"Really? That is peculiar." Kartala followed Koras gaze and looked at Zu too. His first time here and look what happens. She sighed and looked back to Kora once more when she was addressed. "No, Ive lived in the northern parts all of my life, why?"

Kora sighed "The humans in the other territories are different. They leave the Helixes alone as long as the Helixes leave them alone. Here the humans have to be more protective and aggressive or they won't survive... It's purely their survival instinct They are very destructive humans are," Kora said to Kartala but turned back to Zufall as he started to stir. "Oh good Finally. Took him long enough," Kora said.

"Oh, well maybe they should live in diferent teritories so they dont have o hunt us." She perked up when rustling came from where Zu was. "Zu isnt from here though. He insisted that I show him arround. I should probably take him home after all that happened." She sighed and waited for Zu to come arround.

Kora listened to Kartala. "Well we can't tell the humans that and if we could they probably wouldn't listen. Hardheaded the humans are. That or just crazy," She said. 'Just like some helixes. Mainly the ones who permanently live in the North,' Kora thought almost laughing. She could never live permanently here without going bonkers so she made a trip once a month to the lower territories to get bedding. She was going to reply to what Kartala said about Zu but she didn't have time because he had sat up with a big yawn.
Zufall sat up with a yawn and shook his head groggily almost toppling over. He had never felt this crappy before. Not even when he got sick. He let out a small whine and shook his head some more. He was so out of it that he didn't realize there was other helixes around him.

Kartala went over to Zu and nuged the poor helix pup, and kept him from stumbling over. "Zu, your okay. Its me, Kartala." She gave the pup a soft nuzzle and layed down next ti him, hoping with all her heart that he was okay. "I shouldnt have brought you out here..."

Zufall Jumped when Kartala nudged him because he thought he was alone. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head one last time. When he opened his eyes this time he saw that there was two helixes in the cave with him. One was the creepy one he had gotten a glimpse of earlier. He scooted closer to Kartala fearing what the other helix would do to him. "But it's really my fault I talked you into it. If I had listened to you it wouldn't have happened," He said Kartala still on edge from Kora's presence.
Kora sighed she always seemed to scare away other helixes because of her appearance. She moved back towards the entrance of the cave so the pup wouldn't worry as much about her then sat down

Kartala shifted to make Zu feel more protected but whispered to him that he should be polite because she saved him. And then nuzzled him again. "Don't worry Zu. I'm going to take you home safely. To be on the cautious side...though I'd rather not, we can see if my mother or father will acompany us to your lands." She sighed and looked at Kora. "Thanks for saving him...."

"S-she did?" Zufall asked then remembered her blasting into the building before everything went blank. He calmed down a little bit. His strength was returning bit by bit. "We could make it back on our own.... probably," He said to Kartala. Then he turned to Kora and said "thanks for saving me."
"You are welcome. It's my job to save helixes that wander into the dangers of that place," Kora said to both Kartala and Zufall. "If you guys are planning on leaving soon I should take my leave. You can stay here as long as you need," she said glancing up the mountain a ways. She walked out of the cave and up the mountain disappearing into a frozen, foggy mist.

Kartala nodded but said, "We really should get you home Zu. Your fur wasn't meant for this weather." Then turning to Kora she smiled. "Thank you for your hospitality." And watched Kora dissapear. She turned back to Zu, giving him a lick to his cheek. "Are you ready to leave then?"

Zufall watched as their savior disappeared into the fog. He wondered what she had been looking at up the mountain. "Ok that's fine with me. My Fur should do fine if I made it this far. I'm ready to go when you are," He said standing up and walking towards the front of the cave. He looked down the mountain and spotted the Human's Contraption. It was still crouching near the back and running. Zufall shivered but not just because of the cold weather.

Kartala noted his fear and also looked at the human contraption. "I'm sure there is a different way down the mountain Zu. Or at least a safer way around it." She steped out of the protection of the cove and looked around for a different route and supposed the best way was a rather steep slope. "Itlle be difficult but we'll manage."
Kartala turned and went back to where the pup stood. "It would be best if I carried you, if you don't mind?"

Zufall nodded at what she said and watched as she went to scope out an easier trail. He looked out the cave and noted what he thought she was talking about... He thought could make it but it was probably for the best that she carry him. "I guess that would make it easier for you," he admitted somewhat begrudgingly.

Kartala noted his expression and sighed. "I'll let you walk the whole rest of the way as long as your paws don't freeze off." She smiled and nudged his cheek before picking him up by the scruff of his neck. She made sure she had a firm but gentle hold on him before slinking her way out into the open.
Kartala crept her way toward the slope and paused at the top. She checked her hold on Zu once more before she turned around and slowly started their way down the slope, digging her claws and paws into the snow when she started to slide, which was often.

Zufall Smiled a little when Kartala said he could walk the rest of the way. She had a way with pups. One day she would make a great mother.
When kartala picked him up he instinctively went limp, in order to make her carrying him more easy. He felt a little uneasy because Kartala kept slipping, and had wished he had been more adamant about going down on his own, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway he was just a pup.
