Fatal was so preoccupied, he almost did not even notice the new arrivals. He walked right out of the hallway, into another door, before poking his head out a few seconds later to see the arrivals... and his eyes immediately fell on the beast.

Suffice to say, Fatal suddenly experienced a deep desire to have his next Trophy.

"Well, Travis," he called out with a chuckle, "it seems that your friends have caught up to me. Huh... I wonder, do they actually plan on attacking me?"

Kasai glared at Fatal. "Where is my sister?"

Kali was about to say something but then Fatal spoke. She had almost forgotten he was there.

(( Xistund, basically, Kasai went to see the Beast, then brought everyone to the forest outside the city to follow the Beast to the temple. There Zylo was, and he showed Kasai a vision of where Fatal was, which is here. ))

Fatal walked a step out of the doorway he was occupying, gesturing at the metal space all around them. Completely ignoring Kasai's question. "Gloriously grand, isn't it? This place..." Fatal licked his lips, gesturing all the while with his hands raised, at the container in which they resided. "This place has the potential to end all wars. Doesn't it appall you?" Fatal truly believed some of the things he was saying, or else, he was an amazingly good liar.

((Yeah yeah... 's okay.))

When the elastic punch came, Fatal simply sidestepped out of the way. After a moment, he said quietly, "That will never help you find your sibling."

"I can care less about this place. I want my sister back!" Kasai said as flames appeared around her.

Kali wasn't sure what to do, but if she was needed, she'll fight.

Fatal performed a facial maneuver that was a cross between a smirk and incredulous amusement. Much the same thing, and yet, different.

"Oh yes, Travis," Fatal said, playing on the thoughts he had already run through his mind, knowing that Travis would indeed need to protect him should these other people attempt to attack him.

The idea of having a lackey and backup... rather did appeal to Fatal. At least until he became powerful enough to no longer need such assistance.

"You must protect me, if I'm ever to be able to talk to your master. I'm sure your friends will understand; but I'm a valued potential associate."

This was all said before Tiger had attacked. Ready to dodge once again, and possibly perform a painful counterattack, Fatal waited just long enough to see if Travis would intervene or not. This was a crucial point in his decision to humor Kranza or not.

Kali's eyes widened when she saw Travis protect Fatal. "Travis, what are you doing? And what is he talking about?" she asked him.

Kasai saw that Travis protected Fatal. She wasn't sure what to do, if she should fight or not. If she did, she might have to fight Travis.
