((OOC: Cliff's voice is a little annoying... -strangles-))
Faer watched the gun drop in slow motion. Hm... Kelbora is really out of it isn't she? Looking over at Dion, she prodded him with her foot. "Get that would you? I doubt she'd want to lose it."
Shifting Kelbora slightly on her back she looked at the two behind her. "Are we ready to go? Follow closely, and do not get lost, for you'd go insane in moments without my bubble. I would not want to search for hours only to bring back a blabbering fool."
Turning again she shifted her weight to her left side and began walking, her eyes closed as if viewing a map in her mind. Her steps were quick and measured in paces. She knew the traverse way by heart. But she needed to concentrate.

"To the exit,we mu-"Nemesis world turned to a bright red,the side of his exploding to make way for the passing bullet. His head jerked against the wall, wide and filled with shock, but he kept his grip on the princesses, falling forward so they would be protected under his cloak, even as the firestorm raged around them from Kel's second shot.He lay sprawled across the floor,a pool of blood slowly expanding out from his shattered skull. Then the Lord General twitched, voices whispering in the darkness of the void as unholy power ebbed through his body with thick dark veins appearing all across his head.
His limbs twitched, loud noises filling the air as bone regrew and flesh expanded over the receding wound, till his pale flesh covered it once more. His eyes open, both pupils pure dark.He took breathe once more, rising to his feet, the ground vibrating with his rage.In the time he'd been out,the whole place had gone to hell, explosiong were wracking the mansion and the place was in utter chaos"GUARDSMEN!DEFEND THE PRINCESSES!"He bellowed,,overpowering the roar of the flames and bringing sanity back to those who had none.Gripping the princesses arm's he ordered the guards to call in a Dropship for pick up on the roof, and that if anyone impeded their path to the vessel they had order's to shoot to kill
"But sir their just party go-"Nemesis backhanded the man with such force it collapsed his skull"YOU!Get me that damn dropship! Now then, your highnesses will stay by me till we have arrived! The rest of you, hunt down those damn wastelander's!I want them alive, but if they resist kill them!"

(( @_@ So much happening at once! Please correct me if I make a mistake.))
Verleid clenched his teeth, holding back a hiss of pain as Nemesis dug the hot claws into his cheek. He dared not speak again, despite the accusations of aiding the enemy. How was he supposed to know who that woman was? He'd only spoken a couple sentences to her before Nemesis burst in and gave her the opportunity to slip away.
He watched Nemesis walk away then turned to the dance floor where Aida had just stopped a fistfight. At least she was doing her job. He walked swiftly in her direction to tell her to keep a lookout for the woman and anybody with her.
"Aida."
The mercenary turned around to face her employer. "What?"
"Did you see that woman I was speaking with earlier?"
"Yeah. What about her?"
"Keep an eye out for her."
Aida raised an eyebrow and glanced at the slash marks across the vampire's cheek. "What's the matter? Get rejected?"
Verleid's gaze hardened. "This is not a joke, Aida. She might be an enemy."
Whatever response the mercenary was about to give was interrupted by a crash from overhead. The almighty Commander from earlier fell onto the ground, almost flying right off the balcony. Following him was a woman who looked strangely familiar...
Kelbora! It was the Lady of the Fallen! Now she understood why the woman Verleid was with had looked so familiar. Kelbora herself had come to crash the party. If Aida could take her down...she wouldn't need another job for the rest of her life! She started for the stairs, only to be yanked back by her arm.
"Leave them. The Lord General can handle her on his own. Search for others." Aida pulled forward, but the vampire did not release his grip. "Do you want to lose your job when you are already ahead?" When Aida said nothing, Verleid continued. "Good. Now go find anything else you can."
Aida tried not to glare at her employer as she wretched her arm from his grip and walked in the other direction. She didn't get far before the air suddenly went cold and she felt as if her whole body had been plunged into icy water. It was coming from Kelbora and the General. Aida tried to escape the cold by getting further away from the two, but it didn't help much. The cold didn't last long, however. Within a few moments, there was an explosion of fire.
Luckily for Aida, several vampires had unknowingly acted as living shields and protected her from the blast. This place was going down in flames, and fast. The question was what to do. Mr. High and Mighty Lord General seemed to have the three royal brats safe. It would probably be good to make sure her employer stayed alive as well since she wasn't sure if any of the other vampires would actually pay her. Most of them just seemed to want her head on a silver platter and her blood served in wine glasses, though she wouldn't put it past Verleid to try to dispose of her once he decided she was no longer useful. Of course, that could work both ways. Though for tonight, at least, he had to be there to hand her the money. She looked to where she had last seen him, but it was hard to tell if he was still there with all the vampires screaming and running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Well, he seemed like the type who wouldn't hesitate to flee should his life be in danger. Worst came to worst, she'd have to see who else she could get her pay from.
