I am SO excited for this show. We're playing the main song from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, a mesh of a bunch of different songs, a sort of remake of Beethoven's 9th, but best of all...JOURNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world! She took a midnight train goin' anyyyywheeeere...) I am so excited for this. It sounds like it's not the typical 80's theme. =D

We are having our music written this year. (we had part 3 of our music [Connexus] written for us last year too) Our theme/title is: And Then They Came For Me. It is from a 1945 poem, And Then They Came For Me. We should be taking this to BOA Regional in Indianapolis this year if we can raise enough money. The poem is:
First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me.

our show this year is little shop of horrors and my friend, who is the drum major, has to dress up like seymore(not sure if i spelled that right)

This year, our show is the music of Bernard Hermann. Horror movie music. Go to iTunes to hear some of it. The second movement is basically The theme from Vertigo. Twisted Nerve is another song in it.
It fits that Our state's competition is on Halloween.

Our show this year is called La Nouba (means to party in french) and its from Cirque Du soleil if you wanna listen to the songs go to my profile, i was dorky enough to find it on playlist.com lol. well actually only 2 of the songs.... distorted & reve rouge.

were doing a rock theme.i forgot some of them but i kno were playing metallica and led zepilline.its gonna be awesome!

Lunar_of_the_Night Mercury Madness36 Our theme is "Searching." There's three songs...two of them are from the musical "Ragtime." It's going to be super awesome XD. FIRST OFF: I HATE YOU MM36, YOU BEAT ME HERE. SECOND;It's actually called 'The search' and the movements are: Joy-Joseph Curiale Your Daddy's son- Ragtime Wheels of a Dream-Ragtime WHATEVER LUNEY AND YOUR CRAZY FLUTE OF CRAZY. -ahem- Yes. We're in the same band.

Our theme is centered around water, I think. I'm not completely sure yet. Our closer is called "Joy" from Awakening.

Two years ago, before I was in marching band, apparently our band got to watch a heartbeat show at BOA, or something...they said it was crazy cool. =D

Our show this year is Beyond Aspen.
it's all based on a song called Aspen. i think that's what it's called.
i'm soo freaking excited. it's super hard.
and the music is intense.
the pit is a major feature this year which is amazing since i'm in the pit. biggrin
i'll try to find a link to the music and ill post it later.
