I really don't want to know every time someone posts in one of my friggin' subscribed threads. And if I gotta comment or somethin I want to see THAT in the bubble above my head. :/ what was wrong with the last way they did it?
I liked being able to see the car and house I don't have on the old page..

I think they want to bring a more personalized feeling to the site, with My Gaia as the crux.
They have addressed its many issues, though, and briefly mentioned fixing them in the Gaia Blog.

The Bento Bunny Drama.
Has anyone else noticed it?
Gaia released an item called Bento Bunny in their recent Cash Shop update. QueenOfDorks, an artist on DA, raised a fit claiming the rabbit looked far too much like this entry.
Curious, I then read all 41 pages of crazy debate in a Site Feedback thread regarding the matter. Both sides had valid points; while the pixeling was quite similar, her work was far from original and the concept might have been a coincidence. Then the plot thickened, with claims that QoD discovered through a friend who works for Gaia's art team that the item was an intentional imitation. Then people start insisting the artist who made the item told staff not to release it and they did anyway. The rumors piled up. Someone found QoD Gaia account and found her posts to be riddled with nothing but "you stole my art" posts.
Now the girl says Lanzer personally apologized and the matter is resolved. And an ED article regarding her history was published, accurately summing up the events.

I saw that after, and my delighted/gleeful squealing turned into an outraged snarl of distaste.
I assume it's because they want to just try it out and see how the general population feels about the concept of animated items.

I want that, but animated, lol.
they'll probably keep the animation, everyone'll love it and it'll be an easy source of income. Would be shitty for users with bad/slow internet though.

I am sad they keep taking away the purple. sad
Tipping is eh, whatever. xD And ungh... front page of guild looked weird a few times... well when I click 'guilds' on the bottom. Didn't really like it cuz it didn't have time and date of last post in most recent thread. I like the layout it has now. I wish they just start changing things that actually NEED TO BE CHANGED instead of that kinda stuff, which is perfectly fine. >_<

I like the changes. They are trying to bring guild's look closer to Gaia's newer layout design, and I'm looking forward to the day that we drop the blueish bar / little swirl cloud crap entirely.
From what I read during Spring Cleaning, the coding was being looked at, and developers have a better idea as to how they can move forward with big updates in the future.

Jesus, when is the fraggin' event gonna start?
I have like eight stickers so far...or nine.
Have you guys been getting the stickers everyday too?
Lotsa people have been bawwing about not getting one everyday, but I think it's kinda cool that it's a limited thing and they're soulbound. I'm wonderin' what the prizes are gonna be.
Also, I have yet to figure out a team to join. Louie or Edmund since Brin-y doesn't seem to be an option.
