*some weeks after the festival...*
A click of the door and the thud of a basket on a stool, Isley scurried about the room putting everything away before landing at her table, cards in hand once again.
"A new arrival of Lahmear's! This should be fun!" she said as she was already shuffling the thin, but sturdy paper, figuring a quick read wouldn't hurt anybody. She couldn't get rusty after all.
"Hmm."
She looked over the three cards spread before her. Pausing a moment to get a bread bun, she sat back down and began to pick the fresh roll apart as she thought.
Luck hindered? Maybe he did get on the toes of someone of the higher order. But the outcome of his trip here looked good... at least physically. Spiritually it was difficult to tell.
"Maybe it would be a good time to set up shop during this festival of Lahmear's..." she mumbled when her mouth was clear of food.
She chuckled as she put down the broken bread bun and traced her finger over the last card. It would be fitting that the hermit would turn up for someone like him, one looking for enlightenment.
She wondered what a young man of Lahmear's enlightenment would think of her cards and then laughed to herself as she began to put them away.
