I just use a cd player, lasts way longer on two batteries than my mini does and I can keep 4gb of cds in my bag no problems. +spare batteries.
if my ipod had lasted more than 6 months I'd still love them.
itunes is a bit clunky too...

Alone but not forgotten..
I have a Zen Vision M. It was one hundred dollars cheaper then the Ipod. Does videos, fm radio, holds 120 hours of video, does photos, recordings, acts as a removable harddrive and holds 30Gb worth of songs. Untill tommorrow the old wind swayed.