Deciding to see if she could find the Wastelanders, Aida hopped through one of the broken windows. It was almost as chaotic outside as it was inside, most people running as far away from the building as they could while a few guardsmen were trying to search for the Wastelanders.
"Hey, any sign of the Wastelanders out here?" Aida asked one of the guards.
He shook his head. "None. We're searching the whole perimeter, but they don't seem to be anywhere. It's like they just vanished."
Aida left the man to try searching further away from the building. There was no way they were still inside, it would be foolish for them not to have escaped by now. But how did they get by so unnoticed? If the guards were doing their jobs right, at least one of them should have seen them flee. All this security and the party still ended up being attacked at such a high scale. Whoever got this thing together clearly didn't do as good of a job as he thought. She pushed against the crowd, figuring they would have taken the back route out to avoid being spotted, but there was no sign of anybody suspicious. Somehow, they had gotten out unnoticed, and they were probably long gone by now.
The mercenary headed back into the mansion to assist the General in getting the brats to safety. His orders had been to kill anybody who was in the way, so at least she could take a few vampires down while she was at it. Luckily, he wasn't hard to spot among the crowd. Aida made her way towards him without getting too close; not only did she want to stay out of his reach, but the air around him was unbearable, and she knew better than to risk getting close. On the way over, she found Verleid.
"The Wastelanders got away." She yelled above the screaming both to her employer and, if he could hear her, the General. "I don't know how they slipped past all the security stationed outside, but they found a way out. Unless they are still in the building, which is unlikely, I don't think you're going to catch them."
She stayed ahead of Nemesis, helping to clear his path. Most everyone who knew he was coming their way scrambled to move, but with all the chaos, some didn't realize and had to be moved.
"You are sure they got away?" Verleid asked, keeping away from Nemesis as well.
"Unless the guards are completely incompetent. They had this planned, and they had it planned well. They knew what they were doing. Though it's no surprise since they had The Shadow of the Fallen amongst them." She used the title Kelbora's enemies had given her, figuring they'd kill her on the spot if she sounded like she supported the woman. She hated to admit it, but Kelbora had played her part well. The mercenary hadn't even recognized her until it was too late, and now she had escaped.
--
Selene had been near Celeste amongst the crowd when all hell broke loose. She clung to her sister as the two made their way to the Lord General, pushing their way through all the frantic guests. Why was this happening? People were being killed all around her, either crushed by falling pillars burning to death or being trampled. The night had started out so promising, how had it turned into this?
As Nemesis escorted the three sisters to safety, Selene stayed close to Celeste since Rose was on the opposite side of the Lord General. She tried to keep her eyes fixed ahead of her, not wanting to see what was going on around her and just wanting to get out safely with her sisters. She watched as people scrambled to get out of there way, others being forced away by a woman who seemed to have no qualms following Nemesis' orders to shoot when necessary. She could only hope a good number of the guests made it out safely.

Dion Zeromus Wastelander/Pomme de Sang Status: 87% Mental Charge: 100% Emotional State: Concentrating Location: The Void Current Mission: Escape the Vampire Wars Anniversary in LA
As Dion was reaching for the radio Faer was tossing him, the room suddenly got chilled, and then the door exploded into frozen splinters, arcing across the room. Dion tried to dive out of hte way, but a rather large peice still found it's mark. As Dion lay on hte ground, a chunk of wood the size of his forearm inbedded into his side, Kelbora and a heavily armored Vampire began a fight that led them to the ballroom. When Kelbora had sent Dion through teh shadows, he had landed in an empty room, devoid of anything but chains and a table with odd tools on it. Dion wasn't paying attention too much, as he was trying to resist and ignore the spike of ice in his gut. When Faer picked him up, after gods know how long, merely collapsed, before finaly yanking the shard out. "GAH!! Sonvabitch!" Dion growled, putting his hands on the wound to try and stunch some of the bleeding. While he did have a faster rate of healing beyond most people, it would certainly take a bit of time for him to heal from this, and boy would that be one hell of a scar. However, all attention on his wound was lost as Kelbora dropped one of her precious .45 magnums. Reaching down, Dion picked it up, before following Faer, holding an arm and hand on the wound, attempting to slow the bleeding, even as he felt his strength be drained elsewhere, as though from sort of connection, and the only kind Dion knew of was with Kelbora. He followed Faer as best he could, but his steps were slowing, and their trod becoming more of dragging, as more and more of his energies were drained to aid in Kelbora's healing.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rose was still huddling a bit too close to Nemisis, but not in the seeking of pleasure, but in true, unmitigated fear. She had thought only Nemisis, and her Father had that sort of power.
