Anne led the girl to the mansion slowly, inside, and to the infirmary she had seen on the map. She sat the girl down on a bed. "Are you going to be alright?" she asked.

"I should be. Eventually. Can't say the same about the cab-driver though....."

She looked down at the floor, a sad expression on her face.

Anne bit her lip. Should I go back...? she asked herself, or is it already too late for him?

"Where am I?" she asked.

Anne thought a moment. "Truthfully, I'm not sure myself. I've only just arrived earlier today."

"I see. What brought you here?"

"I've been traveling. I needed a place to stay for a while," Anne answered. "And this was the first place I found."

Meanwhile, a tail grew from just above her rear.

She smiled. "Glad I don't have to hide it." she stated.
