Xumbra I wouldn't suggest you to get Linux. It's an entire operating system. That was why I was grinning after I said that.
It looks like this: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/28352378/
And in case you don't know, Windows XP is an operating system. Mac OS X is an operating system. Yep I'm definitally sticking to XP Pro...

[grins]
When you guys RP (if you ever do), do you just type in your post in Gaia first, or do you write in a word processing program first?
I do the latter. It spell checks as I type.

When I used to, I just typed it in Gaia.
I have a spell check program installed on Firefox, so I don't have to worry about that.

I write, and I've had a few poems published. :// I'm actually thinking about starting a book about my two characters but I'm lazy-- and the story is rather complex.

Ooh. You got a few poems published? So, like, do you still get royalties now from those poems?

Xumbra Ooh. You got a few poems published? So, like, do you still get royalties now from those poems? Well, the reason I'm not feeling all too proud about that is that I got mail asking if poetry.com could put my poems in their books. Meaning, basically that, no, I was NOT getting paid for it, and that they were lifelessly searching for random poets to add to their "Big book of poetry," so that the poets who had their poems added, would of course want to buy the published book.
neutral . . .
I have had my parents turn and tell me that I need to publish my stuff, and then I end up getting really hyped-up about it--- Before I suddenly turn to copyrights, read it for five minutes, and press the 'X' button. u_U;
Complicated things such as rights scare me, and I'm so paranoid about people stealing my stuff. Plus most of my poems are so old, and I'm sure a lot of people know how it feels to go back and look at old work and be like, "BURN IT ALIVE!1111!!!!1" Sooo... basically put, no, I do NOT get royalties from my poems. I barely even write (good) poetry anymore.

I'm pretty sure you can get back at the poetry thing again.

Meep. I like RPing and writing fanfiction about things I don't like. That way, I can kill off everyone who annoyed me. twisted

I've never written fanfiction -- I'd rather write my own stories. Usually they end up pretty poorly.

Yeah. They're not very pretty. I still have an unfinished short story on my computer. Everything is done: plot, characters, etc. It's just that it doesn't flow when you read it from beginning to end.