Even as she thought this, Celeste was striding purposly, looking like a calm in teh storm of the chaos caused by the, Emperor damn them, Wastelanders that had somehow infiltrated the party, and preped an eleborate escape plan, if not for the Lord General. Now it was merely a dash ot hte roof to escape themselves.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the bombers reached the target area, the crew began to listen for the codes to start, only to see the place in flames, and combat raging around it. They were double cued, and those flames were it. So, as they got over the mansion, they began to drop their payload, a mixture of high-explosive and UV yeild bombs. The flashs of explosions and blinding blazes of hte UV bombs began to cover the area, slowly, oh so slowly, creeping it's way towards the mansion where the ball had been set.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Celeste's head snapped up as the sounds of explosions began to began a steady march to the mansion. "Lord General, we must get to the roof, and off, NOW. Those won't be plain HE bombs... No, those damned Wastelanders have devoloped a new, UV bomb. And they aren't afraid to use them." She ordered, before beginning to use the innate haste ability of a vampire, blowing by the mercenary Aida as nothing more then a blur and gust of wind. Only a few Vampires knew of this ability, and the training needed to master it were only second to becoming what Nemisis had done. So, only Ancients and the Emperor's brats had any kind of use in it's use. Rose, looked at her sister and then at the Lord General.
"For once, i'm in agreement with my sister." She stated, before following, sending another gust and blur by Aida.

Todzauberer...Geisterbeschwörer...
She had fought their kind before, she had even killed the last one to how his face in the pages of history! She had even been human the last time and came out victorious. Now she was even stronger in magic, reflexes, experience, and skill...and she failed? She failed to kill him?
Yes, given, this one was much stronger than the last and older as well, but he was still mortal. She had proven that she could hurt him, but when it came to finishing the job she had failed...why?
Schild. She needed to speak with Schild.
As Kelbora gained energy and strength through her link with Dion, despite his already weakened state, Kelbora was able to mentally recap the fight with Nemesis and see where she had gone wrong. Her first mistake had been to go after him once she had managed to kick him through the wall. She should have gone through with the Shadow Teleportation with the others, but she had been afraid that he would have gone after them in the portals...but more than that, she thought she could handle it.
She had forsaken the first rule of combat, which was to know your enemy before you engage. She had no idea that such a man had even existed under the Emperor's control, and it had thrown her to see him walk in through the door. Another mistake had been to rush in and try to attack him after the surprise of her initial attack wore off. If she had stayed, then she should have rounded the corner with caution and taken to a higher vantage point to observe before deciding the best course of action.
She had caused her own down fall...and it infuriated her.
She had been without a true challenge for so long that she had become complacent and over confident in her abilities. It had almost cost her both life and soul, and she was sure her parting shots had put her at the top of the b*****d's hit list.
Damn it.
As Kelbora began to return to cognition and became aware of her surroundings, she opened her eyes and looked off into the endless pathways and distance of the void. At first this startled her so greatly that jolted her arms and legs, only to find that she wasn't standing on the ground and Faer was holding her.
She was truly bewildered to find herself perched on Faer's back, and her flailing had nearly pitched them both over, but the Elemental was sturdy and strong, so they remained upright.
Kelbora was still weak and tired, but the short adrenaline rush had given her the momentary ability to look around, and the first thing she saw was a heavily wounded Dion.
Kelbora reached down and detached herself from Faer, nearly falling on her a** in the process, God she felt so weak! She stumbled backwards for a moment before catching her balance and nearly having to take a knee to stop the world from spinning. Her vision swam and she had the sudden urge to vomit, but she swallowed the black bile rising in her throat, and turned her head to see Dion.
His stomach area was a giant patch of fresh and recently dried blood, and the hand pressed over the ghastly wound was covered in crimson streams. He had taken a fatal hit for a human, but because of their bound he had survived and was healing...though incredibly slow considering the rapid rate it should have been thanks to Kelbora's own excellerated healing abilities.
And his blood smelled really, really good right now.
