Oh, you bet. The kids in my church nursery always tease me for singing Masquerade when I'm on nursery duty. I actually found out how to play it on one of those little Fisher-Price pianos with the multicolored keys. YAY!

Oh my God, that's brilliant! xd

My friend and I skipped a whole day of school to see POTO first showing and wore masks. xd The Box Office guy guessed what we were seeing!

UGH! I hate you! crying

I was supposed to see it today with all my friends, but all everyone changes plans at the LAST SECOND!! So I couldn't go..I'll have to go on Sunday 'cause tommorrow I'm busy.

DAMNIT ALL!

*sigh* I wish I had a mask

On Monday, my friend and I are going to wear our masks to school and sing the songs during lunch. We're just toeing that line between sanity and complete phangirlism and on Monday I think we're going to pass that line. sweatdrop

I wore my black cloak to the movie. My friend and I were going with her older borther and his friend, so when I got in the car they gave me this really weird look. The people at the ticketbooth didn't guess what I was planning to to see, so I'm sure they thought I was just some freak in a cape.

Anyway, we got there about forty-five minutes early for the movie (don't know why we left so early), so we had over a good half-hour of standing in the lobby. My friend and I got bored, so we started to sing the songs from the movie. After a little I pulled the hood of my cloak over my head and started pretending to be the Phantom, so she decided to pretend to be Christine. I'm principally an alto, but I've got a pretty wide range. We were just having fun singing the parts when someone suddenly called my friend's name. It turned out we had collected a bit of a crowd, and some of them were people we knew from school. They didn't recognize me since the hood covered my face pretty well, and they were a little surprised to see it was me that had been singing the male part. We got a few compliments though, and people were suprised that we hadn't seen the movie yet (they know nothing of true phandom).

xd We got there pretty early as well. Actually, about 35 minutes before the movie started and Mariah was running up and down the aisles since we were the only people in the theater. Her dad said she looked like Erik running around.

They wouldn't let us in the theater until just a few minutes before the thing started, and my friend and I decided to get drinks since the movie was over two hours long (wonderful orange soda...). Of course people at the counter take forever to get your stuff even when all you ask for is a soda, so by the time we finally got to our seats the previews were starting.

I saw even more people from school after the movie (since there was only one theater within 45 min that was playing the movie everyone went there). A few of them were people I didn't like, so they were trying to make fun of mine and my friend's earlier performance. They just annoyed me. It was the ones who complimented my singing of male part that embarrassed me.

Well...they're unsociable, unintelligent slobs (directed at insultors and concession stand people). >_>

It's nice to know I'm not the only person who thinks that.

Once, I went to Centuary 2, this giant place where I live there was this piano there, and I was just walking around. I couldn't see anybody, but.........it was playing. And, it was playing "The Music of the Night". I couldn't help it, I sang along.
The strangest thing, however, was a man's voice started singing along. IN FRENCH.
I, however, was not paying attention to this [at the moment]. When the song stopped, the only thing I could see was darkness...and I felt someone hugging me from behind and saying "Christene, Christene, you have returned!", and then hugging me closer.
I, of course, turned around and said "Erik! Are you real? Is that you?"
And, then, everything turned normal again and I was laying on the floor.

Bubbles speaking (just under Riley's name here):

Is this a dream? Or an actual event? Cuz I'm confuzzled. And Riley says she's lost. O.o

Nope, actuall event. Which is really strange because:

1) I kind of look like the Christene in the book [would show a picture, but camera is on the other computer and I don't feel like doing it just now]

2) I am a soprano and can hit, without any strain, the high notes that Christene can in the POTO musical. [Would tape them but can't. No microphone on the computer]

3)And, yes, a lot of people call me Christene. I don't know why. Might be because I go around singing POTO and Opera-ish songs all the time. redface Gets really embaressing for the high notes because then people look at me and ask me if I'm lipsynching

And a lot of other weird things. Might just be my imagination, but I swear that what I said was REAL. And, I remember it because my Grandma wanted me to do something for this club of hers. And, the whole thing was in Century 2. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been there.

