"Let's just see what happens."
Libram jumps forward and starts to rush in. He places the boken off to his left and prepares to slash with it. Once he gets withing Spera's range of attack, he's going to suddenly stop and see what she's going to do.

Seeing Libram coming at her right she steps to her left, swinging ehr staff out towards his waist and raising the right but of her staff to her shoulder as she lunges.

Libram steps into it as soon as he sees where Spera is attacking from. He uses the momentum to add a little oomph into his slash. The slash itself is aimed at her weapon in the hopes that it will knock it up and away from his body. He'll then continue with the momentum of the step and head in for a shoulder tackle to knock her off balance.

((I am really confused as to the mechanics of what you just posted. I guess I hear slash and I think of trying to knock a thing towards the ground. I guess it's also hard to realize which side of the weapon you are going for. But I'll give it a guess.))
(taken out) Spera braces for the weapons impact but instead of letting the blow unbalance her, she twirls away with the staff readying to land a blow against the back of his knees when she spins back around.(taken out)
(inserted) Spera's blow is knocked up over her head and as she is attempting to gain momentum in a swinging motion Libram rishes through with a shoulder tackle that pushes her over onto the gound, the jolt making her lose connection with her staff.

((I saw you spinning one end of your weapon from your left, my right. I was attacking from my left and directing it into the incoming part that was aimed at me. I was hoping to force the weapon up and away, which would have left you and I with our weapons in the air. From that point, I would have shoulder charged.))

((Ahhh, I thought I was closer to you than that since I lunged forward with which I meant to apply that I was close to the ground, I thought I was closer to you than I was, I'll go edit the above))

Libram once again moves the boken to his left and holds it there. He waits for Spera to get back up and retrieve her staff.

Spera does a backwards roll towards her staff, and resolves herself to wait for a concrete attack before swinging again. Staffs are generally better at defense than offence. Patience Spera, Patience She stands and reverts to her previous begining position.

Libram takes a second to assess the situation. He decides on a course of action and starts rushing forward again. This time he jumps up a bit before he gets into range. He brings the boken around into a two-handed overhead slash.

Spera jumps to the left, out of Libram's way and droping to her knees, makes a swing for Libram's. Holding the butt of the staff against her ribs and her left hand guiding and enforcing the blow.

"Uh oh..."
Once Libram saw Spera jump to the side, he knew he was in for an almost unavoidable attack. He was right and gets swept off his feet when he lands. His back hits the ground as his feet fly up into the air, but he absorbs the impact and uses it to spring board back to an upright position. He wouldn't have much time for an attack, so he waited to see if Spera was going to press her advantage or not.

Spera smiled up at him from her kneed position on the floor. "Are you alright?"

Libram just grinned.
"I'll be fine."
He jumped up once again, only this time he didn't commit himself to a weapon attack. He was taking a flying leap that would land on Spera.

Spera was so stunned that she didn't think of moving, her knees still against the ground. ( eek )
