Well, I want this role play to live, unlike every other one I've ever joined, so I made this:

I hope the style of writing I used was okay. It was something I thought up on the spot, would it still count as third person? I'm quite sure my grammar wasn't as impeccable as it could have been, but my forays with tutoring have been fruitless thus-far. B u t in looking o u t w a r d together in the s a m e direction

Okay =] Tell me if there are any awkward parts that need to be ironed out. I'm afraid there isn't much I can do about semi-colons. I stuck them where it felt okay and probably missed at least a few ^-^;

Basically, if you are using an and or because, or if one of the parts of the sentence that needs to be separated is not a complete sentence on its own, then a comma is appropriate. If you want to just sort of stick two complete sentences together, you should use a semicolon; they make for more sophisticated syntax.