It occurred to the vampiress how she had recovered after the encounter with Nemesis, and she quickly clamped down on the link leeching Dion's energy from him. He would heal much faster now, but Kelbora would never be properly healed without fresh blood, and she couldn't tap Dion until he was better.
She needed a larger pool of donors.
"What has happened...where are we?" Kelbora asked, her voice rough and thick with fatigue and the acidic vomit she had been puking up earlier.

Faer was at first surprised by the flailing that reigned her back, so surprisingly strong was it that she nearly fell over in her impossible heels. As Kelbora detatched herself she looked around and followed Kelbora's vision. Damn! I was so concentrated on Kelbora I hadn't noticed.
"We are in the Void Kelbora. You were in no ways available to get us out of there so I resorted to the last resort. My area of expertise, the pathways of the Void. See this bubble around us? Don't leave it. I could survive, but you wouldn't. Or at least your mind wouldn't." Even with the bubble the sound of low wails and a listless breeze could be heard. The fog creeped, and seemed as if it would leech life from anything.
Faer walked over to Dion and ripped the shirt of of his chest. It was an abrupt act, and she almost laughed at his surprised face. She also tossed something to Kelbora. A nose plug. Even with Kelbora's accelerated healing helping him it was a dangerous situation.
Practically shoving him into a sitting position she covered the wound with one hand, the other fading into nothing and reaching into the wound. He wouldn't feel it thankfully, but she needed to heal the internal bleeding before she could handle anything else.
Now Spirit magic is a combined magics. It is made up of fire, earth, water, and air. Fire and Earth were primarily attack magics, Water and Air healing and defense magics. The combination of these created Spirit, a neutral magic that could do all, though at a slightly weakened state.
Using a mixture of Water and Air magics she cleansed the wound of any shrapnel or anything that could have gotten in, including infection. Then she knit together any damaged arteries or blood vessels. The wound was open, but he wouldn't lose as much blood. It was the best she could do at the moment, any more expenditures and she would lose control of the bubble. She was tired, and it showed as dark circles under her eyes.
Using so much magic had an effect on her, and she had to steady herself before reaching into her skirt. Tied around her leg was a small first aid kit. No one would have noticed it. She pulled out gauze pads and wrappings. Placing gauze pads on his wound, she began wrapping his chest swiftly, and soon his midsection, chest, and one shoulder looked like that of the ancient mummy corpses.
Seeing slight goosebumps on his skin she remembered he would be the only one affected by the cool temperature of the Void. Frowning she looked down at his torn shirt, then at her skirt. It might work. She tore a large chunk of her skirt off, and then made two holes using her fingers for arm holes. She slipped it on him like a vest and nodded. He'd be fine now.
"You'll be totally fine in a few hours. Now let's continue moving please." Faer stood totally upright and weaved for a second before gaining her bearings. Closing her eyes, she once again envisioned the map within her mind. She then began to walk.

When Dion had asked her why she was claiming to be a Wastelander, she realized she had to find some way to explain herself, and was in the process of doing that, when Dion suddenly collapsed to the ground, clutching his head. He was like that for a few seconds, before standing up, shaking his head, possibly to clear it, when he went white as a, well, a vampire. Grabbing her hand, he said "Plan Alpha's gone! Unexpected Arrival! Plan Bravo is go!" She followed him out the door, seeing it was crowded, and procedded to make it look like he was trying to avoid a bite from her. As they finally reached the third floor, Dion had stopped, to look out the window, but Lynn wasn't going to stop until she had her Katana, which she had hidden in the wall, in her hand. That plan was paused when she found a 9mm handgun pointed at her head. Only when Dion vouched for Lynn did the other woman, 'A Vampire!', lower teh gun. When Dion began to pull his gear on, Lynn grabbed a combat harness, and pulled her Katana out of its socket, rubbing the coating of paint and plywood off of it. When she saw Dion raise an eyebrow, she merely shrugged, not wanting to go into detail just now.
