"Hello..." Rachael said to the girl as she came in. She pushed her glasses up her nose and smiled at her. "I'm Rachael...otherwise known as Mole..." She held out a hand. "Nice to meet you." When Scott walked in. "Hello Professer...." She decided to ask. "You haven't seen Cathy around have you?"

Jamie stuck his tongue out at Scott when he called him James, and then in an undertone to Teagen he joked, "I'm so sick of him calling me that, I'm about to start throwing punches." He shook his head, and poured some milk on his cereal, and munched away at it, listening to everyone else.

" hi,Rachael i'm karly, but you can call me kidd....um... and its nice to meat you" kidd greated the girl and her friend, and breathed a sie of realif. the school was welcomeing. maybe this place could work. see glanced around the room, none of the other kids looks as different as she did, but they were all still mutants. for some reason that comforted here.
just than another man entered the room. this one older that the kids in the room. she anouneced himself as Scott summers. he was the man Kade had said ran the school.
"hello" svcott said with warmth, "Welcome to Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning. You must be Karly. I'm Scott Summers, is there anything I can do to help you?"
kidd was sorta surprised on how much mr. summers knew. she looked questionly down at her pappers. how did he know? oh well.
"Um, you can call me Kidd, don't you need these?" she held out her cumply pappers that she stole from her school. she saw summers puzzled expetion and quickly deduced that he didn't.
" well, any way couls i ask you a few questions?" she had a million questions for the headmaster, but she didn't want to bager him. she had to select the right ones.

Regina looked at the gates of the institute with longing. She'd been gone so long with Gen that she'd almost forgotten what the place looked like. She glanced at the girl beside her. Pushing her brunette, now waist length hair past her face and shoulder, Regina wondered just what awaited them inside.
Gen on the other hand, had kept her hair trimmed to the spikey mass of black and purple streaks. The time they had been gone had given her time to think about her situation and the greeting from the institute would give her a good idea on just what she wanted to do. Green eyes skimmed the area and she noticed a lot more bikes and activity there than before.
"Well... here we go." Regina said with false confidence, pushing in the code to enter.

Scott looked Kidd over, and answered her question. "You can ask me whatever you want, and I'll answer to the best of my abilities." He said, and waited for her to decide what to ask.
Then, in the back of his head, he heard Jean trying to contact him.
Scott, there's someone at the front gate. I think Regina is back.
Scott smiled slightly, and said to the students behind him. "You may want to go outside for a moment folks. An old friend is back." He looked back at Kidd. "Right, you had questions."

Curious Rachael nodded. "I'll go let them in..." She started outside trying to puzzle out what friends could be returning. Stepping outside she walked towards the gate. Since the gate was beyond her vision all she noticed were two blurry spots. They slowly came into focus as she got closer. One had already let the two of them in. "Regina?? Gen?!" She smiled. "Hey! Welcome back!!"

Regina grinned. "Hey Rachael. How are things going?"
Gen nodded to Rachael, still wondering how that one girl had faired. "The institute looks pretty good... what's new?"

Smiling she gave them both a hug. "Depends on who you ask, based on the last year it hasn't been really great.." She shrugged. "I think its getting better though...slowly but surely its getting better..." Looking at Gen. "Not to much, an old friend from California came ot visit, not sure where she went though, but other than that not a whole lot." She had to ask. "So where have you two been? If I'm not prying of cource?"

How easy it was... how easy it was. Two targets down in the span of thirty minutes... and now was the real pleasure. Now was the real game for Jade. That place that would hurt and haunt her prisoner the most. She had the Xavier Institute on her hit list. There were quite a few names on her list of targets who pissed off King Pin in some way or another.
John Allderdyce... for torching a bank that held things of value to King Pin.
Wolverine... for a number of things.
Jacen Daniels... because that would break the prisoner.
Regina Colt... for the same reasons. No other but to hurt Penance... and to get more X-Men out of the way.
Those were but a few. And her job was going to be easy. Jade was prepared to gain access to the Xavier Institute. The information she was given was from the best source and it was the upper hand she needed. She was able to stealth her way in through the back with ease. She knew where the cameras were and the sensors. All she had to do was to pick her first target.
"This one will be sweet and easy," She thought to herself and slid into the dorm room of Regina Colt. She sat on a chair in the dark with a blade in each hand and waited as long as she had to.

"Just had... things to do." Regina answered for them both. "Lives to sort out, thoughts to organize. You know, that kinda stuff. I need to find Professor Xavier and find out if I'm still doing the leader thing or not. I haven't heard from Penny... so I assume she's still off on her own."
Gen wandered off, bored with the cozyness of the two xmen. She didn't feel very comfortable with teh situation and began to wonder if she really belonged there.

Jamie curiously followed Rachael outside a few seconds after she had left, and when he saw who it was sprinted out to greet them, first getting Regina in a bearhug, then grabbing Gen as she walked away.
"My God, I can't believe you're finally back! It's been more than a year!" He then backed up and put his hand on his hips. "And I can't believe you left without saying goodbye!" He said in an angry voice, a scowl on his face. He then burst out grinning and hugged them both again. "I'm just kidding of course. That's how I would have done it." He then dropped the grin and looked a little more serious. "Regina. . . we um. . . don't actually know what happened to Penny. . ."

{This is the point in the movie when you start yelling at the television, and trying to warn the main characters.}
Morgan stepped from the the gray interior of the Danger Room, heading for the showers. He had managed to keep himself from sweating too much, but he was still only human.
Letting the hot water flow over him, he went over the training sim in his mind, looking for any flaws in his technique. He probably could have been more efficient, and accomplished it faster, but he liked to be thorough. There was less chance to be caught if there was no one left to see him. Cameras were useless if the people behind them could no longer see.
He dried himself off with a towel, and pulled on a pair of shorts. His clothing was dirty, and there was no point in putting dirty clothing to a clean body. Besides, it wasn't like he cared if anyone saw him in his shorts. Returning to his room, he dumped his clothing down the laundry chute, and pulled on a new outfit: a lightweight black tunic, and a pair of black pants. Even though he wasn't training anymore, he kept a set of kunai hanging on his belt. What could he say? He was paranoid.

"I understand...I thought about doing that to but I stayed here....mainly because they had an earthquake back in California and stuff like that reaks havic on my powers...." She looked at Gen. "I think your stuff is still in your room....come on we can go check..." She grabbed her friends arm and pulled her off. "Whats bothering you Gen?" She asked curiously.

Gen shrugged. "I just don't feel really in place here. I don't... really know why either."
Regina nodded to Jamie. "I know hse and Jacen left for their own personal reasons... which left me in charge. Then I had to go. I wasnt' ready for being first in command. I am now if I need to be but... Oh my room." She made a small face. "It'll be so strange not seeing Penny there though... or her mess."

"Oh, I understand...." Seh said with a smile. "I'll try my best ot make you feel like you belong...." She lightly punched her arm. "Ahh, here we are..." She opened Gen's door and peeked inside. "Yup everythings still here..."
