ok sometime I really hate how hard it is even on easy mode...but i think tha's just be because I fail at life (why do you mock me Overdrive)

anyways I agree with a lot of you, some characters from the PC98 games need to come back like Mima! Mima was awesome!!

Ehh...the only games I can beat on Normal mode are EoSD, PCB, and PoFV. T.T

I haven't tried MoF on anything other than Easy Mode, I can't get past stage 4 on SA, and I usually end up using a continue on stage 6 on IN.

my main gripe about the touhou series -- i suck at every game xd i can barely get through on easy on any of them. also downloading them kills my computer D:<

but everything else about it is just love heart

no -- playing it works just fine, but the process of getting it downloaded freezes my computer a lot =p

The artwork in Imperishable Night.

It's horrible.

IN is great in every other way. The artwork in that game, though, is even worse than usual. I can tolerate the artwork in every other game except for that one.

But then, ZUN can't draw anyway. Hmmm.

The artwork in the fighting games was fine, but ZUN didn't do the artwork for those games.

The artwork for IaMP was fine. I'm glad Tasofro did it, it's not bad. 3nodding

I like IN's art, but SA's and PCB's art bugged me. Granted, the latter is an older game, but... I'm sure some of you remember Satori's "arms." Art-wise, what also bugs me is his lack of perception when drawing hair and such other head things. But that's excusable, I guess.

I don't like Kogasa's theme to be all that honest. It's fine, but it's not a song I'd listen to over and over. Ichirin's theme, on the other hand, or Murasa's... <3

Also, ZUN not reusing old PC98 characters. I know we have Alice and Yuka, and Murasa is basically Chiyuri's spiritual successor, but it's not the same. I'd love to face Elly and her throwing scythes, since we have Okuu who can shuck suns at us, and the aforementioned Murasa who throws anchors. And Unzan with bis brofists... and Kogasa with those ball... things...

The only thing I can think of that I don't like is Ran and Yukari's IN theme... Being background musics, all Touhou themes are somewhat repetitive and obviously loop, but Ran and Yukari's are way too repetitive and too high pitched (Yukari's anyway).

In this case, you can say it's justified as Necrofantasia and Yukari~n's stage theme is a remix of both of Ran's stage and boss theme. To show that she's not only stronger than Ran, but also much more dangerous.

But yeah, it's super high-pitched. @_@

And it shows that you're going into unknown territory; if I recall, where Yukari can be found is around or partially inside the Great Hakurei Border.
