Aki chuckled softly. "Not in particular. We are taking the Universe." She smiled sweetly. looking back up to Arin. "What do you say, my love? It seems he has some fight in him, and you did say we needed fresh recruits..."
Arin stared the boy down, putting on her scouter and scanning the saiyan. Seventy-two... Hmmm... he was lower than Aki was when she was first recruited... But he was a saiyan... She might be able to whip him into shape in time for their arrival on Nexum. She nodded softly.
"Good! We'll need to be training you... you're power level doesn't seem to live up to our rigid standards." Aki stood up and walked toward the boy. "Let's go train. There'll be time for rest later." She kissed Arin and walked to the training rooms, not looking back to watch the kid. She knew it was her job to train the newbie... Otherwise he might not survive the first fight...
Arin stood up and waited until they were gone. She took a deep breath. "Alice... Clean this up... Put the tails in the medical cooler." She turned and left, walking to the training area herself. "And pump the gravity to sixteen."
"Yes, milady." And the extra gravity hit like a ton of bricks.

Aki was taken off-guard by the gravity shift, but had expected something like it. She didn't think that Arin would let them get to Nexum without having a bit of an edge. She fought her way to stay standing, though, and stood still until she would feel more comfortable with the huge increase in their weight.
Arin tried to continue walking without altering her pace. She wanted to look natural in this environment. She was a saiyan, after all, and she was to be queen... There was nothing that would stand in her way. She would turn the gravity to twenty before they got to Nexum, and she would be going down with twice the strength she needed... But she had a feeling that she might need even more...

Rota feels the gravity increase suddenly, and is surprised of how little he has trained.then again, it has been 5 days, and he's only JUST startedgetting into serious training. falling on the beck and call of the woman he heard being called Aki, he attempts to follow.just as he was asked to.here's hoping to make a good impression.

Aki was glad she'd chosen to stand still. She wasn't quite strong enough to keep walking yet. She stood still and worked her muscles slowly, starting with her hands, prying them from her body to try and move them in the gravity. It was unnerving to not be in control of your body, but she'd gotten used to this feeling, it having persisted since Arin bumped the gravity the last time... Aki was glad for it, though... It made her time with Arin all the more precious.
Arin had continued her stride without the slightest faltering. She walked by the two effortlessly and continued toward the droids hanging on a wall. She was going to have herself a hard spar as soon as this was done with and she felt completely at home. She would spend the time until then getting ready for the fight. But she had to take her next step. She had to keep her composure, even if she should fail.

Aki managed to work her hands up, and was able to flex her fingers. She started to work on her upper arms, too... She was slowly going through the works one body part at a time. Slow, but effective. She may not be as at home in this as Arin, but then again she was a human... She lacked the abilities that Rota and Arin possessed...
For now... Arin knew what she wanted... She wanted Aki to be a saiyan... Being human was a frailty that Arin couldn't stand Aki having... But it did seem to have its benefits... Aki seemed to be a much quicker learner than Arin, and she seemed to be a natural at more than just matters of the body. Saiyans, from those Arin had seen, were stupid and rash. Arin pondered this as she stepped up to a computer panel and began fiddling with settings.

huh, guess I'm more accustomed to gravity than I thought rota, with now a little more confidence, had sucessfuly taken his first step in new gravity. he braced himself for the next step, hoping to continue progress.c'mon, you can do this! just one step at a time man, one step at a time.

Aki rolled her shoulders and her neck which seem to have loosened up greatly, now that she was getting used to this gravity. She closed her eyes and started to stretch her middle, testing her limits in the gravity, keeping her feet firmly planted. It was getting much easier now, as it was wont to do. She nodded and bent down to touch her toes, still wearing her underarmor outfit.
Arin continued to work at the computer, setting settings for these things that would challenge her... They were all just a little bit less powerful than the saiyans who had just been on her ship... She now had a baseline to compare to the entire family, and could train as if she was fighting their guards. At least then she would be able to take their cannon fodder without a problem.

Aki bent down and grabbed on to her toes and held the pose for a minute, rising back up and stretching down to her right leg alone, to get her core ready for the exertion. She was half doing this for practicality, and half for Arin's benefit. She smiled to herself and continued, well aware of her body in the skin-tight outfit.
Arin lost several moments of work, just staring at Aki and admiring her body... She was almost perfect just the way that she was. There was almost nothing that Arin would change... Except for the reluctant addition of a tail to give her the life to enjoy her body and her time with Arin... There just weren't enough years to spend their lives together with Aki being so... Fleeting... There had to be a way to fix it... There had to be...