Lynn had quickly pulled on the cobat harness, letting it hang off her shoulders, while she drew her Katana, and began to check to see if it would still cut properly. She was in the middle of a swing when the room suddenly was chilled, and the door exploded. Lynn reacted with all hte grace of a Vampire, avoiding the shards of wood and bits of metal, only to see Dion was not so lucky. While he was on the ground, with a massive chunk of wood in his gut, Lynn was busy grabbing the guns that Faer had pulled out for her. She had just gotten them when the vampire woman sent them through the shadows, landing Lynn on the fourth floor, with all the decor that had orginialy graced the mansion. She had just settled her gut and got her gear where it should be, when she was suddenly pulled elsewhere, into a bubble within a fog. Lynn couldn't help but retch, her stomach unused to such suddenly shifts in position and time. Once they began moving, Lynn was concerned, since Dion was slowing down, even after getting the wood out of his gut. When they paused because of Vampire woman, Kelbora it seemed her name was, waking up. She they treated Dion's wound, Lynn kept a watch out, just in case. Once they had finished, Lynn helped Dion up, and started walking forward, keeping up with the other two.
"Can someone tell me what is going on here? I'm Lynn Arranda, a spy for the Wastelanders, and ranked as a Mistress within the Vampire ranks." Lynn said, venom deeply embedded in the title Mistress.

Kelbora hadn't even noticed Faer coming towards her or Dion until she was suddenly forced to catch a nose plug, to which she frowned and tossed the thing away. She may have been so out of it that an Elemental could move about her without her sensing it, but she did still have her self control enough that she wouldn't jump Dion during a procedure.
She was kind of insulted, but held her tongue and looked away.
The sounds of Dion gasp at the odd sensations of the metaphysical surgery made her lock her jaw in place, she also shivered at the magical cast off given by Faer's elemental magic. It felt like a thousand tiny insects crawling beneath her clothing, along her skin. She tried her best to ignore it, but looking out at the "scenery" would only make her go insane, according to Faer who's judgment she trusted on the matter.
In her two thousand years of existence, she had never experienced the worlds within the Void; this was all very new to her.
When the procedure was finished, Faer announced cheery orders to move out, and Kelbora obliged by falling in step behind her, making a point not to look at Dion. She still had the nagging urge to bite him, as was the right of a Master Vampire with his or her Pomme de Sang, but she didn't follow the normal relationship patterns of vampiric society and prided herself in the fact.
Hey, her self control was excellent, but not iron clad.
It was then that the female vampire they had picked up at the party, the Wastelander insider, spoke and asked, in a polite manner, what the hell was going on. Kelbora reached out briefly with her senses and brushed up against the other woman's mind, seeking out her age and level of power. However, she found neither were abnormally significant, and retracted her senses to concentrate on the road ahead of them. Kelbora never turned to look at her, knowing that Dion was there, but internally asked herself the same damn question.
What the hell had happened?
"It would be better to hear it from your superior, and as a general warning, know that neither Faer or I are Wastelanders," Kelbora said in a tired and irritated tone, "We just so happened to be sharing similar goals tonight."
She wondered how much longer this journey through the Void would take...She desperately wanted to eat and rest, though in Dion's condition she might have to do so in the opposite order. She could always ask for a temporary volunteer, but she highly doubted the anti-vampire rebels would accommodate her request. She could always take someone by force and slaughter them, but she wasn't up to dealing with the backlash of that one, and so she tried to push the hunger aside.
Sometimes it was very inconvenient to live against the accordance of natural vampiric etiquette.

"Your highness I assure you we shall reach the roof in time."The lord general promise, the air simmering with his rage.Any fool who dared to apporach Nemesis(minus the Mercenary,Guardsmen accompanying them and the Emperor's children)Would find their bodily functions rebelling against them, curling up like little fetuses and allowing the band to pass over them.Nemesis could hear the thunder in the distance, and Nemesis felt hatred stir within his black heart"Their carpet bombing the mansion. From the impacts I say we have two minutes, three at most to reach the top.."A blast of cold air propelled him forward, racing like a shadow across the steps to chase over the Emperor's daughters
His com beeped, signaling the dropship was on location and awaiting their arrival. At least one thing was going right!"This is Nemesis to the Hand of the Nocturne Fighter Squadron. We have multiple contacts over LA,this is not a drill.I repeat this is NOT a drill!.Dispatch to my beacon transmitter and ensure niether I nor my passenger's are brought to harm in anyway till we have cleared the combat zone!Once that is complete you are to destroy these wastelander bomber's by any means necessary!"The scenery zipped by,a blurred face whipping by every few seconds or so.
He didn't even stop when they reached the roof access, shoulder driving into the reinforced door,it gave on it's hinges and toppled in,the wind tearing at his face and cloak in greeting. In the distance flashes of light were getting closer and stronger, but the dropship sat idling on the landing pad,the pilot's looking out nervously at the approaching devastation"Your highness,GO!"He screamed, ushering them to the vessel,a large ramp descending from it's belly.
