s**t, this day keeps getting better and better! After getting the CZ, I field-stripped it and lubed the rails because they were as dry as they could be.
Then, I got MUFFINS!
ANd now, apparently, if things go through correctly, there is a high possibility that I'll have a Jeep by the end of the month!

Stoic Socialist Wait... You got the CZ... And it didn't come covered/drenched in cosmoline? SCORE!
Fist-bump, eh? Dry as a damn bone, other than copious amounts of grease at the rollers! I thoroughly fixed that. *fistbump* And my next paycheck is going to buy a Mosin Nagant M44 that has been on hold for me for several months now.

Well, I've gotten to shoot it. Couldn't hit a damn thing, though I got very close! My mother, who has to wear VERY thick glasses, hit the can three times, while I didn't hit it at all (just some VERY close calls, bouncing it)
Now for a review. Recoil: Fun! It didn't hurt, and it wasn't nonexistent. It DID move quite a bit, so it wouldn't be the choice for EXTREMELY accurate followups.
Accuracy: Much better than me! The last owner painted the back of the sights white, so they indexed well.
Weather: ******** cold. Way too ******** cold. Didn't affect performance at all, even though I lubed the rails with a GREASE.
Ergonomics: Not that bad, actually. It might be because I haven't found much that really fits my hands, but I didn't find the ergonomics that bad. It didn't hurt to shoot.
Noise: LOUD.
Overall Experience: Not that bad at all. Accurate, easy to use, reliable, and it didn't hurt to shoot. It was loud, with some kick, but neither were too horrible. The weather is UNGODLY COLD, so I was wearing gloves, and the low temps didn't mess with the function. I can't hit s**t with a pistol, so that's nothing new. I've taken it apart and cleaned it, then relubed and reassembled. The barrel is a b***h to get back through the front of the slide, I have to use a pen to guide and lever it back in.
I have videos. But those will take a while. As you will see in mine, I found out that gloves taste horrible. I have a set of gloves with a mitten finger that can be flipped over the cut-off fingers, and I had to pull it off to release the magazine.

Yeah, I have an accent. And mic's don't flatter me. I pointed with the camera, when talking about the brass. It ejects VERY positively. VERY. Couldn't hit s**t. As mentioned. And that glove tastes horrible.

Freak_090 Eastern-Bloc, If it ain't loud, it ain't worth making. AND if I can't kill you with the barrel during disassembly. Funny "oh s**t" story that has to have happened to a first time auto-pistol owner at least ONCE in their entire life. When removing the barrel to clean and lube it after shooting (keep in mind, this is about the fifth time I've done it, the first four to get used to it), I jammed it halfway between "installed" and "removed". So I pulled it forward again--and the magazine floorplate slipped out of the groove. TWANG! Shot across the room. And left a SIZABLE dent in my wall. I would not want to have been looking at it like an idiot when it slipped.

That b*****d with the snow is a douche, it's THREE FRICKIN DEGREES and not a damn snowflake.
And that kid with the MOsin looks like he got flipped on his back after that picture was taken.
Damn, it's hard finding non-corrosive ammo for cheap! ANd even HARDER to find anything other than FMJ! MagSafe's "frangible" round is $25 FOR SIX ROUNDS, and everything I've heard points to a charge-and-a-half causing ruptured cases or blown primers. Wolf's JHP is hardly ever in stock ANYWHERE. I'll see if my local shop can order some. But damn, $17 for 144 rounds ain't that bad for a centerfire pistol caliber, even if it IS corrosive. I gave $13 for 50 rounds of S&B.
So, anyone finding huge lots of 7.62TOK for insanely low prices? I get paid tomorrow, and should have some left over after the M44.

I plan on getting some for cheaper plinking, ALONGSIDE S&B, and seeing if my shop can order some Wolf JHPs for me. There are 800-round lots in sealed cans for $100 of the corrosive surplus.

What were you using in the vid? Sellier and Bellot. The last box the dealer had. I want some JHPs so I lower the chance of overpenetration during home defensive use (it has similar ballistics to the .357MAG), and I'm also looking for particularly cheap lots for plinking. Right now it looks like it'll be romanian surplus, at $8 for 72 rounds (or approx $27 for 144 rounds WITH SHIPPING) from Sportsmans Guide.
