Aiden stared at Dominique with his cold critical eyes. He didn't understand what she wanted and why she was here. When she flung herself on the floor he moved from the corner closer to Amber, as if he thought something was going to happen.

Until Skiaska's alter ego has spoken, Lydia's sob had been dying down. But as ski-neko spoke, Lydia screamed and renewed the frevor of her sobbing, clutching Skiaska even tighter even though she was in part the reason for Lydia's tears.

Krii'ouse held onto Lydia as he kneeled down, keeping his mouth away from her. He didn't want to give her whatever it was he had. 'It's okay, Lydia. We're here. You'll be fine. Don't worry. We will protect you. You just stick by us from now on, and no one will ever trap you again.' he comforted. He patted her shoulder, and kept on comforting her.

Amber smiled and decided to ask a stupid question she giggled though it hurt her throat and asked Jaffar, "Can I think about you and my friends then, because they're important to me and maybe I'll think about them during the surgery?"

Will just smiled, a sad little smile as he waited for Jaffar to stop beating himself up and then for him to finish talking to Amber. He wasn't an idiot, he could see that something was going on between those two. Good Lord, there's so many hormones flying around here that the place is becoming more like a singles bar than a secret base for a paramilitary organization. Skiaska and Sethe, Tyler and Sabrina, and now possibly Jaffar and Amber as well as others. Sigh, how I envy them at times, it's been far too long since I was last with anybody. Enjoy it kids, you've all got something precious there.

When Jaffar was finished speaking and looked at him again, Will smiled, leaned over... And promptly smacked the back of the other man's head. With a sigh, the Hunter leader began laying gently into his repetant Hunter. "Jaffar, for God's sake, when will you get a clue that I'm not going to give you the boot because you messed up? We all mess up. Even me, and I've been in this business longer than most of you. Jaffar, you were possessed by a DEMON. The fact that you were able to stay sane, much less maintain control for so long, speaks highly of you. Now stop talking yourself down, God but you're as bad as Kerri sometimes. Get this through that obviously thick skull of yours kid, it was NOT your fault. You need to blame somebody? Blame that b*****d Malice, this is all his fault, none of the actual blame rests with you. Understood?"

Seeing the hesitant nod, Will smiled softly and stood up, clasping Jaffar's shoulder in a comforting embrace. "Let it go Jaffar, there's precious little that you could have done. Now get some rest kiddo, you'll need it. You too, Amber."

With that he stepped out of the room, noticing Myythren standing outside the door. "Hey Myyth. I'm glad to see you doing well. I need to tell you about something, but first, is there anything you need to talk with me about?"

Amber smiled at Will, "I'll get some rest after my stinking surgery." Amber then chuckled at Jaffar when the surprised look came upon his face, she hugged him and became dead serious within an instant, "Jaffar, I let Malice escape it's partly my fault, I'm gonna help you hunt him down, and I know that Aiden will be willing to help too." She continued to embrace him in a comforting way. Then she felt some blood coming up her throat and quickly turned away coughing up blood on her bed.
