Wasn't the T-Rex Vaan's mother? Well, that should teach Vayne to try to act all nice in public but kick puppies and club seals in private. D8<

It's only raining here. Where do you live? I'd totally wear Fran's shoes. You could like kill someone with those. 8D So if I were ever attacked or mugged, I could just kick them in the face, and it'd like rip their face off.

Balthier's shoes look hella uncomfortable, it's the straps in the back they look like they would dig into his heel when he runs.
Ondore's remind me of uggs for some reason, I have no idea why though.
I think that practical or decent looking shoes are non-existent in Ivalice.

Colorado, the weather is always kind of out of wack where I am though. much warm during the day and much colder during night (probably due to it being on airid desert), but I like it >'w'<. >OO< that is true...but the kicking part sounds so unpleasant *holds her cheek*...the things women do for fashion these days, I tell ya : D

The first thing I thought of when I saw this thread title was not shoes. It was the potholder on Basch's chest. Talk about character design fail.

Vaan actually has somewhat practical shoes. I mean, they're made out of metal so it's not like there are any straps that could be slashed or break. But if he's walking in snow or hot sand, wouldn't that make the metal cold/hot? I like Al-Cid's boots, they're nice to look at and they look comfortable. Dr. Cid's boots went up to his thighs, I don't know how the hell they stayed up though. Vossler's shoes are kind of ugly. They remind of a horses hooves.

Fran's shoes look like they hurt after ten minutes of walking, or sitting. I've always wondered how come she' never tripped, or twisted an ankle in those things.
Is Al-Cid wearing thigh highs boots, or is just my imagination. If he is we know what message he wants to send out. wink
Vaan's are practical, but really heavy like steal toe work boots. I tried a pair once, and those things are really, really heavy, and airport security hates them.
Cid's and Vossler's are too fugly to comment on.

I think Al-Cid's legs look sort of feminine in the picture and Dr. Cid's shoes remind me of astronauts. biggrin

Al-Cid reminds me of a male model. I think his shoes are my new favorite.
