Joachim rolled his eyes and sat next to the enterance.
"You're afraid of a bunch of flaming Keese? Boy, there are WORSE things lurking down there. I suggest you MOVE." He really didn't have time to deal with a child's folly. He had to attend to the grave stones...They just don't clean themselves.
"Oh Still....I have to help...." Solia was glaring at Joachim, who seemed to be utterly passive about Leo's plight.

Rose floated up tward Leo. "Here!" She, being a poe, gave a guiding path to safety.

[[I wouldn't.  ]] Leo ducked and dodged the Keese, holding his arms over his head. Saphirix lead them down one of the side tunnels from the room, but the Poe from earlier appeared and seemed to want him to go a different way. That was probably the exit, but he couldn't leave Saphirix alone to fight the flaming flappers. Leo turned and ran after Saphirix, yelling, "I have to help her!" The path Saphirix had taken ran down, deeper under the ground, where a green light could be seen. At the end of the path, pools of corrosive liquid awaited as green swamp flames danced on torches in the wall. Hunched figures lay in wait in the acidic goo, and their shrieks could paralyze even the most hardened warriors. The ReDead.

Sapphirix lay in awe at the corroding room, shocked to see such terrifyling creatures such as Redeads. When she sensed Leo there, she immediately flew to his side and held on to his shirtsleeve with a bit of fright.
"I'm sorry. I could have led you to this horrid place! I'm a really bad fairy T.T" she cried. But was happy to be with someone.
"Let's get out of here, quickly." Sapphirix whispered, knowing that any loud noises could mean their doom in this room.

Leo had sprinted after Saphirix, and when she flew to his side he had stopped abruptly. But now, he looked down and found that he was barely balanced on the edge of a ledge. He cold fall either way. Preferably backwards though. He shivered in fear as he looked at the ReDead, trying to edge backwards. However, his foot his a stone and he tumbled backwards with a scream.
Elk had stood next to Joachim, waiting for any sign of Leo. But when he heard the scream, he acted. Jumping down the hole, he disappeared into the darkness of the passageways. The string between them glowed in the darkness for his eyes alone, he hit the ground and made long jumps to follow the string.

Sapphirix let out a tiny scream as well. This was definetly not a good sign now...a cracking out bones and sinew could be heard through the bubble of poison, the redeads had awaken, and they could smell their new meals. Sapphirix was frozen, just as Leo could have been.
"W-We're d-d-doomed..."

Sighing, Joachim dropped in after Elk. He hated dealing with the redeads. Well, It could always be worse. "Your boy is very unwise...." Joachim was trotting after Elk, seeming calm, despite the situation.
"And so are you." Turning his trot to a gallop, Joachim was racing past Elk and right into the redead's lair.
"You both should have brought fire."
((LOL I don't mind. Joachim 's just being a jerk is all.))

Elk fumed, "He is not unintelligent, just inexperienced. Plus he seems to cre for others safety before his own..." He loped alongside Joachim until the Phyri sped ahead. Elk took this opportunity to concentrate a good amount of magic in his palms. Upon reaching Leo, he flung the magic towards him, producing a barrier around both the boy and the Fairy. Creating his own around his feet, he counteracted the acidic goo and stood beside Joachim, prepared to fight.
The ReDead had sensed the life force of the beings that had stumbled on their lair, and they were on the move. They surrounded Joachim and Elk.
Leo looked surprised as the two sped into the chamber. He trembled as more of the ReDead screeched and awakened, but the barrier Leo could see Elk had set up around him and Saphirix kept alot of the chilling aura of the ReDead from them.

Puffing out his chest, Joachim reared, kicking several of the redead aside. "Bloody freaks! May the shadows have your souls!" Hissing he went to the way and ran his hoof along the rock, creating sparks.
Suddenly, the good began to catch fire, along with the redeads.
"Move! The fire will not stay for long!"

((No prob Vamps. We all need our glory moments. This is Joachims biggrin ))
Sapphirix tapped Leo's shoulder and pointed to the exit.
"We gotta get going! You heard the Phyrie! Let's go; your friend and him will be okay!!" She tugged him over to the exit of the chamber,the screeching killed her ears, but they couldn't help that.
"There's fire too! We'll all burn if we don't hurry out!"

Leo felt the tugs and looked back at Elk worriedly. "But..."
Elk used his magic to manipulate the flame and scorched more of the ReDead. He looked back to Leo and yelled, "Go!" He watched as the Fairy lead Leo away, tugging him on, and Elk blasted another ReDead. He jumped back to the ledge and waited for Joachim as he threw more fire at the creepers.

Still a bit angry, he gave one last kick to a flaming redead. "I hate playing rescuer." Jumping back to Elk, he regained his calm look. "Now, you move before you are consumed." He pushed at the man's arm. No point in being polite.
Outside, Solia was waiting for them to emerge, towel in hand.

Sapphirix, held onto Leo's little finger and yanked him through the winding corrridors of the cave. Soon enough, she could smell the air outside.
"Earth! Fresh air! We're almost there Leo!" she seemed to say in a cheerful tone. She couldn't WAIT to get out of this place. It was starting to snuffle up her breathing and her magic meter.
