"It's all up to Cas whether we finish them" Dark Frost explained, removing his guise. The barrier soon dropped and Dark Frost shot out of the smoke, attacking the Milotic furiously with his sword. After seven minutes of straight out fighting, the Milotic had fainted. "Okay, let's continue on the journey. I want to be able to get to the Distortion World to..." But just then, his sword began to glow furiously as another identical light began to shine in front of the Weavile. When it cleared, there was another Weavile that looked identical to Dark Frost, but with the exception that it was coloured icy blue and pitch black. It held an exact replica of the ShadowSnow Katana in it's claw and glared at Dark Frost. "I guess this means the trial begins now. Twili, Cas...Stay back. Make sure that nothing else interferes."

Cas stood back and said, "Sure thing Frost! What's going on? Why does that Weaville look like you?"

"It's the final trial of my ShadowSnow Katana" Dark Frost explained, a slight grin on his face. "In order to prove myself worthy of the Katana's ultimate power, I must defeat the greatest opponent of all...myself. Only difference is...It can use the Katana's full power."

"Thanks guys, I know I'm gonna need it" Dark Frost spoke, an unusual tone of seriousness in his voice. Turning to his clone, he then whispered "No more holding back. This is what I've been training for, and I'm not going to lose now." With that, the two charged forward, attacking with everything they had. The entire area around them began to freeze over with dark ice as the two continued their intense fight, the immense energy forcing all lesser Pokemon in the area to the ground. After several hours, both versions of Dark Frost looked just as ready to go as when they began. "I admit this is an amazing fight" the real one laughed, watching his clone carefully. Just then, the clone separated the katana into two identical looking blades, though one was supercharged with ice energy and the other with dark energy. "I'm guessing this is the final power. Which means I must be nearing the end of my trial."

"It hasn't been split in half, it's transformed into two separate blades" Dark Frost explained, getting ready to fight against the fully powered clone. "Now get out of the way, this fight is about to get a lot worse." Speeding forward, the clone mouthed out a technique name, the name only heard by Dark Frost. "So that's the ultimate technique...ShadowSnow Flurry." Dark Frost quickly dodged before the first strike connected and then sliced the clone in half. As the clone vanished, a voice began to ring out for all of them to hear.
the voice declared, fading away afterwards.
"Heh, seems the ShadowSnow Katana finally accepts me" Dark Frost laughed, watching the sword glow.

"Thanks for helping me up Twili! That there fall was a doosey!!" said Cas after she got up. "So you finally got your full power? Do you feel like you're on top of the world!" said Cas to Frost.

"The only time I'm going to be truly on top of the world is once I've exacted my revenge on the elders of the clan for unfairly banishing me" Dark Frost explained, sheathing his katana. "Now then, we should really get going." Just then, Dark Frost's body began to glow as a sudden burst of energy erupted around him. The energy completely blocked him from view and also had enough force to start pushing Twili back, but it eventually cleared. When it did, Dark Frost looked completely different than before. His feather crown was longer and spiky now, and he had three tail feathers, like a normal Sneasel. These had also changed to an icy blue colour, with dark streaks rushing through them. The Weavile's claws were now glowing black and when he turned to face them, his left eye was giving off a highly dark aura while his right eye was giving off a cold, icy blue aura. "Okay, that was weird...So what are we waiting for? We need to get to that weaponsmith." It was strange to see that his mentality hadn't been affected in any way at all, but his new appearance did look pretty cool.

"Umm Cas how does a ghost fall Twili asked?" "Frost still seeking revenge do you still want to get a bow or shoud we go find the dragons of sinnoh?"

"I'll get the bow first, then I'll head back to the clan to exact revenge. Then I'll return to help locate the dragons" Dark Frost explained, his appearance still in this current state. "It won't take long for me to get there and back. After all, it seems that my travelling speed has increased dramatically in this state."

"I would prefer to go back to the clan by myself" Dark Frost admitted, turning towards the weaponsmith's direction. "You are free to tag along, but it's in the Johto region. It would be easier for me to go by myself, but nothing's stopping you from coming along. Just...if you do, you cannot enter the clan grounds."
