"I have no reason to be human anymore..." Suki said, not caring if they heard her or not. She changed into her wolf form and got on the bed as her fellow wolves got on as well. Suki laid down and rested her head on one Yuki's back. She was the first wolf Suki met and was always able to make Suki feel better.
Toushi was a bit worried about Suki.

The Beast nodded, understanding Suki more then many others would, he had been in this form for many years, and through it he had learned that humans have a short memory, even for friends...

Kasai watched as Suki went back over to the bed. Then she looked over at the Beast. The contents of the note from earlier came to mind. She pushed the thoughts away from her mind, then asked the Beast, "So, is there anything I can do to help you become human again?"

The Beast smiled at Kasai, it was strange to pull off with a canine muzzle but he managed it nonetheless, "Kasai, before I met you I was nothing but a monster, a wild animal roving around without a mind. Then I met you, and everything changed." The Beast stood and moved over to Kasai, taking her hands in his furred paws, "You see, when I injected myself I encountered a...side affect I didn't expect. My mind was still there, but so was the mind of the beast I had turned into. I went insane, and with my human mind weakened the beast mind took over. I had turned into a wild animal, but when I met you....something changed, I began to get stronger, and....by helping you get rid of Oni, I helped regain my sanity. You saved me Kasai, thank you..."

"Your welcome," Kasai said, smiling, "And I should be thanking you, too. I'd still be possessed by Oni and be hurting others at the Coliseum right now if it wasn't for you." She stood up and hugged the Beast, "Thanks."

The Beast smiled, wrapping his furred arms around Kasai, holding her close to him, "It's the least I could do."

Kasai smiled. Then she remembered about Aoi. She broke the hug and said, "We still have to find Aoi... It's been too long, so I don't think Fatal would still be in Subspace..."

The Beast nodded, "Yeah, I thi-" The Beast closed his eyes and clutched his chest suddenly, falling to his knees, "Ug-urk..." The Beast began to twitch and writhe, spasiming on the floor.

"What's happening?!" Toushi asked in concern when she saw what was happening to the Beast.

Beast's fur began fall off, his claws fading and turning into finger nails as he began to return to human. Once it was over Terson lay on the floor, human once more, but still in the ripped and torn clothes he had worn as the Beast. The exposed areas of his body showed tight muscles and well taken care of skin, not the body one would expect on a scientist.

Kasai silently gasped. He's human again! She helped Terson sit up. "Are you okay?" she asked him.

Terson put a hand to his head and blinked, "Wha-....did it work?" Terson looked down at himself and turned slightly red, seeing his torn clothes and bare chest.
