few people, cause it's cute & fits the theme. And I find it's not too busy (if you're only using it once).

Mmm...I like that you've gone with the chickies, I'm just wondering if there's a better dress/clothing choice? Maybe something closer to the color of the other chickies, or maybe even something that might match the butterfly wings instead?

Also, maybe some bracelets or gloves?

*thinks* I hope those suggestions help some? ^^

I like the original one you posted though the butterfly wings stand out a bit too much. You might want to replace them with a different wing set or leave them off completely. You also might need a more earthy color on the legs instead of the black. I love the chickie theme though. Very cute :3