Wow. eek I love this. This is TOO COOL. *What coolness!*

XD

Anyhoozles.. YOU'RE SO COOL! *clings* *want's ERIK to talk to her*
...and that's pretty much all. I think I accdently scared him away.
Once, though, just a couple of days ago, I realized that a mask was staring at we while washing my hands in the bathroom.
It was kind of creepy.
And, I kind of screamed.
Now, I'm not trying t claim anything here. I'm really not trying to say that I'm the reencarnated Christene or anything. It's just really weird, all these things.....and, I've investigated them. Tried to fing ANY WAY that it could have been a prank. But, I can't find any way that it could have been.
It scares me a bit.

I'm, known for prowling the halls with a song and on occasion a dance. Well, actually it tends to be more in the middle of class. At home I do it all the time, and my mom just steps in and joins me.
My dad's a diferent story though.
Now I just need to memorize all the songs like I have Les Miserables.
I'm actually quite tempted to go up to my friend who's nigh obsessed with PotO and begin to sing All I Ask of You and see what happens.

I think the most embarrassing Phantom-related thing I ever did happened last fall. I was in this giant corn maze with a bunch of my friends at night as part of this youth group thing. So we all had flashlights and stuff and were wandering around when I had the brilliant idea to cut through the corn and pop out and scare a bunch of my friends, who were apparently around the corner.

So I cut through the corn as planned, and burst out in front of the corner shouting "HE'S HERE, THE PHAAANTOM OF THE OPERAAAAA!" at the top of my lungs. Only it wasn't my friends standing there, it was these three elderly people and I think I nearly gave them a heart attack. >.> I never felt so incredibly stupid in all my life. So I muttered, "Um. Yes. He is, you know," and scuttled off.

And...yeah. That's about it.

Yeah......but sometimes, I still hear from him. Like, in science today, we were talking about incects and the teacher said something about grasshoppers. I was all like "And they jump jolly high!" and then, I heard this voice in the corner of the classroom go, "And It never had to jump!"
And, I'm the only really big Phantic in my grade, so nobody could have know what I ment! And, our class is made compleatly out of girls.

I remember hearing from someone once who went to the Paris opera house on a few separate occassions. She said that every time she went they had different signs for Box 5 each time. Apparently phans are constantly stealing the sign (It's just this small little thing they put on the door).

D: I feel really, really stupid. The other day at school, I was singing Point of No Return in the commons of our school, because we were really early for our tests, and really bored... DDD: And I sang as Erik, and... I had a really overly-large dark-grey sweatshirt jacket on, so I randomly put up the hood... and when I sang that.. "say you'll want me with you, here, beside you... anywhere you go, let me go, too! Christine, that's all I ahsk (XD Funny accent and all) of-" and she liked... randomly pulled my hood off, and this girl shouted, "OH. MY. GOD. *shriek*" Although she was talking to someone else, and had no idea what/who we were/doing... D: And that's when I noticed the large quantities of older people looking at me loke.. "O.o WTF?!" And at my friend... XDDD; I think they thought we were both crazy, and quite perversed. D:

And then when we were all filing into the gym to take our seats for the test, I randomly turned to one of my other friends, and shouted, "HAND AT THE LEVEL OF YOUR EYES!!" and promptly demonstrated. D: Only I was carrying newly sharpened pencils. And ended up stabbing someone. DDDDD: *meekly* I thought I was gonna die.

When the movie comes out on DVD, my friend and I're going to randomly dress up as Erik, or Christine... XD; I demand to dress up as Erik... she can, too, but I MUST... >_> And we're going to randomly sing in the hallways, at lunch, during play rehersal... there's even talk of me making a Punjab lasso out of dental floss. D: Which is what I always threaten people with. XD;

Like oh so many Phans, unloading and washing dishes is my singing time. I'll sing complete parts of the show in the course of washing or unloading dishes. Eriks part, Christine, Raoul, everyone. I change my voice to fit and everything.

It freaks my sister out. xd

I'm lucky. I sing with my sister... who already posted on this thread and told everyone that. sweatdrop I kind of envy the people here who can actually sing the songs well.

I don't have any siblings to sing with, but that's okay since my favorite parts to sing are the male parts (particularly the Phantom's part). IT's really interesting to listen to me because not only do I sing all of the characters, but I also sing them in their part as best I can. I can't manage to hit any of the high notes, but I can manage any of the guy parts. sweatdrop

Principally I'm an alto, but I have a pretty wide range.
