"So be it. Though I think you'll find I couldnt get her alone if I wanted. Unless she requests it of me." He knew he would never be on her good side ever so he would stop trying. Smiling at Alice, "Don't stop with the advice. I like it when others have... different points to address a problem."

She smiled alittle playing with Alice's hair. "And do forgive me for that, I ment to stop by sooner but I have been busy as it seems. And Mercy and my relationship was on what most mortal's call a break, Domi was gone for quite sometime and in that time Mercy and I grew close, when Domi came back things were a bit...akward so to speak and we...she decided it would be good to see others...or something along that lines, though it seems that did not get to far." She looked at Eric, still playing with Alice's hair "Of course not, the only reason I believe Mercy would ask you to be alone with her, was to kill you."

*She allowed Lady to play with her hair and relaxed a little since everyone seemed to be on the same page now.* You don't have to apologize, Lady, I knew you were busy. It seems like there are all kinds of little conflicts cropping up and disappearing, and reappearing. It's hard to keep up with! *She grinned* I feel out of place...I'm generally really forgiving. *She blended both conversations in the next thought* I'm afraid my point of view tends to be very different indeed.

She smiled "Why you have lived as long as I have, forgivness is a hard thing to gain, and when you have been betrayed and betrayed as much as I have its even harder."

*She smiled wryly.* That is easy enough to understand, and I didn't say that I forgive everyone...just most. Betrayal is something that I am familiar with, I just haven't lived as long to get used to it, I guess. *This thought made her shudder as she wondered who would leave her to die next.*

He arched an eyebrow. "We all share a similar feeling on betrayal." His tone slightly harder on betrayal. His eyes tightened as well. "next time Domi wants to poison me she needs to do better. Otherwise her cooking is exceptional."

"Give yourself a few more hundred years Alice, and a few more centeries of living with other vampires and betrayal becomes second nature, I learned that at a very young age I grew up in a clan, surrounded by vampires, betrayal is a common thing." She half smiled "Well her and I will just have to try harder next time." She pulled out a cookie that had chips of blood in it breaking it in half and held it down to Alice "Cookie dear?" She nibbled on hers

*She grew quiet with their conversation and wondered if clan-life was meant for her. She looked up at Lady when she offered her the cookie and smiled* Yes thank you. *She took the cookie and began pulling off little bites and nibbling them slowly.* Wow! I've never had these cookies before.

He began to notice the same thing. "I have to ask. Is she like the main cook around here or is that her hobby?"

"She enjoys making people happy." She looked at Eric "Its a hobby, we do not have a cook. Not enough people eat soild food regular to warrent the expense of having a cook. Those who eat soild food I left to cook on their own."

I like Domi. She's nice. *It was an almost childlike observance, and it was obvious that though she'd hurt and been hurt she sees the world with a sort of fascination, as if Domi's kindness pleasantly surprised her.*
